I wonder how it would feel being chipped with cyberware like these blades. Do your hands work normally? Does touching feel the same as if you didn't have these cyberware hands? Are you suddenly able to move these blades just like all the other parts of your body? Cyberware is such a cool topic
Well according to the Cyberpunk 2020 lore book, the cyberware people install on themselves must be at all times used with certain Meds, drugs an other enchancers in order for the brain to think its another extention of the body and avoid phantom pain
Its not necessarily good although Saka employees bodies have been augmented to fit the company implants which is why they experience so much pain when terminated the average guy doesn't have those augmentation so If u have a nightmare u most likely would kill ur girlfriend in ur sleep
In real life there are neural implants that give you sensory feelings of touch if you have arm implants. They are not perfect, but I guess in future like Cyberpunk it should be very close
maintainence would be a pain tho. imagine if flesh got gunked up in both ur arms during combat and now u cant properly close ur mantis blades or if some muscle-jacked animal managed to slam ur blade with a sledge hammer, bending it? or worse, ur opponent dodges it, grabs it with their gorilla arms and just tears the blade off your arm or just obliterates it with a punch

No you havent. You have had cops teleport in behind you and shoot. Civilian ai has two modes: 1. Cower in fear. 2. Run a short distance away. The only other thing they are programmed to do is say random lines related to being attacked/exposed to a combat situation.
For real though. I want to be surprised. Imagine thinking you can kill everyone when one npc is rocking Kerenzikov and Sandevistan with Mantis blades and decides to defend themselves
@@jmlaw8888 In the latest update some of them get aggressive if you bump into them and try to steal their car, but only some of, if you stare at them for too long they do too, and I think it's not only update 1.6 that does this, they fixed some of the running away AI, but I don't think aggro is in the latest patch notes.

Why would Arasaka sell these publically? I understand they have their own models of these, but it's not like modern day arms developers are selling their top products to the general public. It would make sense if these blades are contracted out to private military corps as opposed to being sold to any old civilian. Kinda counter-intuitive to Arasaka's whole global control thing.

Her Moves got me thinking, we've never received formal training and we don't move nearly as good as her, no rolling and cool dodges,No kicks, proper parrying,feints, debilitating strikes, evasive counters, various block moves, No disabling strikes, no critical moves like cutting joints,limbs/heads ( as of now it's possible only as finisher when health is low enough, not one shoting poorly defended foes) and causing profuse bleeding without special dedicated mods (not just crit damage) no cool Cyber Martial art (called something Like Panzer Kampf), It'd be cool if in a DLC we'd receive training to make the most out of our body and the tools be they Gorrila arms (Terrain and Object manipulation like Forcing open doors,wall scaling) , Mantis blades (combat style and wall scaling, sabotage),Mono Wire (Choke, grapple,Scale terrain,remote contact hacking that doesn't require ram, whip slashing strikes,disarm, elemental status effects),Arm launcher, Legs(kicks, parkour,wall run etc.), etc.

I presume that for more prolonged training, they connect the trainee to life support and take breaks for R&R as well as Physical training. Plus: She could be just rich,trained and augmented.
