Cross play is the savior feature!? It’s a nice to have and benefits PC players most but it’s far from a ground breaking innovation that would “save” the franchise.
It has to be a good game. This is there last year under a contract deal with NFL so if it’s bad the NFL might not sign the deal and that means other people can makes football games
That’s never going to happen it would take to long and people wouldn’t want to block they would want to get the ball because they don’t know the people that’s dumb just do 3on 3 or 5 on 5
They play games with 100+ players and tons of mechanics and building, the game would handle it fine, you just don't understand the capabilities of todays gaming
The problem is, they've been adding more and more things every year without polishing what they need to. And they've known they can get a away w/ it because it's not like we can play any other NFL game, because they own the rights. Honestly, hope Madden 24 is bad so we can have a different company try to make a game, imagine seeing another 2KNFL game.

Honestly madden 23 was better than the last 2 maddens 22 franchise was literally busted and buggy my save data on 22 would constantly corrupt and was a problem for many people and 21 was just whatever it wasn’t horrible but wasn’t great either i think madden 23 on next gen is one of the best madden’s in a long time but i’m also mainly a franchise player so probably depends on were you are spending your time
LOL found this out yesterday on a short similar to this and it’s just funny because my friend got a Ps5 for Christmas so that he could play with us and now he would be able to either way
They gon need a LOT more than that to make up for the gameplay, mechanics, luck based animations, CPU beaters everyone and their mom uses, and all around dumb asf defense that doesn’t learn the same exact play they run(I’ve had someone use the same play over and over and someone was always open no matter what coverage I did, who id cover, etc). It doesn’t skill for madden anymore, you’re actually punished more than anything if you try actually playing the game and not using the same OP plays over and over.

23 wasn't the worst Madden ever. 06 on XBOX 360 was. Or Madden 96 on PS1 since it was so broken it never released. Anyway, crossplay is worthless when the game on the field is a POS.
I feel like people expect too much off of sports games because they come out with the same game every year because there’s only so much that happens in technology growth from year to year And sometimes companies don’t wanna completely rewrite the mechanics to a game just add one feature that may not even work properly

Soooo…. How does crossplay fix a game that is broken to the core? A game that is driven SOLELY off of animations that don’t work/make sense half of the time? Or how about how abilities just make or break the game and become a half ass cop out from the developers?
But cross play is only good for current gen. Old gen has missing formations that are meta; ability to adjust match coverage, the new play call info……. I’m on old gen because my series x hdmi port got chipped and I’ll be back on series x but this won’t be any fun for old gen IF They do it
