Don't worry about the gas vs diesel, it's an easy mistake when you grow up with green always being diesel. Glad you all noticed your mistake and no harm done. New to your channel and I'm loving your Icelandic series, keep on adventuring!

Hey Tim,
I recently put gas in my Diesel tank in the middle of South Texas in very small town and then I drove! Very bad/expensive mistake. Let’s just say it was a very long day seeking a remedy for that fiasco. Some confusion over the yellow handle vs. green handle and what was Diesel?
Sometimes we move to quickly and are preoccupied with work, etc.
Glad your mistake was a pretty easy fix. Although I think you got the silent treatment from Fin! Hey, Fin , chill your in Iceland. Sometimes a man just gets the gas/diesel yips!

Your glacier guide specifically said you can only drink surface water from directly on the glacier - "luxury let's take advantage of it".
Especially with sheep EVERYWHERE

I'm an idiot too, it happened to me in Croatia! There are a lot of false friends when you travel, colors at the pumps but also the names..

Hi Tim, I was wondering if you could let us all know the inside scoop. Was Fin pissed off with you over the fuel thing? She really looked pissed to me, but she was quiet about it, and its an understandable mistake. So I figured maybe I was reading too much into it and that she wasn't mad, just worried. Was she pissed? 😮🙄🚙⛽

How exactly did you guys charge your drone, phone? Did you rent a 12v charger?
If this makes you feel any better it was years ago I put diesel in my pickup truck but it's one of those mistakes you try to do once in a lifetime I actually started my truck and went about 5 miles down the road and it quit on me mine was a little more involved than just pumping the diesel out live and learn
