Appreciate the ministry of Delafe testmonies. The speakers share their testimonies as raw and as painful as it is, but the fact that Christ has restored them all really comforts and encourages us. For people who have been saved and who went back from Christ, the doubt might take over that they would never be reconciled with God. Even in the worst backslidden situation, we just need to turn back to Him and repent.❤ May God bless you all abundantly.

These testimonies truly encourage us, it gives us hope. For we know God is No respecter of person. He is Mighty to forgive, for He knows what we are made of and that we are not perfected yet. We are told to practice righteousness, but we Fall some times. So greatful that we have an Advocate, Jesus Christ, who goes before the Holy Father to plead our case. We are Truly blessed.
True, sincere repentance does Much. We serve a Mighty, Loving, Long-suffering, Forgiving, AWESOME God.

This is triggering so I can’t watch the rest. But I want to say something. Back in 1991 a woman who was a friend of my husband and I at Church one day decided to slip my husband a note. It said, “I had a dream that we kissed.” They ended up having an affair lasting an entire summer. And this is what I want to say, anyone male or female, if you are feeling this way get down on your knees and beg Jesus for strength to renew your mind with the word of God. Seek help from a mentor or someone you trust. DO NOT tell the other person. Oh the webs we weave. I was devastated, broken hearted and it was the catalyst to my husband having multiple affairs and leaving me and his children. He regretted it later but it was too late when he got cancer and passed away. Please, please don’t act on feelings. Blessings to everyone who’s ever suffered from infidelity. God forgives and so did I, but boy was it a tragedy I wish I had never had to endure or experience. My God is sovereign so I know His ways are not our ways, nor His thoughts our thoughts. I’ve found peace and forgiveness through extensive therapy and trauma support.

My kids' father left me and our two children for his sister's best friend! My sister n law and all his family supported his affair! Everything went on behind my back for 6 months.
He then found her at another mans house and beat him up and hit for and was put in jail! And he thought he could come back to me after all the hurt he caused on our kids and me.
No way!!! I found Jesus and fell in love with Him, and He saved my life! I forgive him but I won't go through what he put us through. I love myself too much to go through that again! Thank you, Jesus 🙏

Temptation is real. I could have destroyed my marriage shortly after I got married. We have been married for almost 30 years now. The other woman came to the house when my wife was on a business trip to bring me food. I took the food and there was a pregnant pause. Thank god I thanked her for the food and told her goodbye. That was the moment of truth. Years later my wife told me that she noticed the chemistry between us and was watching to see what I would do. My wife has brought so much joy to my life and that of our children. She was s my best friend. We have grown closer than I ever thought was possible over the past almost 30 years. Our marriage would not have survived an affair. I shudder to think that a brief indiscretion could have short circuited the marriage that I now have.
Affairs are like boiling an egg. It forever changes things. Your spouse can forgive you but things will never be the same.

Yes, by principle this is the right thing to do, but in practice there’s so much healing and growth required to rebuke something. The Bible says, ‘Judge not’ but it also says ‘Judge rightly.’
      💕
God gave us the gifts of intuition and of discernment for a reason.
The world today tells us we have no right to judge anything or anyone.
We have judges in the court system to keep law and order because it works.
We intrinsically know right from wrong & Biblically we are allowed to judge when we know something is wrong -
but the key is not to condemn the person -
      Condemn what they DID.
Jesus always loves us even though he doesn’t like what we DO.
Calling someone out with love for wrong behavior is a far cry from attacking them and not seeing the plank in our own eye.

This guy strikes me as quite narcissistc, self-absorbed, and lacking in real remorse or empathy.
46:00 He started talking about his successful bible study ministry before he said anything about apologising to his wife or reconciling with her. Priorities much? Still cared more about his own pride/purpose than his wife. He left his wife out in so much of the interview and the interviewer had to keep asking about how all of this affected her. I just can't with this guy. Sending love to his wife. She deserved better.
51:25 I still haven't heard a single word of repentance or feeling sorry about how much he hurt/betrayed his wife. Ridiculous. Self-absorbed man. He literally broke the 7th commanment "Thou shall not commit adultery" and still didn't show any appropriate level of repentance/remorse for how much he wronged his wife and marriage covenant.
50:03 Wow, imagine getting cheated on and then your husband not even empathising with your feelings, but being so wrapped up in his own problems, that he tells you "you're not even the priority; my salvation is my priority". Yeah nah. May God rebuke this narcissist and reward his poor wife with a better man, or a better life at least. Amen. Absolute failure of a leader/head of family.
58:12 He's more worried about her "cheating back" than realising how much he hurt her and making amends. Unrepentant, self-absorbed, and narcissistic.
Anyways, I pray that God will deal justly with this man, who seems a bit delusional in my opinion.

It's great being honest about this but you should have resigned as pastor of your church ,you could still serve God in other ways , The Bible was completed with the book of revelation All The prophecy God wanted us to know was finished . God said a man will lead not a woman, I'm not degrading women but God said in the church a women should be quiet and a pastor be a man , your listening to what that women claimed was prophecy about you , when you should have been listening to what the Holy Spirit was speaking to you through God's word . @@Rileyed Are you claiming to be 100% free from sin? The message of the Bible isn’t that you will be “sin free” at the moment of salvation.. Our Spirit is declared Righteous and blameless at the moment of salvation BUT. Not our flesh. That’s why God gave us 1 John 1:9. James says it’s actually our “own Desires” that entice us and drag us away. The Bible teaches staying alert and sober.. Paul wars with his flesh back and forth. Sometime a you need to “cut off” things that are stumbling blocks.. maybe this isn’t an issue for you but it might be for others. If it is for others then yes depending on the Lord is key but also doing what He already instructed us to do. He says if your hand causes you to sin then “cut it off”! Don’t put yourself in situations where you will have obvious temptation.. are there areas you struggle with? Or again are you 100% sin free? John says if you say you are then the Spirit of truth isn’t in you and in context he is speaking to believers. I’m not saying Christians just need to struggle their whole lives, no! We’re free in Christ.. but why open doors that you know are temptations. Again what do you struggle with?
We’re so quick to “blame” it on a demon when James 1 says it’s “our own desires that entice us and drag us away”.. can it be demonic? For sure! But should we stop blaming the devil for everything and start walking the way Christ told us to? Of course! Again sometimes the way to do that is to obey His Word and cut it off! He can and will deliver you if you ask! But also OBEY HIS WORD! Don’t just expect yourself to be sinless and if you’re not then you need deliverance.. I’ll put it this way: “A lot of people don’t even need prayer they just need to step into obedience”
Is that works? Well is staying away from the opposite sex alone when your married a work? No! Its the fruit of a love relationship
1 John 1:8 If we say we do not bear the guilt of sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. 1:9 But if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous, forgiving us our sins and cleansing us from all unrighteousness. 1:10 If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar and his word is not in us. 2:1 (My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin.) But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous One,

The Bible says that serving in a pastorate is a “noble task” (1 Timothy 3:1). Noble work requires noble character and noble behavior. Sexual sin is not noble behavior, and a pastor who falls into immorality has not shown noble character. Also, a pastor-teacher is held to a higher standard than the people he shepherds (James 3:1). The basic standard for all believers is that there “not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity” among us (Ephesians 5:3). If pastors will receive a stricter judgment, then they should exhibit less than “even a hint” of sexual misdeeds.

So true! So many Christians confess Jesus' love and forgiveness, but when life is gritty, dirty and people fall, they walk away. And that is when we need to cling to the truth that God forgives and loves us so much more deeper and farther than any human every could. God forgives us we have no reason not to forgive others, because all of us are sinners in need of a Savior.

I always felt like marriage was like Disney movies and that once a man come and “save” me from my mean “stepsisters” (family) that I would finally be happy and live in my dream house with lots of laughs and peace. This testimony is so beautiful. Over this past year, I’ve been meeting and speaking with married couples and they would tell me how hard it is and their struggles and how they loved have grown. I realized that true love in marriage is being there through the bad times and growing stronger individually and with each other.

The Disney movies portray the "falling in love " stuff, which is all to do with attraction and a whole lot of addictive chemicals flying around in the brain 😅 - serotonin, dopamine, and endorphins. All very wonderful, but it isn't the whole of the story.
But real, long lasting love is partly affection and a whole lot of actually really caring about your partner's feelings and needs and wants - caring to the point where you are willing to take action to meet their needs. Sometimes it's sacrificial.

Then the feelings came back like a flood. I found myself alone with this person over and over again, just thinking about what I wanted to do. When I had the opportunity do it again, I heard the voice of the Lord say, "If you do this, you will surely DIE!".... and even that wasn't enough to stop me. It scared me but didn't stop me. 6 A church leader must not be a new believer, because he might become proud, and the devil would cause him to fall.

To correct my earlier statement it was 3 years spent in Arabia & Damascus before he went to see Peter (Cephas). Although it appears immediate in Acts after his conversion we learn that was not the case in Galatians 1:11-24 "For I would have you know, brothers, that the gospel that was preached by me is not man's gospel.[c] 12 For I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ. 13 For you have heard of my former life in Judaism, how I persecuted the church of God violently and tried to destroy it. 14 And I was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my own age among my people, so extremely zealous was I for the traditions of my fathers. 15 But when he who had set me apart before I was born,[d] and who called me by his grace, 16 was pleased to reveal his Son to[e] me, in order that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with anyone;[f] 17 nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went away into Arabia, and returned again to Damascus.
18 Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Cephas and remained with him fifteen days. 19 But I saw none of the other apostles except James the Lord's brother. 20 (In what I am writing to you, before God, I do not lie!) 21 Then I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia. 22 And I was still unknown in person to the churches of Judea that are in Christ. 23 They only were hearing it said, “He who used to persecute us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.” 24 And they glorified God because of me."

I am SO glad I stumbled onto this testimony. I have been struggling, as a woman of God, with God's plans for me. I got trapped into the game of titles. Women in ministry are often discriminated against (by men!) I realize I need to be careful about WHO prophesies to me. Not all prophesies are from God. Satan is of the world. I'm a worship musician and I'm good at it. I heard a sermon this year where the speaker said "use what you have" - in terms of ministry. I have this consuming desire to know Jesus. I'm actually considering getting baptized for the 2nd time. Great testimoney.

David said in psalms 55 that if it was an enemy who was fighting him, he would bear with it. But it was a friend whom they walked in throng in the house of God who was attacking him. Be very wise even when you go into the churches. Sometimes where you think you can get peace (in the house of God)is where you get rejection of the highest order from the people you cannot even imagine.Hate no one but trust nobody (micah7:6-8). This ministry has been such a blessing to me. I've been going through some stuff the past year, and I was at a point of breaking. I have listened to numerous testimonies the last few days while at work, and during the closing prayer of each one, I have felt like they were praying for me - even when that person's experiences were nothing like what I have experienced. And sometimes the prayer wouldn't be directly related to what that person was delivered from, but I felt the Holy Spirit speaking through them, giving them the words I needed to hear. God is so good, providing and preparing for us before we even know we need it.

I think also that the arrival of their baby exposed some underlying emotional issues that he had. He had been relying on his wife to be his main source of emotional strength, and when she couldn't supply that same support to him, he felt like the bottom of his world fell out. And that of course is when the devil attacks.
It's when we know and experience God as our lover and our strength, that we can cope in any situation.

Ive back slided as well with depression and numbing it with alcohol and other things. People who I thought who would be there, wasnt....and they were of the body of christ too. It hurt. I understood I messed up but we preach grace and the prodigal son all the time but do we as Christians actually live like that? It opened my eyes and made me realize how hurtful the church can be. I have not seen a Delacafe testimony in a few months, but this appeared in my recommendations in TH-cam.
This testimony is exactly what I needed, thank you God for allowing this moment.
My dad had a calling to be a pastor, he served in ministry at church for over 18 years. My dad had an affair with a lady from the same church. He went from preaching and serving in ministry, to leaving God and church completely. It wasn’t until a few days ago, where he decided after 4 years of struggling with his emotions and thoughts to leave my mom. These years have been a blessing and yet struggle for me. A blessing - as I married in 2019 and had my first born in 2021. A struggle - as my dad left, my brothers are not serving the Lord, one brother is struggling with alcohol, another brother is struggling with mental health and another with behavioral issues; my mom struggles with mental health and with her spiritual health.
Needless to stay, it’s been a rough 4 years. Hearing this testimony, my faith is steadfast in the Lord and I believe that there is nothing impossible for God, he can restore my parents marriage and brothers relationship with God. If he could do it for Pastor Noel, he could do it for my family. Please pray for us 🙏🏻

Becoming born again, does not stop us from ever sinning again. I think we have to acknowledge the sin, confess it to God & repent of it. It's picking ourselves up & continuing on our journey, to the upwards call of Christ. 💁🏽‍♀️This man had the courage to confess this struggle with us, that most are dealing with, but are too embarassed to tell anyone.

So many times, adultery is not about the wronged spouse. Adultery has a demonic undercurrent that often gets ignored. The devil is so subtle and he counts on us not being aware of his presence.
