  • EDIT: Turns out it was a problem with the ebay radiator I bought to replace my damaged OEM radiator. New used OEM radiator and all issues went away.

    FYI replacing the ebay radiator shown in the video and going to a new (used off ebay) OEM radiator fixed this issue for me. Before you try that or anything else make sure all air bubbles are purged from the system. Hope this helps someone.

      @@petrosanteschos5469 The aluminum one in the video was a new from china radiator. I replaced it with a used original Honda radiator. Avoid chinese radiators!

      Do you know why this happened? I think I have a bike doing similar stuff. Was there coolant leaking from the overflow?

    I'm seeing the same stuff.
    Just to understand why would bad radiator cause those bubbles ?

    Hi I have an aftermarket radiator as well on my 06 cbr but I’m having a slightly different problem. the system creates a lot of pressure (popped 3 of the coolant hoses 3 different times) and returns the coolant to the resuviour when hot, it also boiles and bubbles in the coolant resuviour it shoots coolant and smoke out of a breather hose by the kickstand im thinking my issue could be more of a bad head gasket please anyone let me know what the think. thank you.

    I have a 03 Cbr 600rr and it smokes coke from exhaust only at night but goes away after a minute and a half. might it be just vapor since I leave my bike outside and when I come back to it my seat is wet(temp is 60 degrees)

    Change the cylinder gasket and valve seal and check the diameter of the valve. Replace it if damage.

    That's interesting considering it was only a radiator.
    Was it consuming coolant?

    • @patrick7985
      @patrick7985  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not a significant amount but I didn't ride it much when it was doing that.

    Now try it with Real Coolant. Water boils at 212F. Coolant will smell were it leaks.

    What makes you think it's a blown head gasket? Looks like you have air in the system. Useful videos on here to show you how to burp the coolant.

    • @patrick7985
      @patrick7985  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I thought it was blown HG because constant bubbles is a symptom of that. Also could have simply been air in system but the bubbles never went away. Anyway bike is gone now.

    I found out my Suzuki gsxr 600 had milky oil and idle high then cut off there’s no oil leaks can anyone help and tell me what I should do?

    • @patrick7985
      @patrick7985  ปีที่แล้ว

      Milky oil means coolant/water is getting into the oil. Could be from a blown head gasket but if you are lucky there is something else like a bad water pump or oil cooler that is leaking coolant into the oil. You can google troubleshooting steps for bad head gasket. Good luck.
