I am a bit confused.. on his 2.175 second solve he had the best reaction but on both his 1 second solves he wasn’t that excited. Isn’t having a 1 second solve better? New cuber here

The one second solves weren't anything too special, but the last solve sealed the world record for average of 5. I needed a solve of 2.40 or better to get the world record, so was I happy that I didn't cave under pressure.
