You’re either born again or you are not. There’s no back & forth. Once saved, we’re regenerated from the inside & our salvation isn’t something we can undo. It’s important for believers to understand this truth. We might wrestle with some aspects of theology but the Lord will graciously help us walk through doubts & give us the clarity we need.

Deconstructing is the greatest tragedy in the modern era, Jesus is real and alive and loves each and every one of us so so much that he as an immortal being humbled himself enough to die so you can live forever and he proved it by raising from the dead proving he is who he says he is.
”But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.“

You have to go into the wilderness sometimes to strengthen your faith. Often if you grew up in Christian way of life and never question it, you are put in this layer of protection from the reality of the world. You can say it is a form of blind faith because you follow a faith you don't even know why you follow it. God wants true followers and not a bunch of yes men that don't even know why you are following him. This is why so many fall away because they follow a religion that their parents grew up in and never actually seek God for themselves. I was in that wilderness until God revealed who he is. He exists in other historical facts that aren't written in the bible. If you're ever in doubt, check out Chinese characters depicting the Book of Genesis event and Three historical facts of Jesus Birth, death and resurrection in the Han Dynasty Astronomy record. These are historical facts which many Christians overlook. But God is there if you need answers and strengthen your faith.

This video came just at the right time! Praise the Lord. I've been experiencing this doubt after watching way to many videos on either side of the debate whilst simultaneously wrestling with my personal experiences. This has without a doubt made me firmer in my faith again. Ive also seen demonic presences and have been going through an absolute wave of depression over the last year. The Lord is faithful and he has stuck through it with me for every waking moment. I love Jesus. My comment is not a joke. This is my real experience, this is genuinely the most relatable and faith restoring video i have seen in ages. The videos would say im hallucinating and im delusional.

"Almost" is the key word there. You didn't feel the full impact of leaving so you only have half the story. Ask anyone who HAS left. LEAVING, actual leaving is hard, very hard. It's not something we wished for ourselves. We mostly didn't WANT to. But it was inevitable. Once you see the truth about Christianity, you can't unsee it. If you turn back, you choose untruths to live by. "Almost leaving" is like being "a little bit pregnant." That's not a possibility.

You didn’t see the truth about Christianity, you realized that you were believing a counterfeit and you were finally honest with yourself that it wasn’t real. If it were real and you walked away then again it’s not the Christianity that was not real but your own ambitions and loves for other things not related to Christianity.
Let’s not assume that you are an authority in knowing true Christianity either way.

The video with Rhett's deconstruction was that he was basing his faith on objective evidence, trying to intellectualize his belief, that it ended up failing him The problem is the evidence he is looking for is experienced in the subjective experiences where data can't be collected nor can be measured. His faith was not centered on God, but rather in the certainty of him being correct about God. Once that came into question and challenged, deconstruction occurred. A lot of people are going through this for the similar reasons. However, if God is centered in one's faith, reconstruction will happen.

It becomes impossible to be honest with yourself and sincerely believe. I have become abandoned to face the truth alone. It's as if my mistake was being genuine and having too much faith. They act like I gave up when they are the ones who refuse to take a step forward. It's heartbreaking. Their fear of the unknown is greater than the love they claim we shared for each other. So now here I am exiled, in search of righteousness as I have been from the very beginning

Respectufully, no matter what you believe about partaking in the Lord's Supper (and I do think it's important as a Christian), it does not replace who Jesus is. Im guessing the insinuation is that I would be lying or are you saying I would be mistaken? Also I think you’re asking the wrong question. Even if someone told you they heard or saw God they still couple be lying. You need to be searching for physical evidence that can be attested by several sources, primarily miracles. Do your research. See if there are peer reviewed medical journals where the doctors admit to medical miracles after people prayer to Jesus… hint hint there’s a lot of them.
However if you’re approaching this question as a Christian who doesn’t believe God speaks or shows up to people today then I would say do what I stated above plus search the scriptures to see if we should still expect these things today… hint hint we should.

His sheep absolutely do hear his voice.
When I preach the gospel.. It's not actually me that is preaching, so you either hear his voice or you do not.
[2Co 13:3 KJV] Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you.
So who is speaking? Not I.
[Gal 2:20 KJV] I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

From that way of thinking there has been a lot of church deception when people say “ God told me”! That’s a very bold claim to say God told you something outside of scripture because if you are wrong you are speaking falsely about God and slandering him saying he said something to you that he did not say. I do agree because we are his sheep we hear his word from scripture, most certainly but not in an audible way. God spoke to people through the prophets and later threw Jesus Christ.
