Semovente German army - Tamiya - Italeri - 1/35 - Tank Model - Part 2 [ Painting - weathering ]

- It is the start of amoeber camouflage painting. If it is Tamiya's specified color, the color scheme will be quite dark, so I used the box art as a sample to mix the colors. While being impressed by the German army that designed this complex and modern camouflage pattern, I worked on it by hand using a brush and steadily. If you apply elaborate painting, it will be difficult to proceed with the weathering work later (laughs). How about everyone?
アメーバー迷彩塗装の開始です。タミヤの指定色だとかなり暗めの配色になってしまうので、ボックスアートを見本とし色を調合しました。複雑でモダンなこの迷彩柄をデザインしたドイツ軍に只々感心しつつ、コツコツと筆を使い手書きで作業を進めました。手の込んだ塗装をすると後のウエザリングの汚しの時、なんだか勿体無くて困ってしまいます（笑）。皆さんはどうでしょうか？

Nice result on that intricate colour scheme. I like your confidence on dumping the airbrush and getting the paint brush out. Works well.

I've heard German army but never heard of "Jerman" army? Semovente is an Italian tank but guess used by Wehrmacht too. And so when you mixed brown, yellow, and buff , give you more of true color for red brown? Great job with brush painting. Tamiya makes awesome kits ..don't they!

Outstanding again! I have two questions: 1, how long did you let the oil paint dry before spraying the clear coat? 2, what are you putting on the pastel chalk to fix it on the tank?
At this time, it was summer, so I let it dry for a day (24 hours) before applying the clear coating. If the season is winter, this is not the case. Sometimes it doesn't dry even after 3 days. I mainly use enamel solvent to fix pastels. This is because it penetrates well. When pastel or sand is layered thickly, I sometimes use a thinly melted acrylic paint matte clear.🍔

Fantastic work with the camouflage painting. Soft hard camouflage lines are hard to reproduce with airbrush unless you mask a lot witch again is difficult and boring. I am going to start working on a model car witch have soft line camouflage. Maybe you can give me some tips on how I can brush it? I can send you a picture on social media if you want.

@@smc-2 why didn't you buy stackable tracks? I think it would look even better. Have you decided to assemble the model completely out of the box? Or is it difficult to find stackable tracks for this model for sale? Even so, the model looks great.
@@tigerbull6640 I simply couldn't buy expensive third-party parts because I had little pocket money left for the month. Once the TH-cam channel is on track and you can make some money, then you can be a little extravagant and buy expensive parts.😀

The 1/35 figure is so small that it's very difficult to shoot a video of the production process with a quality that I'm happy with. We are currently in the process of trial and error so that we can shoot good videos. I can't promise when, but I'll definitely post it soon, so please be patient. Thanks for your comment.

When I get older, retire from work, and have more free time, I will be able to try making a diorama, and I definitely want to do it. Now, as a hobby, I'm making one tank a month at a pace of completing it, but it's still very hard work. Until I make a diorama, it's a situation that I can't get around.Thank you for your comment.😄

Друг. Я как начинающий моделист в шоке от твоей работы. Это супер! Но ты показал как работал с аэрографом. А с кисточкой как работать и добиться такого успеха? И чем ты обезжириваешь модель?
Будь то кисть или аэрограф, каждый может стать хорошим в этом деле, если будет помнить о такой же тщательной работе и набираться опыта. Я использую кухонное мыло для мытья посуды, чтобы убрать жир. Спасибо за ваш комментарий.😄

What air sprayer do you recommend?
I always use a Tamiya airbrush. Among them, I prefer the one with a 0.2mm nozzle and use it as my main.😆

Why da Italian tank german
Italy and Germany are allies, and there have been cases where Italian tanks were modified to German specifications and used.
@@smc-2 Not exactly. This Semovente looks like the da 75/34. Only about 140 of these were built but too late in the war for Italy to use. Immediately after the armistice some Italian units fought the Germans. In one action, while trying to defend Rome, a unit of these Semovente da 75/34 were used by Italians vs. the Germans. But most of the tanks/SPGs were captured and a few more produced for use by the Germans after Italy's surrender.
