Ive got a diamond largemouth at the bridge you showed for sturgeon on a size 6 popper
The spot from gold sauger mission is good for farming xp, once you get mission with lure it tells you can switch to float/size 7 hook and minnow with 1m float depth,catch silver/gold sauger every cast at night

Got my first gold yesterday it was a cutthroat trout at 8lbs
Caught a diamond bluegill randomly at the catfish and yellow perch pond ( was fishing for a gold catfish)
This. Game would ok of it had the slightest amount of realism but unfortunately its total fantasy.
I saw a fish on the shore it looked like a shark I went to walk up to it it floated away I still wonder what it was to this day this was when I first started

i got my first Gold rank Tiger Muskie at the dam area with a size6 spoon

That lake trout spot is probably a good place to use a crankbait. On the deep lakes it cant dive enough but a 12m deep bit it will hit the bottom
Edit: you dont have to wait for it to sink then, saving time

@@cjothehunter i tried it, still doesnt quite reach the bottom. I miscalculated. 88 feet is 20 meters not 12

The first musky spot at the dam also has bass
I'm not sure if its a glitch, but missions go inactive after I select them on the mission select screen. Maybe somebody can help with this? I'm playing on console. Best! Great video!

@accentt2868 I did get this fixed, but I'm not sure how. It's just started working a few days ago. I've found lots of my problems are fixed if I connect to the internet.

I usto fish at a dam just like IRL here in Pittsburgh Pa until the cops threatened to fine me $250 for trespassing on private property 🤷🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️😂 usto catch massive catfish in there using liver..

You earned a sub from me lol. I'm not a fisherman IRL but having fun with the game. Personally I found it helpful to do the tutorial and the tackle academy. I'm stuck on the last expert...catch a gold. Although I've earnt loadsa cash from silvers but the gold is eluding me. I'm going to try the hints in this vid to finish that academy lol. That first spot the dam I caught a lot of gold Muskie with a size 2 hook and a minnow
I've caught gold muskie off of 5 size jerkbait
I recently caught a 49.95 pound lake trout out of that same location.
The first spot also has large out got a gold there like 10th cast trying for musky
Lake trouts get to over 45 lbs👍 they use to be much easier to catch lol

Less than a week ago was at Level 24, thanks to your excellent videos. Today I'm at level 36, THANKS AGAIN. I have a question. Is there any limit to the amount of markers you're allowed on a map. Last night, I was not permitted to place any more markers.
Yes there is a limit I think itz around 40 maybe , and thank you for watching the video buddy
Hello mate. Have you ever noticed that an alternative cast is possible by pressing R1? I've never heard it mentioned in any vids. It results in a short sidearm cast of only approx 30 yds.. I found it by accident.
Yes I play it on PC so we just click right mouse button

This will probably sound ridiculous to most of y’all but I have a question… I can’t seem to figure out how I lost my fishing pole. It says it’s in my backpack but how do I take it out so that I can use it? I literally a new beginner at this😬
go to the map screen and at the top one of the options is "rods" from there you can make sure your rod is fully equipped. than you can pull it up with the "y" button on x-box controller. also by numbers 1-5 on keyboard

If your fishing for a night time fish in the day lower your depth to the bottom as the wont be feeding at the top it works for me ive caught countless fish in the day when they are night fish with this
