Wow! Your trip out had me holding my breath. I loved your set-up and the fact your tent had a sturdy groundsheet. Camping without one in the rain just conveys alot of mucking about undercover - miserable even to watch. It was great to see your phone could provide you with some entertainment and you could cook indoors, which added to the coziness of your tent. Heck, you were really living it up in a (polyester) 5 star hotel! Well done, Sir!
Love watching your videos, I’m off to the lakes this weekend. One that might be a bit closer to home, not difficult but could make an interesting video. Rivington Pike, Pigeon Tower, Rivington Terrace Gardens & Rivington Castle. I’m pretty sure there’s a planned route to do them all. Great video as always

You should venture out to Shropshire, there’s some awesome wild camps to be had there…Caer Caradoc or the Long Mynd in Church Stretton (little Switzerland) as it’s nicknamed is well worth the time.

You don’t need a great deal of water for the boil in the bags mate, just enough to stop the bag melting to the bottom and then the steam cooks it nicely. Another great video

I tried camping on Llyn glas 2 weeks ago. It was literally like a sponge though 🤣 so camped just above it. Camped there back last summer though,it's a lovely little spot. Good video 👍
Yeah it was pretty much a sponge when I got there but just went for it anyway, couldn’t be arsed even thinking about camping elsewhere 😂

Great video Liam, I can imagine that place is stunning in the summer time! Not sure if you've already been but Lambfoot Dub in the lakes is a lovely little spot if you've not been there yet.
I once walked up there when I was coming back down corridor route, but somebody was already pitched so I left them to it.. i’ve marked it on my map for future reference!

Proper spot, even in those soggy conditions it's beautiful.
The Soulo bathtub floor is sturdy though and easily handles it.

I wondered whether the stones would remain accessible...tricky after the full night rain.
One thing I wonder about, are so-called 'gourmet' dehydrated meals from US brand 'Pinnacle Foods'.
They are expensive, as in restaurant prices and pretty posh given all alternatives.
Haven't tried them myself (being pretty far from posh) but I wonder if they really offer a 'wow, this is actually incredibly tasty and totally worth it' experience.
Never gone beyond familiar stuff like Firepot.
If you come across it, I wouldn't mind a review.
