I once joked to a friend about my Dad & the special bond he formed w/ a little stray Tux that showed up on his porch one day - saying, "that God knew that Cat needed my Dad." To which she responded, "God KNEW your DAD needed that Cat!" It was funny too when Boots showed up he loved on that cat saying "I prayed God would bring me a little friend like you. I just thought He would bring me a dog, but you will do!" Joke was on my Dad, as that cat ended up turning into being as big as a medium sized dog!😂 He was my Dad's best friend & snuggly buddy....all 3 1/2 feet long, 22 Lbs of him!!!!😆
Had to watch this video collection again. Time flies so fast - can't believe it has been almost four years since Nala chose you to be her dad, Dean. Those celadon-colored eyes of hers... mesmerizing! I like that you keep her survival skills sharp and let her explore the world on her terms...her personality shines through. You have some mad skills with snow, the igloo looked great! Awww baby Nala, she gets more red with age! Although I watched an old video a while back of the moment Nala was found, there were a couple of clips here l hadn't seen before! But of these 2 videos what l have seen was the instantaneous trust Nala had in Dean and that Dean's bond to Nala was love at first sight. She reminds me so much of our little friend, Leo, who we found in Oaxaca, Mexico. He traveled with us to Guatemala and then back to the US on our sailboat. Tragically, we lost him July 31, 2022😭 It brings such pleasure to us to see you and Nala.
