I don't know why, but I really enjoy watching a reorganization videos. I love when a chaos turns into an order (and become a chaos again after some time). This is like changing seasons, never ending circle. Very metaphoric and a bit philosophical.
Reminds me that I really need to continue reorganizing my art space. I’ve made good progress, then life happened and the craft piles have continued to build up again 😅 I hope your „create“ sign is coming back, too!
This makes me want a nice dedicated art space someday! I have a tote that is now like 4 totes to haul around and put away every time I want to work on something. I also loveeeee the way your hubby did the lighting and cords!!

Time-saving suggestion if you ever have to paint a room like that again. Get one of those electric paint sprayers. They're less than a $100, they make paint stretch much further, and it makes the job so much quicker and easier!
There is something very satisfying about watching someone organise all their creative supplies :) I hope the new layout and organisation helps you to work better. I'd love to have a dedicated space to be creative in but sadly just don't have the room. Maybe one day!

You go, girl!! 👏👏 What an ambitious job, especially after a tumble!! 👍 Agreed, those kids usually pop up and keep going! 😲 For me, it hurts immediately, but 2 days later, sometimes, it is worse! 😂 You did an amazing job in two weeks!! 🤗😍 Bravo!! 🎉🎉 The only thing I would recommend is to paint those canvas totes so you have something lovely to look at, and that makes you smile! 🥰

I have units flat packed from IKEA lying on the spare bedroom floor and have been for months. I need hubbys help to get them assembled.. maybe this year it will get done 😀

@@aussiecrafter totally yeah! I loved that video. Just recently I had a similar experience where I tried swatching different ways but didn't find a lot of inspiration on Pinterest. And boom your video popped up, thanks for the ideas there. Loved them all!
The worst part is always the lights and their stands. They all have huge footprints. It's much better with a lot of your things hanging from the ceiling. I hate hate hate all the cords and cables. My desk has so many cords and cables for my computer and for camera and lights and all that. It doesn't really matter what I do, there will always be more than I would like. I try and hide a lot behind the monitor, but it's never perfect, since I just have a lot of equipment that I need.
That's a pretty cool room. I've brought some alcohol markers from office works called born to create also known as born they are awesome got 60 in a box for 35 bucks 😃 kmart has 168 alcohol markers for 59 bucks didn't realise until few days ago should of went to kmart 😂
I have the born ones too but didn't use them much too be honest as shortly after getting them I got the OHUHU and I prefer the brush tip. Wouldn't mind testing the KMART ones 🤔
That’s such a great room now! It’s giving me a little boost for cleaning up my own crafting room. I’m glad you’re inspired to be doing some sculpting!

That was just the palette the water colours came in. I do however use silicone ice cube moulds as paint palettes.

I highly recommend an electric screw driver with hex bits for flat packs. Makes it way easier. Oh, and a glass of wine helps too 😉
