We just got back today from Iceland and it was the most EPIC trip! We RVed Ring Road and stayed and went whale watching in Husavik (saw 3 humpbacks and dolphins too). Your videos are wonderful!!
Cinematography stunning! If I could give you an award, you would get the Oscar. The series was a big hit with my family. It's on my bucket list. Looking forward to your next adventure.
🌅 🌅 Fin and Tim, What a beautiful country Iceland is! I love your eloquent description of the puffins and your reaction to the pufflings! I am concerned about how close the tour boats get to the whales and the dolphins, and invade their natural habitats. My family and I immigrated from West Germany to the United States in 1962. Our small dark gray old propeller driven immigration airplane from Hamburg stopped in Reykjavik (cold temps) for refueling and then headed toward Idlewild International Airport in New York. We stayed overnight in New York City, and the next morning took a Greyhound bus to Lansing, and we became Midwesterners and Michiganians/Michiganders. Tim and Fin, thank you for being Amazing human beings who share with all of us this Amazing world and planet that we share together. Anh Lê California
Wow, all of the adventure, fun, and amazing videography...your channel is one of the best and we really enjoy it! This series has solidified Iceland as a top place we want to go!
Great adventure in Iceland thoroughly enjoyed it. The scenery is both rugged and stunning. Can’t wait for your adventure in Greece. Stay safe. Fred in Texas.
Ive just discovered your channel and I LOVE IT!!! Having been to Iceland a few times myself (most recently in May 2021), watching your experiences filled me with so much joy and smiles. Can't wait to watch more of your adventures! Thank you and keep up the good work!!!!
You can reach the arctic circle on the Dempster Hwy from Dawson City, Yukon to Inuvik, NWT, Canada, and keep going on the new road built in 2017 from Inuvik to Tuktoyuktuk on the Arctic Ocean. They have a new campground built there.
WoW, what a stunning video. Loved the puffins and the elephant rock. Actually it was all stunning. Looking forward to your next adventure. Take Care & Stay Safe, hugs UK
That was amazing!!! I just love Puffins! Your videos are so much fun and so informative - I look forward to each and every one!! Can't wait for Greece!!! Thank you so much for sharing your amazing adventures with us!
Similar to my neck of the woods. Instead of puffins, we have murres. A few puffins though. We are above the arctic circle. Point hope Alaska. Bowhead whale, beluga in early spring. Late spring grey whales, killer whale, bearded seals, ring seals, ribbon seals ,walrus. All sorts a birds.....caribous, wolves , bears, polar bear, salmon, trout, grayling. You name it ... nice video ✌
With scenery like that you need to blare some Led Zeplin! *We come from the land of the ice and snow from the midnight sun where the hot springs flow* 🎶 🎸 Fantastic footage guys, really enjoying this trip of yours!
So epic! Out of all the places you've traveled, do you have a favorite? With your love for whale watching, have you thought of visiting Tonga at some point? They do whale swims and it is hands down the best whale experience ever! You are in a much smaller boat. Our group only had 8 people, so it is nice, small and intimate. Being in a small boat makes you feel right next to the whales. Swimming with the whales is incredible. We had a baby that was super playful. Highly recommended it!
It is the most beautiful Adventure, it would be difficult top this place. Iceland in my future in 2 years. Thanks for sharing an Awesome Series in Iceland Great editing, and Drone work 👦🏻👍🏻🏞🧗🏻♂️
A couple of things about the Arctic Circle: 1) It's not at exactly 66 degrees. It is dependent upon the tilt of the Earth so that it actually MOVES a few feet per year. It is currently moving north and will "soon" be north of Grimsey altogether. 2) The reason they made the marker a stone sphere is so that they can move it relatively easily as the Arctic Circle it self moves.
Here I am thinking it was like below zero up in Grimsey Island and then you say 42degrees F hahaha You guys have been in Florida wayy too long!! Love all the footage of the whales and puffins! I don't' want the Iceland series to end!
Loving your Iceland videos :) Heading there in October for my 30th! Which company did you do the Whale Watching tour in Husavik if you don't mind me asking?
Not gonna lie. Before this series of videos, I had zero interest in visiting Iceland. I'm more of a beach guy. But after watching y'all's adventures here, I wanna go check it out.
How long did the hike from the ferry to the Arctic Circle take in total? Heading to Iceland in 2 weeks and wondering if I can make it there and back in the 2hr window that the ferry stops
Hello from Phoenix, AZ! My husband and I are planning a 12 day trip to Iceland over Labor Day weekend. We'll be renting a 4X4 and driving around the island on and off the Ring Road. I've been loving your fun and informative VLOGs here on TH-cam. So engaging and inspiring. Some of this is due to the beautiful and jaw dropping drone footage you share. My husband is the photographer in the family. We currently owns a 4 year old DJI Mavic Air. He is considering purchasing a new drone for our trip. Hoping the new drone will have access to more features and be easier to use. We don't want to extend our visits to the exciting destinations due to a complicated drone set up and operation. Which drone do you use? Would you recommend it? What model or features would you find a must in a drone? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
Awesome! I didn't even realize there was a monument for the Arctic circle! Now I must go!! How long did it take for you to walk there? And is there a shuttle or something that goes to it, or do you have to walk?
It’s really not too far, 45 min would be a brisk pace, an hour round trip is probably sufficient, 2 hours would be really taking your time to stop and photograph Puffins, etc.

Arctic Circle is actually at 66 degrees and 33 minutes. You can go above 66 degrees latitude also in Iceland mainland.
Real talk I need to know where your white sweater is from because I'm obsessed!!!
Almost forgot?.... That is one cute dog😀
puffins!!!
I am going to grimsey soon in like 1 Month!

Can you say the budget for full Iceland trip of yours

You have to walk but it's only about 2km
@@timandfin awesome sauce! Thanks!!
what would you say is a good amount of time to give yourself to hike from the ferry to the arctic circle orb?!
It’s really not too far, 45 min would be a brisk pace, an hour round trip is probably sufficient, 2 hours would be really taking your time to stop and photograph Puffins, etc.
700!!!
👍👌😊👏
Wow florida really thinned your blood........
Typo! "Circle"
Lol 🙈 tnx
@@timandfin zero worries. Just trying to help! Awesome video!
11:00 - your explanation for the arcitc circle is unsufficient and would have given you a bad mark in school. It's not just a line at 66° North.
Unsufficient is not a word.
So disappointed ! Your commercials , republicans anti immigrant!
