If it's at a store that has shopping carts those cuts are usually to run the boundary wire that signals the carts to lock up their wheels so people don't take off with the carts
The cut lines are called saw cuts. Theres about to be a storm water pipe or water pipe about to be instaled or replaced. But with the tar repair over the cut i almost feel like the job got called off
Good one! It’s snowy and so cold here in Montréal + the indoor park is overcrowded because it’s Christmas time, it looks more like a daycare! So no skate for a while!
I’ve skated eggs and popsicles and I go back and forth too. It’s fun to experiment. One of the enjoyable things about skating now a days. I’m close to your age and grew up with just popsicles.
i really like '90-'91 shapes, kinda squared tail, big tapered nose. i like to ideally have at least 1 popsicle and 1 shaped, right now it's an egg - grimple stix cardiel huffer shape. it's like a '92 shape
Snowy here in Boston, me and the homie hit the parking garage with the ride on grind/curb/manny pad Saturday morning! It is tough to stay motivated sometimes but always fun once your out
I'm soooo happy to see a new upload video. You kill it and yes! I would to watch you live. Merry Christmas to you and your family brother. Love from Baltimore
Alternative theory: it’s lines they cut into the asphalt to stuff Fiber line in to connect to that Amazon and/or fitness shop(s). They cut those thin trenches in yards when they install new fiber line so they don’t have to cut up a large chunk of grass. So it might be the same thing in the asphalt. I do like the saw cut theory, too, though, because it would be a way to get that 3 foot access to subgrade to lay new utility pipe or wires. Sick dad joke though. (Gentlemen’s clap for you)
I just picked up my 3rd real board again same size n shape its the best board ive ever had I took break an used baker and primitive for the past months I missed real
Man, when pavement saws cut lines like that it's usually because they intend to remove the sections in between. That could be to lay underground wire conduit or gas, etc, but sometime it is skate stopper oriented. They lay down rough cobblestone or blind bumps, for example, or they could put drainage pipe below and grating up top for water run off, etc. If you're lucky it was cut because there was asphalt buckling nearby and they wanted to give the blacktop room to expand in the heat. Hope y'all get to keep that spot.
3 cars is excessive af, dude. How many people did she say were skating there? Popsicle joke was too cold 8:53 🤣 relatable and relevant Hell yeah I'll watch a live! LFG🎉🎉🎉 Also, I liked that slam ( 4:44 ) when you posted it to your stories, however, it wasn't a "like" like, it was an acknowledgment of gnarliness
A couple years ago I saw an interview with Mike York about his small board company he does with his kids called roller horror. He was testing out a shape that had been someone's pro model back in the day. Looked cool as hell but idk who's it was
looked like utility work was done in that parking lot and thats what the cuts are for on the pavement. Probably fiber or some other power type of utility for the area.
The key to front boards is to not turn your shoulders at all. Only turn your hips. If you want to goto fakie then turn your shoulders like you already are
Once you get the basic lock ins on rails, I swear round bars are way easier to skate than square. Like more forgiving of slight weight mistakes. Just my two cents on rails.
48 F degrees is cold? That's perfect skating weather for me. I actually prefer colder weather like that than warmer. You can skate and not sweat to death. I sure wouldn't be wearing a winter hat and vest in that weather.
You need more skaters. Ironically one skater doesn't repel kids but a group of us do. I have a car park spot nearby which before was rife with drinking and anti social driving behaviour. Since we made it our defacto winter home they don't go there anymore. Probably because there's usually like 5-10 of us at a time though EDIT: Maybe it's just the area. I dunno. There's so many places i go to that everyone says are "dodgy" but it really depends on the day
Corolla, pre 2007. I have a coupl3 of old school Toyotas. You can tell the exact year of the old ones by headlight/tail light/parking light differences. Not possible with the newer ones.
@@vorpalblades the taillights had me second guessing it as a camry '01-'06, and i think it is. XV30. the angle, and maybe slight fisheye, make it look like a shorter car
Your joke about the egg board freezing itself into a Popsicle personifies your channel name. What a dad joke that was. Lol

I just landed my first Nollie Heelflip today at 35 years old 🤘
Nollie back heel next!!!
@@blaiseanddestroy congrats 🤘🏼
The egg to popsicle joke. Timeless 😂
Hoping you and yours have a wonderful Xmas and New year man. 🎄

Much love brother
"But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me." Psalms 22:19 KJV
That situation with the “security guard” sounded crazy with the cops showing up 😬
First the saw the spitfire jacket and then I saw the rail. Stoked to see you rocking both and stoked to see the rail getting work! 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
Your banter and the little random clips you drop in the videos are gold. Front boards look good to me 🫡
It’s a trench for conduit, electrical conduit

the lines are the keep shopping carts from leaving the parking lot. when a cart moves past the lines 1-2 wheels will lock up.
I liked the way you matched your beenie and the lining in your vest to the heel hit of your NB# 👊🏼💥 #steez
Don't feel like a weirdo. Mullen skates parking lots at 3am.
It's the best
I like the title, “Egg Board Enjoyer” 😂 Nice vid as always, I see the progression!

I am the opposite I mostly ride a 7.25 and when I get on an 8 inch popsicle feels like a boat.
freestyle shape?
I just started skating the same board. I love it!
maybe some rubber pads for the feet of that flat bar would help keep it from sliding
Maybe that line in the ground is where they are going to put parking blocks? I'm not sure
if someone just told me they wanted to sell some drugs i could respect that more than lying lol
Looks like u r supporting the coolest team!!! Real rules!!!
"switch nollie heel" wat
😄that's what I said.
Warming up to the NB 1010s, eh ?
That parking lot ledge looks like the perfect size
I like the boards from Metal, Fred Galls company, I've never ridden a Heroin deck but the ones from Metal are pretty sick are they similar to those ?
For Indy replacement bushings the washers are too small and the bushings spill over and cause the truck to bind you need the stock washers

Are there any EVchargers at the back of that parking lot? My first thought about those cut lines was buried electrical lines
Have a happy holidays and new year, bro! Do you still find time to game? What have you playied recently?

we got a new concrete local, the flat is nice and smooth. i can get on a bs board on the flat bar but can't ride it out/land it yet.
FsBs -- Shoulders parallel to bar .... BSTS. - same
3:40 well she is a KAREN
no credentials needed.

The cut in line is to drain the water and oil/liquids leaking from cars is my guess. Ble22ed days to you!
Dope! Yeah man. A live would be sick.
I thought your thumbnail said egg board destroyer I was like hell yeah lol. you liking the egg more than the popsicle now?

the 1010 s in that colorway are actually dope , thats my only complaint is there is many ugly colorways but that one is actually something id rock
Nice pop!
Jump ropes are great for warming up

Love to see it
Where i live makes me want to quit skateboarding to even have a place like after it gets dark would be awesome
Don’t quit. Move or build something to skate. There’s a reason so many skaters become construction workers.

not Dad Board with the dad jokes lmao u a fool
watch out for those primos near that bar. your head wont win that fight. if that girl is security them in the president of uganda.
Winter in Chicago. I repeat, winter in Chicago 💀
So funny hearing Cali people talk about how cold they are when it’s 48 degrees. Must be nice
don't knock the car, corolla with steelies goes hard. it's a bit newer than the really good ones, but still prob run forever

Almost as cold as in Stockholm Swe. But I still don’t skate, because it’s all wet 💦

is that a size 8.75 real board
8,5 is the blue one

I am a kickflip at 6:22 enjoyer
work on front board pop out back to the same side you started and the comfort will come
To me it seems like you have higher pop and a faster flick with that popsicle (not saying your flip tricks don´t look good on that egg board).
