Wow, even though Revan hated the mandalorians for they’re actions across the galaxy. At least he honor this fallen mandalorian who gave her life for trying to stop a fight, between her comrades & the villagers. And showing off his helmet to the Jedi council, for not helping out. Great view 👍🏻
Standing between armed warriors and innocent civilians un-able to defend themselves isn’t weakness its strength. Defending those who can’t defend themselves is heroic. I find Mandalorians really cool and interesting but the warrior religion mentality is not a foolish thing to live by as we all know looking back on their history and if you apply common sense irl it is not sustainable. I mean tarkin doctrine failed the empire especially after episode 4.
Revan saw them commit genocide so of course he hated them. The whole reason he ended up going to find Vitiate and getting turned to the dark side is the Mandalorians.
It's no wonder the ideology of pacifism enacted by Duchess Satine was considered an insult to some of them. The idea of a species that's known for being the greatest conquerors and warriors in the Galaxy committing to pacifism is Unthinkable to many of them and therefore would be a direct attack on their very pride and way of life
This is very interesting. It's understandable why Revan hated them so much. They committed mass murders, genocides galaxy wide. Full and admiration to the Mandalorian who sacrificed herself to protect the villagers! May the Force be with you too😊
You know having a game of thorns style “mandalorian war” that would do the lore of before the events of Kotor would be amazing. Season 1 it would be the mandalorian side of events, and season 2 would be the Jedi side of the same events.
I have a request for a video. What if Revan started his own Jedi Order? He could have done so according to the novel Revan. He offered to teach other Jedi what he'd learned but the council denied him and some even tried to expel him. But cooler heads offered a compromise, not to speak out against his marriage to Bastila if he did not spread his heresies. Bastila wanted to reject their terms, but Revan felt a philosophical war served no purpose. What if he agreed though? What if he decided to leave the order and start his own, boasting that his Jedi would be stronger because they did not deny their emotions and would cower as these Jedi had? He would take from all age groups and perhaps a few Jedi would join in as well, including Meetra Surik. He would aid her in the battle against the Sith Triumvate and perhaps more Jedi would have survived, joining him and not going to the summoning at Kataar. He would still however be plagued with visions and accompany Canderous to find the mask of Mandalore as well as learn the Sith have survived. This could allow him to perhaps build a better relationship between his new Jedi and the Mandalorians and together with the Republic they would make a strong galaxy that could take on the Sith Emperor's forces at the time. Revan would also eventually receive his mask and remember everything he knew before including the foundry. With that and other forces he might unite behind him such as his personally trained Jedi that would be much stronger then the weaker ones they might have a fighting chance.
We need a Revan live action movie or Tv show with Keanu Reeves at the Main Character himself. When I find fascinating about Revan is that he looked at the broader scope of the force itself and practically made it his own. Where even both Jedi, Sith and Mandalorian considered him the living embodiment of the light and the dark side of the force and he practically serve no one except the force itself.
Not just a Mando, but Revan reveals to him where he hid Mandalore's armor. Cassus would become the next Mandalore and fight alongside the Exile Metra Surik. Cassus would not have allied with Sith however.
I always wondered why Revan wore a Mandalorian mask when he hated their culture and society so vehemently... and now I understand why. These Mandalorians are nothing like the Mandalorians I've come to know in recent years, like Din Djarin, The Children of the Watch, or even Bo-Katan and her Nite Owls. No... these ancient Mandalorians were warmongering murderers, invading, destroying, and killing for the sake of pride, glory, conquest, and domination. It's no wonder why the Mandalorians and the Sith got along so well in the ancient days of the Old Republic. The vision Revan received from the mask he picked up must have been heartbreaking - To have seen a member of the culture he despised try to stand up for those who were helpless only to be gunned down for it, it's no wonder he finally lost faith and respect in the Jedi Order, for their cowardice, their hypocrisy, their self-righteousness, and their arrogance. It honestly baffles me how the Jedi keep making this same kind of mistake over and over, and not learning from it. But for Revan to embrace the mask of perhaps the one Mandalorian he might have sincerely respected (perhaps he could even have called her a friend had they had the chance to meet), and wear it as a symbol of his commitment to vanquishing the atrocities of the Mandalorians is understandable but also tragic. There is no way The Children of the Watch or even the Nite Owls would have approved of thz ancient Mandalorians, but that's becuz they experienced the very thing Revan had set out to do - Their (near) destruction. The loss of their people, their homeworld, their culture, and their pride at the hands of Moff Gideon and the Empire forced them to go into hiding for years thence, and then reconsider everything they had once believed and reevaluate what they had held sacred in accordance to their Creed. When they returned to reclaim Mandalore, they found actual survivors, but also plants and vegetation growing back after Mandalore had long been desolate and near lifeless from their previous generations fighting so much. That alone must have been humbling, and I can only hope they carry the lessons they learned their their losses, their tragedies, and their self-reflections to be better than they were before. As for Revan... I hope we may see a series or even a film about Revan and see his story unfold before our eyes on-screen instead of just as words or images on a comic.

If I were Revan and watching innocents get killed for blood sport, I’d be pissed, too. The Jedi could’ve prevented Revan from turning if they’d been more active, but then we wouldn’t have gotten this badass Sith Lord.
That's easy: under Qui-gon, Qui-gon and Anakin would have gone to rescue Padme immediately, leveraging Anakin's services to Naboo and Padme for the financial aid to secure her freedom as well as a new home on Naboo. With her secure, Anakin would have been raised with an effective father figure who would teach him to listen to the living force. They would occasionally dodge assassin's from Palpatine. Without the death fi Qui-gon, Dooku, would not have fallen, and if Sidieous revealed himself as a Sith Lord, and revealed himself, I then Dooku would have fought Sidieous. Whatever the outcome Sidieous would die or be be made much weaker. Assuming Sidieous loves, the Clone wars would be delayed without the clones being ordered. In such a case Anakin would have more time to train and mature under Qui-gon. If you delay the Clone wars by a decade, and assuming star wars humans develope at the same rate as real humans, the Anakin would serve the Light well into full brain developement around age 27. Ultimately Anakin would not formally be a member of the Jedi, so his marriage to Padme would not be limited. The two of them would work a lifetime together passing Senate reforms to reduce corruption and meet the needs of the outer systems. It may result in a peaceful splintering of the Republic anyway. Their kids would be raised as diplomatically and trained in the ways of the Force and their political dynasty would help ensure generations of continued peace. Palpatine facing a self actualized Anakin would be killed, end of story.
