Ive been doing the Alpha course and it has become one of the most important profound experiences of my life. I look forward to attending the sessions at my church. I didn't plan for it to happen it just happened and suddenly im attending church and i am thankful everyday that its happened.

Why have they kept the Alpha question mark over the entire video? I find it so distracting and annoying that I am having to close my eyes and just listen, rather than watch it. Does anyone know how to get rid of that?

When you're falsely accused, you may recognise in the accusation "In your circumstance, as I imagine it to be, I would behave thus, therefore you have". If the accusation isn't false, you will need God's help. So why not ask Him for help?

I'm not really a fan of reading the Bible. Often times it gives me anxiety.

He lost me when he said not every Christian is filled with the Holy Spirit. If you have accepted Christ you have the Holy Spirit. There is no tier system, that I know of. We cause more harm than good when we have the perception that we have more of God than than someone else.

why is there a permanent "?" on these videos. I wish there wasn't

Says god created man and woman, but that's not really true unless you really twist the words. Modern man evolved from homo erectus, so there was nothing to create. And same for the animals, they weren't exactly created, they just evolved. I don't get this "In his image" stuff, if god isn't physical then he doesn't have an image, and why would be a particular species of ape?

How does God speak to us & guide us ? 1- Commanding scripture (His Word is a light for my feet and a lamp on my path) 2- Through His compelling Spirit (we are led by the Holy Spirit, our conscience knows peace or not according to God’s will for us. We recognize His voice by knowing Him) 3- Prophesy, visions, dreams, supernatural (sometimes even an audible voice) 4- Prayer & Godly Counsel (other Christians, body of the Church) 5- Common sense, Circumstances and signs (Prov. 16:9, Psalm 37:5) To know if it’s God talking to you or not: - Is it in line with what the Bible tells us ? - Is it strengthening encouraging comforting, does it promote love ? - Do you feel a sense of God’s peace?

I love Alpha. My lovely church in Australia - just started this wonderful course. I did a few session, but now I am overseas in Barcelona and I watch the continuation at 5 am. So wonderful to hear the word of God. Thank you very much and bless you all ❤

What's the point in prayer if god can't affect your free will? You could argue that affecting your environment is ok, as your free will remains intact. But if god can affect ones environment, why not instantaneously imprison the nazi guards at all the concentration camps by placing a wall around them, allowing the jews to escape? Doesn't quite add up.

Bible is love letter to God. So we can have relationships with him.

Alpha and Nicky is a genius way to begin a relationship with GOD, JESUS CHRIST, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT. These teachings make it simple for me to understand GOD way better than sermons at church. I feel connected to Jesus and the holy spirit. I'm 68 years old and am grateful for these lessons. Thank you. I wish there was a way to put this series in the hands of every human being so they could discover God's love. This world would be a much better place and people would be happy.

Thanks for all who feed back on my 1 year old post about whether this was the official video or not. Let me say this is an Alpha video and the content is great. My point is that if you need to show this publicly, you would be better off sourcing it from HTB which comes without the question mark water mark.

Alpha is great! It gave me the an understanding about God,Jesus the meaning of life, it’s been 6 fantastic years since alpha was recommended to me ,it’s where it all began. I was single, lost, and no hope or future plan whatsoever. Now I’m married to a beautiful woman we have a handsome little boy and a huge ranch out in the wild I didn’t see this coming at all.,..all I really did was trust Jesus with my life.

I am highly sceptical of Shaila Visser's story. I suppose the fact that she happens to be the global vice-president of Alpha and also the executive producer of the Alpha film series shouldn't be a reason to doubt the veracity of her claims of miraculous healing, but it does make me extra cynical. Would a consultant physician really tell her to go home the day after an MRI scan, if she had correctly been disgnosed with cryptococcal gatii? I believe diagnosis is by means of a spinal tap. So what if the "fungal ball" is no longer detected, would they not do thorough tests to establish that the infection was no longer present? It's a disease that usually affects people with immune deficiencies. Shaila says she now suffers from immune deficiency and type 2 diabetes. Doesn't sound like she's been miraculously healed to me. I have not been able to find any mention online of this "miraculous cure", other than on her own website and in interviews with her. You would have thought it would have been mentioned in a medical journal, or on a news outlet.
