Anna Stegmann is such an expressive player. A real joy to watch her deliver a fabulous performance. Bravo!
Woah! Je ne savais pas qu'il existait une autre version du 4ème concerto brandebourgeois!
👏👏👏
Loved the sound of that harpsichord.
Thanks and happy Christmas!
The recorders sound wonderfully well!
Yes, they are quite healthy.

Harpsichord microphone needed to be closer to the instrument in my opinion. It's a harpsichord concerto!
That's not entirely fair - regardless of the name, it is actually a concerto for Harpsichord and two recorders or flutes - transcribed from his 4th Brandenberg Concerto, which was also for three lead instruments, a baroque violin and two recorders.
There is no 'harpsichord microphone' just as there are no individual microphones for the recorders or any of the other instruments. It's an ensemble work in which every instrument contributes to the whole and as such, the miking is fine. The harpsichord is well represented in the 2nd and 3rd movt, as the 1st violin is, in the 4th Brandenburg concerto, which this is a transcription of.
It's like the composer, JS Bach, had ten brains.
