No brainer. Semiconductor and AI stocks will dominate 2024. Why I prefer NVIDIA is that they are better placed to maintain long term growth potential, and provide a platform for other AI companies. I have made more than 200% ROI from NVIDIA with the assistance of my fa, I won’t fail to mention. I agree the stock would go higher in the next couple of days.

That's a great analogy and I love the insight. Professionals could make a really big difference in investing, and I think everyone should have one. There are aspects of market trend that is difficult for the untrained eyes to see. I have made more than 350% through semiconductor stocks under coach by alternative investing. The portfolio comes with perks as well in terms of travel and liquidity.

Risk mitigation is indeed something to consider well before setting out on inveestments. Most often than not, CFAs take care of this perfectly. People downplay the role of CFAs until being burnt by their own instincts. I was in a similar situation a few years ago; Took my chances but stocks went crashing. Realizing I wasn't good at timing the market, I started working with an Adviser, which helped me build a $1.6m portfolio.

NVIDIA has a large lead on AMD for AI. AMD hasn’t even released AI for consumer gaming yet. NVIDIA is already using its third iteration of DLSS for a while. NVIDIA AI compute products are expensive but they can replace many older systems and reduce energy cost substantially. Or if you are creating new data centers and need AI compute. The latest NVIDIA AI compute products and services take up much less space.
As much as AMD has stollen market share from Intel in the custom PC market. Intel still dominates the PC Laptop market. Intel’s biggest competitor in PC laptop market will be Qualcomm. ARM based CPUs are just way more power efficient than x86. Intel’s future is becoming an alternative to TSMC once their new Arizona FAB comes online.
NVIDIA, Apple, Google, and AMD would be nothing without TSMC making their chips.

    • @portman8909

And where's Nvidia's CPU? You need a CPU for the GPU to work.

    • @Gichie79
      @Gichie79 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Well, if you want to argue the company at the core is king TSMC would be nothing without ASML. Which making the lithography machines for TSMC to buy to then run their fabrication, so ASML is the true king. However, take this further now ASML has 5000 suppliers for them to build just one lithography machine, so they aren’t the king the collective of their suppliers are.
But if Nvidia and the rest weren’t here to design the semiconductor. There would be no need to then have a TSMC which essentially just prints for them using machines they bought from ASML which they just assembled from parts they ordered from 5000 different companies.
The designers are the core not the people you hire to make the product for you.

Chip-maker Nvidia became the world’s most valuable company after its share price climbed to an all-time high on Tuesday.
It is now worth $3.34tn (£2.63tn), with the price having nearly doubled since the start of this year.
The stock ended the trading day at nearly $136, up 3.5%, making it more valuable than fellow tech giant Microsoft. It overtook Apple earlier this month.
The Californian company's meteoric rise has been fuelled by its dominance of what analysts call the "new gold or oil in the tech sector" - the chips needed for artificial intelligence (AI).

NVIDIA is basically driving the forefront on AI by selling advanced chips and GPUs for AI datacenters. This because AI requires high performance computing. In a nutshell, they're selling chips so that companies can devlop AI products.

NVIDIA had an AMAZING run, however their products are extremely expensive and the stock is over priced. If you haven't already purchased NVIDIA then you've long missed the boat for buying in. They are the Gods of graphics cards but the competition will also bring a great profit if you buy in at the right time.

We’re back in “the 90’s” of tech. Watch this bubble burst. If I’m this situation Innovation truly outweighs valuation then this might not be a bubble. I don’t think that’s what’s happening. The competition in Ai is promising. But it could also be a cash grab before the bubble bursts.

NVIDIA know gaming and they understand what price range to sell their graphic cards when ATI Radeon was the undefeated top champion with their expensive Radeon graphic card 9700 pro. To sell a expensive graphic card like Radeon 9700 is a no brainer because Pentium 4 is a single core when these custoers who bought their first desktop want durable pc and can lasts long until the next generation of CPU arrived like the dual & quad core. NVIDIA sell cheap budget graphic cards like mx series to poor people and mid range card like titanium series to gamers who are first time buyer and capturing the hearts 💕🥰 of millions of gamers although NVIDIA must earn less. NVIDIA Must earn less because that time errr NVIDIA unable to produce that kind of graphic card like Radeon 9700.

And the crypto market is expected to do way better than any other equity sectors this 2024 especially with the SEC crypto ETF approval but it’s a volatile market nevertheless and if you’re new to it, it’s best to reach out to an experienced adviser for proper guidance.

Well if the fundamentals are good, and NVIDIA is delivering high PROFITABILITY, (grew Net Income by 728% last quarter), then you will see that the stockprice is not rising as fast, and the company is becoming cheaper. For what it is doing, it deserves the multiple (PE Ratio) of 500 or more!

Both stocks have a long term potential. The most important thing is the ratio of the distribution based on the financials of each company. There are many other companies that are also doing well. You could just hire a financial advisor to guide you.
