    I have known many people who have witnessed people being impacted by Holy Spirit using an unknown language (to the speaker) spoken through a believer in order to reach someone in miraculous ways. The church, the body of Christ, being the church. See: Acts

    He lost me when he said not every Christian is filled with the Holy Spirit. If you have accepted Christ you have the Holy Spirit. There is no tier system, that I know of. We cause more harm than good when we have the perception that we have more of God than than someone else.

      Every automobile has an engine. Not all of cars have the necessary fuel to reach one's destination.

      Listen again, he didn't say that. He said the opposite, if you have Christ as Saviour you have the Holy Spirit. I would say it this way, how much of you does the Holy Spirit have? God is constantly filling me, because I need more and more! Enjoy!

    If you speak in tongues when people are around we should have an interpreter, it's in the Scriptures

    Don't you think he's promoting speaking in tongues a lot even though not many have this gift. 🤔

    Sounds like everyone goes to heaven doesn't it? Yet narrow is the way isn't it? 🤔

    This one makes no sense? How can you be a follower of Christ and not have the holy Spirit in your life? The holy Spirit drives you to follow god, helps you to understand God's word, helps you to pray, helps you to put God's word into practice.
    You can't be a Christian without the spirit on your life, spirit is a free gift for all those who open their hearts to god, have faith, believe in him and accept the free gift of forgiveness.
    😊🙏

      This video agrees with you in that you cannot be a Christian without the presence of Holy Spirit in your life, it made that clear at the beginning of the video. ( 1:30 - 2:21 mark ) They also gave a great illustration of this: The pilot light in the boiler is always there, but when the gas is turned on there is a greater flame.

      It's amazing how some some people just continually define the concept of ignorance. Congrats to you my friend! Perhaps take a course on literary use in Great Britain, and we'll wait for you to jump back into the conversation ;)

      Aha it may sound daft until you've experienced it for yourself - to me the Holy Spirit was just a distant concept until God encountered me with the Holy Spirit in a life changing way. I'd encourage you to at least be open to the reality of Christianity and the Holy Spirit. If God is real then it changes everything, if he's not then we can forget about it, but at least give God a chance. Perhaps start with a prayer like 'God, if you're real, please help me to know'

    • @urasam2
      @urasam2 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@JamesHickers No, “God” didn’t encounter you with the “Holy Spirit” - you more than likely had some experience which you attributed to God with no justification for doing so. If you can’t demonstrate that it was anything other than in your head, then it was in your head. If the best defender you can offer is “try it yourself” then we get nowhere. Lots of love, stay safe.

      @@urasam2 If God is real, then a supernatural experience is completely plausible beyond just my head. There is a book/film called 'The Case for Christ', written by an Athiest who tried to disprove God and found out that the proof for Jesus' existence and alleged resurrection is much more convincing than you may think. If Jesus rose from the dead, then God must be real, and therefore spiritual experiences today are totally possible. Perhaps give the book a read or the film a watch, and if that gives you enough faith to believe there's at least some chance that God may exist, then what's the harm in 'trying it yourself'. It's the experience of God that brings the evidence to life
