nah perk artifacts can be really useful, like a scar if you dont have med kits or signet for campire like 3 signets takes you to full health in a couple of seconds
What really surprised me in GAMMA was that artifacts (in anomalies, usually) either spawn in a bunch, or show up after some delay - only if you start art hunting later in the game. In most mods no matter how many emissions happens there will be only 0-2 arts in anomalies. As for perks from arts - I always hunt for Phantom Star before going to Radar. Skipping most fights (maybe with exception of the one after deactivating the machine) is a blessing. Small fun fact - the resist bars in the inventory are a bit deceiving. For example wearing light or medium suit and using every source of bulletproof resistance (arts, meds, plates) to fill "ballistic res" bar to full does NOT make you more resistant when compared with heavy/exo/nosorog.
I always shied away from Gamma, even though I always found it interesting, simply because I thought it was too hard to get into, but these guides are great, finally downloading it as I'm watching
Hi Venoxium, what vegetation mod did you enable in the GAMMA launcher for it to look like yours in the video. Thanks, also very nice and details video my friend, I am sure your channel will grow bigger in no time.
I haven't made any specific texture pack changes. I re-installed "Aydin's Grass Tweaks" and chose Spring Grass + Textures. There's also a file I downloaded from Hippo (Atmospherics dev) that makes the game less "depressing" looking. If you join the Discord in the description @ me and I'll post the file in there with how to install it. When it comes to all my settings here is an imgur link: imgur.com/a/ainWOT8
a stupid little mutant hunting tactic that i would not suggest but can also save your life if you run low on ammo fighting a big chunky melee mutant is none of the big chunky mutants can hit you if you are behind them and they have a worse turning circle than you so you can stab them to death from behind. i did this to cheese tf out of a psuedo-giant fight and a chimera fight in the early game
100% I've done it in sticky situations against a ton of mutants...never a Pseduogiant tho. I *did* run out of ammo and have to knife a Psuedogiant once tho. Back in my original GAMMA series like a year ago. Think it was EP2 called "Stupidity" somewhere around the 11 minute mark.
@18:00 the satiety penalty shows -0 due to a rounding issue. I use a mod that converts certain stats to real figures and makes them totally accurate. There, satiety penalty is indeed there (non-zero value). Health restoration is also misleading due to rounding up. A lower durability artefact may seem sufficient as the rounded up value might be the same as the max, but in reality it is lower. 75% condition I used to think was enough to give max restore value but the mod reveals the actual stat is not at the max.

They are definitely useful situationally like you described but as far as having them equipped 24/7, then pelts are the way to go.
they lose durability, and you'll inevitably sometimes forget to remove them. I tend to only use Fountain for the discounts.
Just keep in mind that scar can actually kill you as there is a chance it will cause permanent psi damage and you can't get rid of it
@@markusfpv1349 if you aint doing invictus just reload the save
bro i cant believe how much this is needed, GAMMA has so many little things not evn explained in the PDA guide
Glad this helps!
Excelent complement to the first guide! Again, thank you for taking the time. I find this video very helpful.
I'm glad it was helpful!

part 2!!1!!!1 wooo!1!
16:15 i could be mistaken here, but do you need the improved knife to get pelt? cuz that knife says "can cut thick skin" YES
Nah you can get pelt no matter what. Improved knife is for Chimeras, Psuedogiants and big mutants.
@@Venoxium to spesificly get pelt from them?
No, to skin them at all. If you don't have an improved knife then it can't skin them at all.
Is there an easy way to mod the inventory space/weight of items?
In Gameplay > Progressions settings I’m pretty sure you can up your weight but idk about any mods that edit the items weights.

Thanks for the explanation!!
24:02 always take scopes and silencers of rifles, did you take them?
thumbs up
He did, by pressing Left-Alt he auto looted and auto loot option always loots all the attachments for all guns on the body aswell so..
Yup. Left-Alt always takes off scopes, grenade launchers, and silencers and grabs them
