you cant complete the 4th and 5th rounds of the Arena until you go and complete the Main Mission chain in the SIRCAA facility - after that, you are fine to do all of it
Dnipro with 2x scope for medium range and saiga 12 for close range. The Lullaby until I got the Dnipro. The Kharod looks like a nice choice for 5.56, but I have literally over 4k 5.45 stashed even while using it as primary ammo type. The burst mode pistol (APSB) is pretty wicked too. I haven't picked up a sniper yet mostly due to the current spawn mechanics - looking forward to needing one, lol. For armor, seva 1 until malachite, then SSP-100I Survey - it starts out even cheaper than the seva 1 to repair and maintain. Repair cost is still a big factor for suit choice for me and this is a top tier suit with 4 slots even before upgrade and a value of under 50k even! (significant upgrade from Seva 1 which has a value right at 50k).
you can't do the arena past round 3 btw it allows you to do the first 3 but you have to do the main quest until the point where you leave the Seirca or whatever its called (the science place) and then it unlocks and you can start round 4 and beyond

Just fought this today, but after about 5-10 minutes of wandering around town and going into all the buildings it worked for me.

I did the quest for the Sultan to get his box; then I ran the mission for Beard to get his bois back. Somewhere after, that lady called me over and told me she set the whole things up. I guess i did do it before I went into the swamps and SIRCAA
@@benjamincampbell6885 If it makes you feel any better the stats on it didnt appear to be any better than the base model Dnipro I found and kitted out. I have been running that in single fire mode with the extended mag, acog, and a silencer. Its been pretty golden and im just far enough in the story to have obtained the Veles Detector if that means anything to you rn.
One more SEVA is in Rostok. By the crashed helo electric anomaly,climb up the crane next to it,it’ll be inside operator’s cab with some loot by it. Beware-high level of rad up there,grab all and get out.
@@ifistedabear There is a mod on NexusMods that allow you to completely skip the compiling shaders (without consequences as far I know), I am using it right now and save so much time each time I load into game.
Rookie tip - after the dual with tyrant pick up his gun. When the door opens to give the gear back, stand atbthe door and drop everything you can. Go to the safe and get your gear, then immediately turn around and go pick everything back up. You get to keep it all.
On the arena missions you can drop the armornthey give you onto a corpse then carry and drop the corpse just outside the exit pick it up and drop ot again outside were you get yoir stuff back and you can keep the guns and armor from the arena havent seen this anywere but its classic stalker jank lol
@theantagonist631 honestly I only used it for 3rd round with the seva armor but drop all your equipment onto the any enemy corpse pick up the corpse and drop him outside the arena door talk to the dude and "give back" the equipment then pick up your corpse again and take it out of that room
I didn't think to do this, I was drop throwing guns out of the arena onto the floor but they disappear after you "give back" equipment. Wish I could run through the arena again
its very good but i rarely use it, only time im using it is when im fighting Yoda cuz its a quest item you cant be disarmed. i always pack about 50AP rounds just incase.

Not a unique weapon, but a pretty good stash and artifact is located inside of a place called "the chasm". It's a radioactive ravine in the Yantar region. There's a few bloodsuckers down there but you can get through by letting them die to the radiation gas, crouching will also get you through with minimal damage. There's a cave at the end of the ravine (bloodsuckers spawn here) and that cave has a ton of dead Spark soldiers in it, one of the bodies that is through a hidden crack in the wall had a SPSA-14 shotgun, the Kharod assault rifle, the vector smg and the rhino revolver. Not sure if it'll be the same for everybody but that's what I got from it Edit: I forgot to detail on the artifact. I believe for me it was a Moonlight. It is towards the end of the ravine close to the cave entrance, sitting on a rock next to a dead Spark soldier.
the body in the cave where that is found, if you drop down into the yellow gas chasm from that ledge, there was four bloodsuckers down there trying to kill me at the same time.
I managed to find this by coming in the side with the helicopters. Only 2 blood suckers waiting at cave entrance and its such a small area you can shoot them before they reach you and theyre light work. Then when you get in veer to the right and another tunnel is a little higher up and you can climb up it and the dead body with the guns will be there. I got the rhino, and a shotgun i cant remember the name but its not the one that you mentioned so im kinda guessing the loot that spawns on the map is story progress involved, because i legit have been to like 7 zones and havent seen a single vector smg. Im at the mission right after you get the sniper from strider, only like 4 missions in but im all the way in yantar exploring lol
I noticed early that in the arena any weapon that gets dropped in a fight doesn't despawn in subsequent fights. So for the arena battle after you kill the Chimera you can drop your rifle and remaining ammo near the arena exit on your way out. When you come back for the last fight you can pick up the rifle and headshot him at a decent range.
Not gonna lie, this video was super helpful! I missed the SOFMOD, and since I'm still pretty early in the game, it's awesome to know where to find these items later when I get to their respective locations. Anyway, here's 2 pounds! 🙏
13:05 You can actually shoot the weird ball and make it easier to grab from the edge of the pond instead of having to go all the way to the center. Not sure if its a bug, but it definitely helped me out when I kept dying to the water sphere lol
I preferred the Drowned AK during my early playthrough. You can get it literally right at the entrance to the Slag Heap. There's even an npc that tells you to grab it for coupons. Just don't give him the gun. It's an AK with a built in launcher and dual mag. Pretty strong early game. You can also attach a scope and silencer on it if you want.
My favorite shotgun is definitely the Texan. 2 barrels, 14 rounds, pump action. just pure fun. I love to pair it with the unique Model Competitor revolver and then I just usually carry around a Dnipro or Kharod. at least until A-Life is working properly and I have a reason to carry a sniper rifle around
Valid point. ACOG works good, no use for a sniper. Haven't tried the Texan yet, as saiga-D 13 rounds in 1.5 seconds.... Can't be beat especially the reload time. Just wish we could keep the drum magazine for it from endgame, same with the scope less 99 round gauss rifle.
Seva suit, LMG, and 701 Super are my favorite items I’ve found so far. The LMG is so overkill, but that’s why I love it. Obliterates mutants and is great for relieving frustration. Saiga honorable mention
1) Arena 4th fight is tied to SIRCAA quest - so it cannot be done to much early. 2) As a user of VSS Veteran as a main weapon I found Trophy VAL much more easy and efficient as a secondary instead of Saiga. I do love Saiga, but until I reach Yanov and Pripyat for upgrades - I will stick to double 9x39 setup.
I run the veteran as well. I don’t go with a secondary because I’m weird and think a true stalker loadout is 1 main gun and a sidearm. Can always pick up a backup in the zone.

@@feldingenieur8007 I don't see an issue with two guns, *if* one gun is always in hands and second is always on the shoulder. With small guns like VSS that could be done. But yes, your approach is generally much more realistic one.
Good video, but i have to at least partially disagree about Exosuits. Yes, they are expensive to maintain and especially expensive to upgrade, but if you have some basic knowledge of the game, artefact hunting and how the traders work, you should have no problems with that. The Diamond Exosuit can be obtained pretty early in Yantar, has 5 artefact slots and can be upgraded to be able to sprint and have 4 lead containers! You can put the Weird Ball, Nut, Flower or Water in the 5th. A lot of people sleep on artefacts in this game, but not only are they a good way to make money, but they can boost your stats tremendously! A lot of people save-scum to get the legendary artefacts, Thunderberry, Hypercube, Liquid Rock and Compass, but i recommend to just grab as many artefacts as you can while following the story. You can sell the ones you don't want to keep for quite a bit money and once you eventually find a legendary one, it is extremely rewarding. I strongly recommend to get at least the Thunderberry, which can be found in electric anomalies and boosts your endurance. This method is not only better for your bank-account, but also more lore-friendly and most of all, fun!
Have the diamond fully kitted out 😊 with 5 Artifacts for endurance 😅 I can sprint so fast for so long I'm like flash son. Love it literally 200 meters before I need to breath 😅 went on a 2.5k run with energy drinks I made it there in like 5 minutes freaking aswome 😅
Four Thunderberries for stamina and four Night Stars for maximum (140 kg) weight cover all my needs. Also, I have Hypercube, Liquid Rock, and Compass for other situations
I have a Liberty with the Thunderberry, Liquid Rock, Weird Water, and Weird Ball currently in it. Also have the sprint upgrade. It’s an absolute beast. Snuck into Pripyat halfway into the storyline and found it inside the library building.
Favorite weapon would have to be Glutton, the named PKM. It's inside the Underpass exit, just west of Rostok. If you go in through the tunnel, go through the shipping container, and on the right wall on the other side of the fence is a Power lever. Turn that on, then go up the stairs on it's left. Once at the top, skip the first room, and in the second, will be the opened door on the right. It's been a blast to use ever since I found it, but be wary of it's weight. The thing is a beast!
Not sure what’s the best of anything. But after finding the Kharod that’s all I want to use as my main weapon. So smooth. And the Saiga D12 as my mutant killer.
i rock the same loadout and fully upgraded them too, also i use a mod so that you can use smgs/boomsticks as sidearms instead of piewpiew pistols, the vector yes ples :D
@@AnontheGOAT The 9I Falcon can be upgraded to maximum physical protection, it's lighter and you can sprint in it. Even with the exo sprint upgrade it only let's you do a slow jog.
@ You can sprint in the liberty as well with the upgrade. Not sure where you’re getting that it’s a light jog. I can burn down like 200 meters before I need to stop. Also, with the weird water artifact, weight isn’t an issue at all.
So tip boys, the SSP 1001 Survey is even better than the Seva I suit. It losing a little in radiation and psi but smashes the seva in all the rest. Fully upgraded you can get 4+ phys and you can get 3 out of 5 lead containers without any blueprints. You can also get + 5% endurance regen and also 10% weight reduction from it. You can buy it at malachite and upgrade it there. Only suit better is the diamond exo I think

No way! The revolver doesnt one tap exosuits on Stalker. (Based on my fight against Tyrant in the final Arena fight) Man took a handful of face shots and a good amount of body.

Scoped AR actually oneshots most enemies with the headshot ( sometimes you need to use m995 for it to do it) and because it's silenced you can stealth with it

Early game i just ran drowned with a scope on it, but once you get to the point where everyone is in exosuits i start carrying more stuff, either a saiga or the unique ram the texan, a 701 super, and if i want something automatic either the riemann or the unique as lavina "trophy". And armor i make a staight line to a seva 1. Endgame i was running the liberty exo.
I think the exoskeleton is the best, its load capacity is +25kg and 5 pockets expand the possibilities at the beginning of the game it is not necessary to pump up all the characteristics, weight and running are enough, the price is ~100k this trick also works with weapons)
I really like the corundum suit, you have great physical resistance but this suit also allows you to upgrade it for 5 total artifact slot AND TWO lead containers. as for weapons im over 100 hours in so I use a Kharod and I prefer the D-12 over other shotguns, for pistol usually its Skif's pistol but the Rhino and Mac-10 are very fun to use

And a little more info than “Just up the road” lol Be careful, they are areas from the siva suit to crystal csc that kill you automatically.its not inside the military base but outside. Idk if it’s intentional or a bug cause you get to close. I even went around south of stechanka died from nothing there as well. So just be careful. I don’t know if it’s rng but I had three bloodsuckers chase me for about a 1km. I spend three hours trying to figure out how to get to the siva suit, let alone go alllll the way around to the crystal csc. But I figure I make this comment. Hopefully it helps someone.
you can get the best armor in privyat and you can get it early you just gotta go to yaniv station and go town the tracks till you see a excavator climb on the train hop across both trains and you’ll get rads from it so bring anti rad meds and run along the road going left next to pripyat and from there just find the sunny side kindergarten i think it’s called and it’ll be at the top of the building (i’m high asl so idk if i explained this well)
LMAO. SOFMOD is in my inventory merely because I was on my way to get the extended mag for the VSS and found it while just poking around. :) Well, that’s one less thing to worry about. And hell yeah, I went to Cordon too, just because like Drewski was on a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. GAMMA or Anomaly kick and I wanted to see it for myself. It was weird seeing this bridge in “real life” after so many times in vids. Did not check the area though so this a great tip. Thanks!

Sledgehammer is so great but I find the reloading really annoying. So much so I gave up and switched to the Saiga. Also the arena final challenge for some reason took forever for them to allow me to do it. Guess you have to reach a certain point in the main mission. Also the final round I used the assault rifle and easily killed him circling around that area he starts at
Never had to throw the grenade to get the trophy gun if you just look through the vent you can grab it. Tested 1 week ago still works so I always save the grenade. But it look cool tho
A slight improvement? The Saiga 12 is vastly superior, especially after the optic sight and drum round magazine upgrades. To "a little better" is comparable to that a medium machine gun is only slightly more lethal than a simple pistol.
Best AR is Dnipro. Best shotgun is seige or Margarch and best pistol is rhino. Best sniper is probably the one you can use the under barrel shotgun as an attachment
You cannot do the sledgehammer missions just right as soon as you start since I got stuck after the third round and still need to advance on the story to complete this side quest😊
I don't know if finding the "Special" weapon in a stack of 2 on the body is a bug (it probably is), but it's pretty funny, even if unintentional. Makes it the "least special" special weapon(s) in the game.
What’s crazy is they make these unique weapons and then just randomly put it on a crate somewhere. 😂 That’s why I really like this game, you get rewarded for aimlessly wondering around and checking everything out
I did both prerequisite side missions for the CF (best AR) but I haven't progressed the main story beyond just leaving the lesser zone. I'm not offered 3 captains yet so it must also have a story mission as a prerequisite as well. (or it's an anomaly, lol)
So the rat killer can only be obtained after the main quest? Does it spawn before the quest? Or any other alternative way to get the original submachine gun for free?
Is there any reason why the ar drum mag stash at the train doesn’t show up for me? I’ve tried reloading saves and it still doesn’t show is it locked behind a mission I’m missing?
Man when is this mission for the second weapon shown available! I hope it’s not a mission that only comes with certain decisions. I’ve been using a maxed out non special edition Kharod. I was using the clusterfuck for a long time. I have Drowned and a few others but this normal Kharod with attachments is bad ass. What drives me nuts is guns like Drowned which are great but you can’t put attachments on it. Or barely any if any
Weird water is gamebreaking good. It adds around 40kg carry weight and completely negates radiation from other artefacts. I have weird water and 4 other maximum rad artifacts and no lead containers needed. (2 thunderberries for lots of stamina, a hypercube for max bleed resistance and compass for max physical protection). Game is a breeze at this point with only a few select mutants forcing me to actually play cautiously.
It's also bugged for a lot of Xbox players. If you don't grab it when FIRST encountering the anomaly it will be gone forever. I've tried it all, even 30 hours later it's still gone :p
I sold the sledgehammer because I wanted 2 assault rifles and a sniper, so I sold the sledgehammer to lose the weight. And goddamn it do I regret that, that thing was a beast at taking down mutants! I even went back to the trader I sold it too and It was gone :,(
"to lose the weight"? Just stuff everything into your personal storage box except the essentials like a couple of meds and some ammo. saved stuff is accessible in any personal storage box around the zone
I stole a SEVA 3 out of the arena easily by making use of the one versus all round, and the corpses of the enemy, the game might glitch out and make the body vanish, but it actually is floating near you, just open inventory to make the body drop to the ground and pick it back up, try to bring it to the wall and glitch drop it thru the wall. Then dump everything into the body as you exit, making sure that the 2nd door towards the staircase never close behind you when you cross it, then return to to the corpse and withdraw everything. There is a SEVA 3 in a radiated crane around rostok in the urban zone, I remember finding it on a different run trying to speedrun into the late game without doing main story. I have a parkour mod though so that skips the region when you scale walls to bypass barriers at the start of the game, the other other trick is using the gravity anomaly to launch yourself over the river, though I never managed to pull it off (patched?).
Can't say much about my absolut favorits, because I'm not completely through all main and side missions, but this is my loadout so far: I rock the Sledgehammer as a shotgun. Yeah, the Saiga is most likely better due to it's magazine, but no early game tech is able to upgrade it, so I'm sticking with my Sledge until then. I also rock the Clusterf*ck as an AR/DMR. Prevented a lot of bad situations for me due to it's range, armor pen and damage. My armor currently is the Wanderer suit. It is better than the SEVA-I in my opinion, because fully upgraded it rocks five containers and two of them are led. It has les physical armor than the SEVA-I, but the difference is not so drastic, that any mid physical protection artifact can't solve it. And finally as a pistol I use Deadeye. And yes, I still use pistoles in certain situations. I would rock the revolver, if I had a version that isn't beyond repair. Still searching for that. ^^
I was soo unlucky or mabye dumb. I kept shooting Tyrant in the head with the revolver didn't manage to kill him. Heard shooting his head is a waste since the bullets don't pen.

the Saiga is more than arguably the best shotgun compared to the sledgehammer due to one end-all-argument reason: the Saiga is magazine fed.
Facts; I got the Sledge after the saiga and sold it; mag fed is needed for some of the mutants.

Seva is given by Batya (not sure of English, Papa maybe) after protecting Zalissia. This is the one I use.
This is a 1,000 hour game. Half that time is running around the map dodging mutants and anomalies
The other half is compiling shaders.
The other half is complaining about it on TH-cam.

Not a unique weapon, but a pretty good stash and artifact is located inside of a place called "the chasm". It's a radioactive ravine in the Yantar region. There's a few bloodsuckers down there but you can get through by letting them die to the radiation gas, crouching will also get you through with minimal damage. There's a cave at the end of the ravine (bloodsuckers spawn here) and that cave has a ton of dead Spark soldiers in it, one of the bodies that is through a hidden crack in the wall had a SPSA-14 shotgun, the Kharod assault rifle, the vector smg and the rhino revolver. Not sure if it'll be the same for everybody but that's what I got from it
Edit: I forgot to detail on the artifact. I believe for me it was a Moonlight. It is towards the end of the ravine close to the cave entrance, sitting on a rock next to a dead Spark soldier.
Sadly the artifact glitched for me and is inside the floor.. made me very upset lol
the body in the cave where that is found, if you drop down into the yellow gas chasm from that ledge, there was four bloodsuckers down there trying to kill me at the same time.
I managed to find this by coming in the side with the helicopters. Only 2 blood suckers waiting at cave entrance and its such a small area you can shoot them before they reach you and theyre light work. Then when you get in veer to the right and another tunnel is a little higher up and you can climb up it and the dead body with the guns will be there. I got the rhino, and a shotgun i cant remember the name but its not the one that you mentioned so im kinda guessing the loot that spawns on the map is story progress involved, because i legit have been to like 7 zones and havent seen a single vector smg. Im at the mission right after you get the sniper from strider, only like 4 missions in but im all the way in yantar exploring lol
You got the SPAS off of him? Odd, he had the Kharod and the Rhino, but a Ram for me.
I noticed early that in the arena any weapon that gets dropped in a fight doesn't despawn in subsequent fights. So for the arena battle after you kill the Chimera you can drop your rifle and remaining ammo near the arena exit on your way out. When you come back for the last fight you can pick up the rifle and headshot him at a decent range.
Not gonna lie, this video was super helpful! I missed the SOFMOD, and since I'm still pretty early in the game, it's awesome to know where to find these items later when I get to their respective locations. Anyway, here's 2 pounds! 🙏

You can also just drop like 30 shots of AP revolver ammo past the door for the Arena. AP ammo will shred the dude

I preferred the Drowned AK during my early playthrough. You can get it literally right at the entrance to the Slag Heap. There's even an npc that tells you to grab it for coupons. Just don't give him the gun.
It's an AK with a built in launcher and dual mag. Pretty strong early game. You can also attach a scope and silencer on it if you want.

My favorite shotgun is definitely the Texan. 2 barrels, 14 rounds, pump action. just pure fun. I love to pair it with the unique Model Competitor revolver and then I just usually carry around a Dnipro or Kharod. at least until A-Life is working properly and I have a reason to carry a sniper rifle around
Valid point. ACOG works good, no use for a sniper.
Haven't tried the Texan yet, as saiga-D 13 rounds in 1.5 seconds.... Can't be beat especially the reload time. Just wish we could keep the drum magazine for it from endgame, same with the scope less 99 round gauss rifle.

Seva suit, LMG, and 701 Super are my favorite items I’ve found so far. The LMG is so overkill, but that’s why I love it. Obliterates mutants and is great for relieving frustration. Saiga honorable mention
1) Arena 4th fight is tied to SIRCAA quest - so it cannot be done to much early.
2) As a user of VSS Veteran as a main weapon I found Trophy VAL much more easy and efficient as a secondary instead of Saiga. I do love Saiga, but until I reach Yanov and Pripyat for upgrades - I will stick to double 9x39 setup.
I run the veteran as well. I don’t go with a secondary because I’m weird and think a true stalker loadout is 1 main gun and a sidearm. Can always pick up a backup in the zone.

@@feldingenieur8007 I don't see an issue with two guns, *if* one gun is always in hands and second is always on the shoulder. With small guns like VSS that could be done. But yes, your approach is generally much more realistic one.

Good video, but i have to at least partially disagree about Exosuits. Yes, they are expensive to maintain and especially expensive to upgrade, but if you have some basic knowledge of the game, artefact hunting and how the traders work, you should have no problems with that.
The Diamond Exosuit can be obtained pretty early in Yantar, has 5 artefact slots and can be upgraded to be able to sprint and have 4 lead containers! You can put the Weird Ball, Nut, Flower or Water in the 5th.
A lot of people sleep on artefacts in this game, but not only are they a good way to make money, but they can boost your stats tremendously!
A lot of people save-scum to get the legendary artefacts, Thunderberry, Hypercube, Liquid Rock and Compass, but i recommend to just grab as many artefacts as you can while following the story. You can sell the ones you don't want to keep for quite a bit money and once you eventually find a legendary one, it is extremely rewarding. I strongly recommend to get at least the Thunderberry, which can be found in electric anomalies and boosts your endurance.
This method is not only better for your bank-account, but also more lore-friendly and most of all, fun!
Have the diamond fully kitted out 😊 with 5 Artifacts for endurance 😅 I can sprint so fast for so long I'm like flash son. Love it literally 200 meters before I need to breath 😅 went on a 2.5k run with energy drinks I made it there in like 5 minutes freaking aswome 😅
Four Thunderberries for stamina and four Night Stars for maximum (140 kg) weight cover all my needs. Also, I have Hypercube, Liquid Rock, and Compass for other situations
I have a Liberty with the Thunderberry, Liquid Rock, Weird Water, and Weird Ball currently in it. Also have the sprint upgrade. It’s an absolute beast. Snuck into Pripyat halfway into the storyline and found it inside the library building.
Favorite weapon would have to be Glutton, the named PKM. It's inside the Underpass exit, just west of Rostok. If you go in through the tunnel, go through the shipping container, and on the right wall on the other side of the fence is a Power lever. Turn that on, then go up the stairs on it's left. Once at the top, skip the first room, and in the second, will be the opened door on the right. It's been a blast to use ever since I found it, but be wary of it's weight. The thing is a beast!
Not sure what’s the best of anything. But after finding the Kharod that’s all I want to use as my main weapon. So smooth. And the Saiga D12 as my mutant killer.
i rock the same loadout and fully upgraded them too, also i use a mod so that you can use smgs/boomsticks as sidearms instead of piewpiew pistols, the vector yes ples :D

PSZ 9I Falcon suit is the best armor in the game IMO. And it's pretty easy to get early game too.
Liberty exo has the best physical protection.
@@AnontheGOAT The 9I Falcon can be upgraded to maximum physical protection, it's lighter and you can sprint in it. Even with the exo sprint upgrade it only let's you do a slow jog.
@ You can sprint in the liberty as well with the upgrade. Not sure where you’re getting that it’s a light jog. I can burn down like 200 meters before I need to stop. Also, with the weird water artifact, weight isn’t an issue at all.
So tip boys, the SSP 1001 Survey is even better than the Seva I suit. It losing a little in radiation and psi but smashes the seva in all the rest. Fully upgraded you can get 4+ phys and you can get 3 out of 5 lead containers without any blueprints. You can also get + 5% endurance regen and also 10% weight reduction from it. You can buy it at malachite and upgrade it there. Only suit better is the diamond exo I think
diamond exo is op. money should not be to much of an issue, atleast not mid/lategame

No way! The revolver doesnt one tap exosuits on Stalker. (Based on my fight against Tyrant in the final Arena fight) Man took a handful of face shots and a good amount of body.

Scoped AR actually oneshots most enemies with the headshot ( sometimes you need to use m995 for it to do it) and because it's silenced you can stealth with it

Early game i just ran drowned with a scope on it, but once you get to the point where everyone is in exosuits i start carrying more stuff, either a saiga or the unique ram the texan, a 701 super, and if i want something automatic either the riemann or the unique as lavina "trophy". And armor i make a staight line to a seva 1. Endgame i was running the liberty exo.
I personally am rocking dnipro with 7.62 conversion and saiga D extended mag for 13 shots its extremely fun bloodsuckers stand no chance
I got Trophy by accident just exploring. Now, with extended 30 round mag, it's my go-to weapon. Love it!
Finding these unique weapons and armor reminds me alot of Fallout 3.
I think the exoskeleton is the best, its load capacity is +25kg and 5 pockets expand the possibilities at the beginning of the game
it is not necessary to pump up all the characteristics, weight and running are enough, the price is ~100k

I really like the corundum suit, you have great physical resistance but this suit also allows you to upgrade it for 5 total artifact slot AND TWO lead containers. as for weapons im over 100 hours in so I use a Kharod and I prefer the D-12 over other shotguns, for pistol usually its Skif's pistol but the Rhino and Mac-10 are very fun to use
for the nade throw just right click it under hand throws the nade and it goes down the tube easier.

Be careful, they are areas from the siva suit to crystal csc that kill you automatically.its not inside the military base but outside. Idk if it’s intentional or a bug cause you get to close. I even went around south of stechanka died from nothing there as well. So just be careful. I don’t know if it’s rng but I had three bloodsuckers chase me for about a 1km. I spend three hours trying to figure out how to get to the siva suit, let alone go alllll the way around to the crystal csc. But I figure I make this comment. Hopefully it helps someone.

you can get the best armor in privyat and you can get it early you just gotta go to yaniv station and go town the tracks till you see a excavator climb on the train hop across both trains and you’ll get rads from it so bring anti rad meds and run along the road going left next to pripyat and from there just find the sunny side kindergarten i think it’s called and it’ll be at the top of the building (i’m high asl so idk if i explained this well)
The best weapon is that final weapon on the table offered to you before the final mission. Period.
LMAO. SOFMOD is in my inventory merely because I was on my way to get the extended mag for the VSS and found it while just poking around. :) Well, that’s one less thing to worry about.
And hell yeah, I went to Cordon too, just because like Drewski was on a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. GAMMA or Anomaly kick and I wanted to see it for myself. It was weird seeing this bridge in “real life” after so many times in vids. Did not check the area though so this a great tip. Thanks!

Sledgehammer is so great but I find the reloading really annoying. So much so I gave up and switched to the Saiga. Also the arena final challenge for some reason took forever for them to allow me to do it. Guess you have to reach a certain point in the main mission. Also the final round I used the assault rifle and easily killed him circling around that area he starts at
Never had to throw the grenade to get the trophy gun if you just look through the vent you can grab it. Tested 1 week ago still works so I always save the grenade. But it look cool tho
A slight improvement? The Saiga 12 is vastly superior, especially after the optic sight and drum round magazine upgrades.
To "a little better" is comparable to that a medium machine gun is only slightly more lethal than a simple pistol.
Jesus the has so much to learn and watch out for that I had to come here for tips it could be overwhelming
My favorite AR is definitely the IWI Carmel, AKA, The Kharod.
Best AR is Dnipro. Best shotgun is seige or Margarch and best pistol is rhino. Best sniper is probably the one you can use the under barrel shotgun as an attachment

You cannot do the sledgehammer missions just right as soon as you start since I got stuck after the third round and still need to advance on the story to complete this side quest😊
the sledgehammer loads so slow. I got and used the predator which I think does more damage. its hard to tell when the damage is max for both.
I don't know if finding the "Special" weapon in a stack of 2 on the body is a bug (it probably is), but it's pretty funny, even if unintentional. Makes it the "least special" special weapon(s) in the game.

I did both prerequisite side missions for the CF (best AR) but I haven't progressed the main story beyond just leaving the lesser zone. I'm not offered 3 captains yet so it must also have a story mission as a prerequisite as well. (or it's an anomaly, lol)
You have to ask one of the captains for the main mission, so until you progress past that, you cannot get the CF rifle

Idk why but i have a bucket s-2 upgraded and its stats are better than most of the weapons i find. Better penetration range accuracy and damage.

Man when is this mission for the second weapon shown available! I hope it’s not a mission that only comes with certain decisions. I’ve been using a maxed out non special edition Kharod. I was using the clusterfuck for a long time. I have Drowned and a few others but this normal Kharod with attachments is bad ass. What drives me nuts is guns like Drowned which are great but you can’t put attachments on it. Or barely any if any

Weird water is gamebreaking good. It adds around 40kg carry weight and completely negates radiation from other artefacts. I have weird water and 4 other maximum rad artifacts and no lead containers needed. (2 thunderberries for lots of stamina, a hypercube for max bleed resistance and compass for max physical protection). Game is a breeze at this point with only a few select mutants forcing me to actually play cautiously.
It's also bugged for a lot of Xbox players. If you don't grab it when FIRST encountering the anomaly it will be gone forever. I've tried it all, even 30 hours later it's still gone :p
I'm using a mod that makes the clusterfeck hit with the damage of a .308. Otherwise it's not really worth using while the Mark 1 EBR exists.
The three captains mission won't show up when I talk to her and when I go to the ladder half of it is gone so I can't get the weapon wtf

Just buy the Saiga D-12. It has the same specs plus extended mags up to 20 ammo
"to lose the weight"? Just stuff everything into your personal storage box except the essentials like a couple of meds and some ammo. saved stuff is accessible in any personal storage box around the zone
I stole a SEVA 3 out of the arena easily by making use of the one versus all round, and the corpses of the enemy, the game might glitch out and make the body vanish, but it actually is floating near you, just open inventory to make the body drop to the ground and pick it back up, try to bring it to the wall and glitch drop it thru the wall.
Then dump everything into the body as you exit, making sure that the 2nd door towards the staircase never close behind you when you cross it, then return to to the corpse and withdraw everything.
There is a SEVA 3 in a radiated crane around rostok in the urban zone, I remember finding it on a different run trying to speedrun into the late game without doing main story. I have a parkour mod though so that skips the region when you scale walls to bypass barriers at the start of the game, the other other trick is using the gravity anomaly to launch yourself over the river, though I never managed to pull it off (patched?).
Ngl I immediately ditched the Sledgehammer when I got a Saiga D-12

Can't say much about my absolut favorits, because I'm not completely through all main and side missions, but this is my loadout so far: I rock the Sledgehammer as a shotgun. Yeah, the Saiga is most likely better due to it's magazine, but no early game tech is able to upgrade it, so I'm sticking with my Sledge until then. I also rock the Clusterf*ck as an AR/DMR. Prevented a lot of bad situations for me due to it's range, armor pen and damage. My armor currently is the Wanderer suit. It is better than the SEVA-I in my opinion, because fully upgraded it rocks five containers and two of them are led. It has les physical armor than the SEVA-I, but the difference is not so drastic, that any mid physical protection artifact can't solve it. And finally as a pistol I use Deadeye. And yes, I still use pistoles in certain situations. I would rock the revolver, if I had a version that isn't beyond repair. Still searching for that. ^^
I was soo unlucky or mabye dumb. I kept shooting Tyrant in the head with the revolver didn't manage to kill him. Heard shooting his head is a waste since the bullets don't pen.
