It’s not about how helpful this feature is or not. It’s small details like these that are just good to know which makes the game feel more polished and alive. Last week I didn’t know in Monstad if you walk up to the antique shop and stand there for 3 to 5 seconds you can hear a little music box by the door.

zhongli's basic attack string, and charged attack also shows up as geo infused but isn't.
this is because during beta he was half physical and half geo, and his petrify debuff originally shredded 20% phys and geo.

That makes sense, when I first saw his animations, I thought the ones that used his "vortex vanquisher" (e.g. the spear kick and his charged attack) would be geo

No... he's one to summon a weapon like the other characters, it's not an infusion.
Eula creates a sword from ice, Tartaglia that makes hydro swords, Keqing and her electro weapon during burst, Shinobu and her E sword, Itto with him creating a rock club.
Back to my point, it is not an infusion, if you are going to look at it closely, it looks like a medical spear that is within Vortex's and Petra's design.

If you use the Elemental Sight on a Seelie statue, it will show you the basic direction where you can find the Seelie as well

@@isegeese Yeah, though it did bugged for me for the luxurious chest in Vanarana where you have to bring 3 seelies, one of them wasn't pointing in the right direction

The Diluc Candace vape combo is…quite vicious
Meh, just use xingqui and you don't lose out on pyro hits from diluc, plus you get bonus Hydro attacks. Candace is flop

i saw a very interesting article in HoYoLab about this! basically, the skill that applies an infusion is actually applying an element to the weapon the same way enemies inflict elemental statuses on us. there's no element priority here but each skill has their own refresh duration (for candace i think her burst infuses your weapon with hydro every 0.5s, while dilucs burst inflicts pyro every 1s, so hydro wins out in the end)
If you climb one of the windows of Diona's bar at night (the one with all the cats), and let your character stay there, you'll hear the sound of plates being used and people talking.
Now I’m curious what Keqing’s sword would look like with Chongyun’s, Candace’s and C6 Bennett’s infusions all applied to her blade at once, along with her skill infusion.

cryo wins. electro is overshadowed by all of them, so pyro beats electro, hydro beats pyro, and then cryo beats hydro.
That's cool how they alternate like that, it provides a good handful of opportunities to increase your damage through the Vaporize Elemental Reaction✨

Also, if the weapon is infused with both Hydro and Cryo at the same time then it actually becomes frozen.( Basically the weapon looks like it has been covered by a translucent layer of ice).
I don't use vision for such purpose. 😂 Most of the time I use them in ruins, or in cities even, where chests camouflage with the surroundings.
Also vision sights help to see which wall, floor and odd totem you can interact with (they're greyish colour when you view them through vision, means they're interactive. Otherwise they just darken in vision sight)
It works on your character as well- if you are affected with hydro, pyro, cryo, electro, or any other element, using elemental sight will highlight you the color of the element you are infused with

The infusions sound like Symbiotes trying to take control from their host.
I've seen it before, you can also see your character affected by any element, for ex:- your character appears bluish if it's raining and you're "WET".
Okay, but why are some of Zhonglis Auto-Attacks Geo-Colored without being Geo-Damage?
Because they're constructs, if you look at Zhongli's auto attacks a lot of his attacks are with a different spear compared to the one that's actually equipped

Apparently his normal attacks were supposed to deal geo damage, but they changed it somewhere along the way. Maybe thats the reason?

Elemental sight is also very useful to see interract-able objects in various ruins where device models might be reused - especially useful in the newest desert ruins to see which doors are yet to be opened, or which primal torches still need lighting up
my fav ES use was highlighting the tablets in desert... it might be just me, but I kept running past them without noticing any until I would found an obelisk to highlight them...

I mean, if you ever turn on elemental sight and watch Tartaglia's idle animation where he brings out his bow and Hydro swords, you'll see the Hydro swords light up blue while his bow lights up white because it's an "interactive" object that's not infused with any element. I think they really did put attention to detail into elemental sight like this.
I think they wanted us to use elemental sight more than we actually do.
- Starshrooms light up green because you can do Dendro reactions to them by hitting them with Electro and Pyro.
- The big lens things at the tops of the watchtowers in Sumeru's rainforest light up green for Dendro too because you're meant to use Electro on them to search for Aranara.
- Ducks light up blue because they're technically wet.
- Torches, campfires, and cooking pots that have no fire will light up white, and if you light them on fire, then they'll glow red.
Etc.

@@RandomGirl119 yeah also elemental sight saved my life in the desert ruins tbh, thanks to ES I managed to see which walls would open up/disappear and which wouldn't or if that large stone pile thing could be destroyed or not which saved a lot of time for me
@@noorhamdi1579 Honestly, I found out about using Electro on lenses by accident. I think there was one tower that had a hilichurl archer or something at the top, and I needed to reactivate Raiden's elemental skill. The lens lit up, and I got text on the screen that said there was an Aranara hiding nearby, and I was like "Wait what??"
Also, I used elemental sight in the ruins too, to figure out if there was an elevator or a door I could open.
Also, you can use it to see whether is the object you are facing is something that can be moved, destroyed, or interacted with or just a decoration, like the rocks the Ruin Golem needs to break for you, or any sort of door/gate that can be opened due to an interaction with something, or even npcs.
This might actually happen with Bennett C6, too. I didn't use Elemental Sight to see, but while testing Candace + Bennett, I noticed Candace's infusion had priority, but in just one instance in the middle of the burst duration it dealt one hit of pyro DMG. Maybe a similar thing was happening to what happened with Diluc.
It's not about dominant elements but about infusion refresh rate, hence why Kazuha can swirl off his own weapon.
Tick rate is insufficient to explain this. Bennett C6 + Chongyun will consistently result in a pyro infusion. There is some form of elemental dominance but it's intransitive. Pyro > Cryo; Cryo > Hydro; Hydro > Pyro.
It's theorized that elemental infusion logic has similar logic with self-applied elemental aura, having gauges and reacting. Whichever element has a gauge remaining will dominate. The an infusion tick just reapplies the element.
Diluc apparently just have a really high tick rate which gives his infusion a chance to gain temporary dominance over Candace's.
@@denki2558 there's elemental infusion priority charts available, you can look them up, the priority only changes when you use the mc, otherwise the priority is consistent with all other characters.

for anyone wondering; quick videogame explanation. this is not a bug, the game recognize both elemental infusions (Diluc's and Candace's) at the same time, and since one elemental infusion can't discard the other, it instead overlaps. but even thought both elemental infusion are active they can't function together, so the game changes the elemental infusion with something called "ticks"; which are the seconds a game uses to process information based on the internet's velocity. tick number 1 has Candace's infusion, then tick number 2 has Diluc's infusion, then 3 has hydro again, 4 has pyro and so on until one of the infusions ends. in the case of genshin this happens every time there is more than one elemental infusion active, you can try this with Ayaka and c6 Bennett for example, but keep in mind that if you don't have a good internet connection, the trick could fail. if you random person read this until this point, thanks c:
edit: also, the ticks are present everytime in all videogames, even if a game doesn't require wi-fi (ofc works different in that case). however this is a very simple way to understand how ticks work
I didn't know that! Though, I did know elemental sight has small details that the devs have thought of, like how Tartaglia's Hydro weapons light up blue in elemental sight even if it's during his idle animation.
it can also see elemental reactions, like frozen weapons in chongyun+candace infusions. It looks so cool and fun to mess with infusions
Did you know that blinking color in the end is the application window for pyro infusion? It works as it blink it applies new elemental gauges
Im not sure if it was a feature back then but elemental sight can show you the name of enemies now

i don't think it's a hierarchy or a "domination" of infusions, i think it's just a matter of which infusion gets applied the fastest. there might be some overlap depending on the character granting the infusion(s) but that doesn't necessarily mean a hierarchy. it's not just one infusion getting applied forever either, infusions can "take turns" applying themselves
Also for competing infusions, Candace's Hydro infusion + any Cryo infusion also freezes weapons.
if you use elemental vision next to a seelie court you can see the direction of where the seelie is too
you can see the element status on your player too. for example, wet status you will be blue and if youre burning itll be red. not so sure abt the other elements

I saw someone explaining the weapon infusion with other elements, it seems like weapons can also be affected by reactions, and thus hitting for different elements on various attacks with the same character

In the recent event, I used Candace and Diluc, but it mostly self-proc'd vape.
I'm not sure, it's probably bugged but they might be the first double infusion.
You can also see an element if your character is either burning, wet, frozen, or struck by lightning tho I haven't seen a dendro one 😭

Btw you can freeze ur weapon using chongyun and candace infusion. Weapons on Elem infusion can do reactions

Infusion actually works like repeatable application with fast speed, you can actually do 3 infusions on ayaka, and after sprint if you do fast hit you will have cryo infusion for one hit even with candace and c6 bennett applyed
The weapon's trail effect also is a tell tale on what is active as well! But you probably knew this if you have an infusion character! Which there are a lot 🙃
Yeah, I've seen it with a video of Itto's charged attacks, showing the difference between Cryo infusion from Chongyun, Pyro infusion from C6 Bennett, and Geo infusion from his own burst. It's a neat little attention to detail.
The blinking is interesting, since infusion has a gauge it's always the same when you repeat it, but the blinking makes it look more like a random occurrence
I use elemental sight to look for mechanism/puzzles and also to check the robots will wake up or not.
Did you know you actually FREEZE your weapon if you're infused with cryo and hydro at the same weapon, your weapon actually gets applied with "Frozen" status. Very cool to see aswell!

And if you use elemental sight on Heizou, his jitte (stick thing on his waist) actually doesn't highlighted like the rest of Heizou
i think the color blinks because infusions do have time activation (eg: every 0.5 sec)
Nice video, i actually didn't know about this one. Its probably just a visual bug, but one that makes sense in the context. So "it's not a bug, it's a feature"
Candace's infusion can't be rewritten because it is cost by her Q. Chungyun, Keqing, Ayaka cancel each other because it is just E or active skill. Bennett's C6 burst can be cancelled because it's it is not originally part of his kit.

Yeah you can see the elemental effect on virtually anything that has an influence of any element.
Also, when infusing, the element that's applied later gets used when attacking but elemental vision always shows the first element. That's what is happening with Diluc in the clip, same goes with every other char.

I mainly use elemental sight for exploration because things you can interact with light up. It certainly makes it easier to spot nearby scarabs in Sumeru's accursed desert.
Ayaka c6 bennett and candace and u can change between cryo pyro and hydro in the same attack string and repeat by using ayaka's dash

The Theory is like This
As We All Know Pyro + Hydro = Hydro will Be Dominant Element, thats why it will most of the time be Hydro Infusion
But theres a Catch The Pyro Infusion and Hydro Infusion can do Elemental Reactions So yea Its like Vaporizing an Enemy but with your weapon

Bro i didnt know about this and i recently found out using elemental sight on enemies[whilst i havent tried it on other enemies i have tried it with hilichurls and matachurls while doing the festival quest] it just literally shows the enemies names and not level i think people probably knows this already but i just found out 😭💀

I somehow realized this myself using a candace and Diluc combo
also it can use when standing infront of torch stone
From what I know Diluc infusion were weaker than Bennett let us it 1 infusion point(IP) Bennett C6 and Candace infusion are 2 IP if you use both c6 Bennett and Candace burst you will deal normal physical damage (2 pyro point - 2hydro point)
aka. the way only you fix your C6 Bennett
But if you also use diluc burst pyro infusion point will be 3 to hydro 2 point

Hydro: NAH SCREW YOU I DO MORE DAMAGE!!!
Cryo: YEAH F*CK YOU PYRO!!
