Just wanted to say I’m an old guy. I started watching your videos when I started playing The Hunter. Almost 800 hours of playing , I took a break to start The Angler. Absolutely love how detailed you are in all your videos. They help a lot . Thanks for sharing your experience with all of us.
Thank you for this. Got it on PS 5 on release. Soo far one of the best fishing games i have ever played. Would nice to see a kind of trophy room but with aquariums. Keep up the good work with all the videos. Peace from sweden

there are some journal mission that should steer you to there supposed location,though only ever caught three since I started playing last week.
When you get to the gold sauger mission, if you go over to the bridge with a small hook and blood worms you can get them there
I’ve Seen A Bunch Of Diamond Sunfish At That First Lake You Showed As Well. It’s Definitely Better For Perch, Though. You Could Also Try Using Minnows On The Size 7 Hooks If You Want Some Really Good Sunfish And Bluegill. I’ve Caught A Lot Of Golds On Them.
Edit: I’d Also Recommend Doing The Taylor’s Tackle Missions So You Get A Nice Rod At The End. It Allows You To Catch Bigger Fish Like Bass, Walleye, Catfish, And Muskie.

See I cannot catch anything on that lake. I've tried for 2 real life days when im able to play. I've seen them swim by. I have a bunch of blood worms. But yeah I'm not having any luck

At the second spot I have caught 2 gold tiger muskies so far and countless pike and bass it is a great spot! All of the fish I caught there I used a size 7 hook with a minow

Tip to xp grind if anyone needs: Put a size 5 hook or bigger and head to where you catch rainbow trout. And have fun. Bites left and right
Gotta give him props, went to first location, size 7 hook with bloodworm. literally my first catch there within a minute was a 2.05lb diamond perch.
What size jig hook did you use with the Tube for the gold crappie?

Hey crow are you having issues with the crossplatform and multiplayer games cause here on console I’m having issues… it’s not putting me in a multiplayer game when I load into the map and can’t join my friends through apex connect
Surprisingly its because they had more players get the game than they expected. Theres more players right now than they had servers for so they are getting that expanded soon hopefully!

I love this game but sometimes the daily and weekly challenges don't count. It's like I'm on a dead server...any help?
Servers are overloaded from the massive influx of new players. Its causing challenges to be delayed and buggy. They are working on fixing it
Thanks for these tips I got to around lvl 10 with just exploring and finding stuff, I've been up to this first spot you show now and been catching some nice catfish which got me up to lvl 14 in about an hour 😬 deffo need to save up for aome better gear though
Awesome man! Yea the early levels are the hardest but once you get some decent gear it gets better
Recently found a really good walleye hot spot for 3 golds and a diamond in less than 5 min

How do you change the time on the angler
You wait or close the game and join a new server when logging in. Takes a moment for time to change on log in.
It's good stuff crow I am on my PS4 and it's been several days and I have yet to see a single gold or diamond at either lake so idk what is going on
It can take time! Golds are not as easy on here as they are on the hunter
@@ScarecrowTheHunter oh I definitely know I have found only a few in other places then them besides the mission gold before finding northern pike and did you get the free Norway rod in that reserve

Its buggy atm cause of the servers being overloaded. They had way more people get the game than they expected so theres more players than their servers can handle. Once they add more servers it will get better!

The first location you go to,i've caught diamond yellow perch,diamond bluegill,and nice gold catfish. I've caught a diamond sauger,and burbot at the dam. Hope this helps everyone. If anyone could do videos on exactly what to do to catch diamons regularly? I dont have alot of time to play games,i kinda need help.
How long do people wait between bites? Caught one gold Perch but seems alot of real life time is passing and haven't had a bite. Should it change cast location or keep waiting? Perch are jumping by my bobber. But not hitting

Tryna get a second diamond crappie for weekly challenge, got the first one on a 10 hook.😝 Yeah, I def make sure to match line and reel with max line strength of each rod, to achieve balance for better performance. Really a game changer, coz lines are far less likely to snap.
Caught 2 diamonds largemouth like 5 minutes apart on either the green or res crank bait out of the same spot.
They were by the bridge on the starting lake where you have to do one of the bait store missions

Graphics are a bit better than the hunter & time can be seen on the map in the bottom left
I was fishing pretty often in Real life if yoj go for big Catfish or Sturgeon I use a size 6/0 hook wondering if there will be more updates with these size hooks and really heavy fish maybe like an ocean map or something would be even more fun for me
I personnally pulled out 3 diffrent gold and dimond fish out of the second location its one of my favorits even got a dimond european pike there

I’m only on level nine and I’ve already caught two silver walleyes in one gold and two daytime sturgeon
ive been playing for 2 days now, and ive noticed something the game is missing....snags, i wish there was a chance of snagging weeds or logs, and then there is another chance that your line snaps and you lose your rigs (hook, bait, bobber, lure) and same thing for fish breaking your line
For real I also wish they had snags and whatnot
