One roadtrip once I had about 3 hours in San Francisco at like 2am. Got to skate pier 7 the curved bench and 3rd and army. Amazing experience that I'll cherish forever but it was hard, dark and I was tired from driving. That curve bench kinda sucks but it was so cool with the streets being completely empty
Great vid dude. Would be rad to see more vids of famous skate spots with your point of view on them. Maybe even some clips of tricks that have been done in those spots
I did an SF trip last year when the channel was still really new and tried to do something like that but this time I just wanted to make it more like a normal video. I do have some pretty famous spots locally I could check out though, maybe I’ll take you guys to the famous triple set soon

The ledge on the double set at 1:56 used to be super fun I got a noseslide on it and almost got bs blunt slide on it. The mirror one across from it was skate stopped otherwise I think fs tailslide and or 5.0 would've worked.
I think they just recently liberated that hubba. I saw a few clips recently and someone mentioned it was open. That thing is mellow but I wasn’t feeling up to it. Back blunt would be 🔥

He brought me to the EMB I was absolutely floored the place was dead. Only two things were waxed and that was the third star of the big seven and the kinked ledge that Mike Carroll backside disaster in the questionable video. Although I thought of the time skateboarding was done in my life, I just remember walking every square inch of that place and I actually had to touch all the ledges and remember all the tricks that I had studied on video for so many years
What kinda wheels you use? I'm about to buy a fresh complete but can't decide on the wheels I'm thinking about ricta crystal cores but don't know if they will be good for street

I’m just gonna say T funk is a special breed. He’s up there in that Cardiel, Milton Martinez bloodline. Idk how you even get to the point that you can size up a spot like that and think “yeah I can do that” 😂
China Banks is such a ridiculous spot. Gonna rewatch some Dan Drehobl footage from there, that dude makes it look like it's the world's mellowest transition and not the wall it basically is.
yah, your tricks looked good out there. As you know, consistently skating harder spots makes you a better skater. The Plan B questionable section for Mike Carroll at EMB, I realized that part of the appeal of EMB (at that time circa 1992) was that the bricks made flatground (and approach/ landing to ledges/stairs) harder in general (and so added an extra degree of challenge to already elite skaters of the time)- so after spending many hours at EMB, Carrolls (and others) skating would look even more polished when they moved it to smoother environs.
There was a depressing lack of skaters around the area compared to what I’ve experienced any other time I’ve been there. I mean they’ve essentially priced out anyone who isn’t rich so it’s not like there’s a ton of local kids with working class families in the city anymore. We had a whole discussion about this while we were walking around. Bummer 😞
