The Walkera Rodeo 110 FPV Racing Drone is an amazingly fun, fast and easy to fly FPV racing quadcopter. It comes with a Devo 7 transmitter and 3 flight rates right out of the box. Check out our first flight out of the box with no tuning on a windy day. Pretty amazing little FPV racing quad!
Glad the transmitter is rechargeable NiMH battery ready. It might be heavier than LiPos, but I recently purchased 8 new Eneloop NiMHs (2000 mAh), so it works for me. Using NiMH and the charging jack, I would make sure they are completely charged before using, so they are all the same voltage.

If the battery holder has them all in series, that is 12 V for alkalines (1.5×8). For Lithium, three cells is 11.1 V (3.7×3). So it's greater than NiMHs and less than alkalines, so it should be fine. At that voltage, the more capacity the better (of course).
Never thought a 4 oz. drone could handle our Oklahoma winds, but this one looks like it might be able to do so!!

Battery display is because of the voltage difference between 2S and 3S! 7.6v vs. 11.1v!!!
Hey, this is kind of off topic, but I just purchased and Phantom 3 S. and it is awesome. You are the one who convinced me to get it and the hovering, camera, and gps are all amazing. I know this isn't the best drone but it fulfills my expectations of it. :)

Sure, I myself have a D7e remote controller, which is compatible with all Walkera racing drones.

that's pretty cool the only thing I like brushless motors I don't like brushed motors they burn out too quick

Can you help me please I'm pretty new to all this but anyways, I bought the Rodeo 110 and all I did was plug the battery in and it beeps non stop...why? What is causing this? And what should I do? Please help...

Is it bound with the remote control? I think when it is beeping, that means it's not bound.

Hi new at this would the eachine VR FPV goggles work with the rodeo 110 and I haven’t got a computer so can’t tune it would u recommend this drone to a beginner rtf out of the box with them goggles
On the walkera combo with controller, are you sure you can unplug battery holder and use a lipo instead? It seems pretty permanent unless I’m missing a release button.

hi I have a question for u I have a Walkera rodeo 110 it's a bnf when I got it ..n I hit some kind of button on the transmitter .. n won't bind to the Drone .. n I hit the reset button on the drone it's still beeping 😢 ..n I don't have a bind plug ..n all my switches are up ..n trim switches are neutral ..n still won't bind together ..do u have any idea wat I can do to get the Devo 7 transmitter .to bind with the Drone ?

what was that glitches in the film I only fly the dji phantom and am new to fpv and wanted to know is this a good first plane to buy
5.8Ghz is an analog signal, so the FPV signal tends to be glitchy. It's not designed for giving you crystal clear video, but designed to not drop out completely so that you can fly. It's getting better, but it's still not as clear as Lightbridge or Occusynch.

Rodeo 110 is faster and more of a racing drone. Spare batteries are cheap on Rodeo 110. I like Rodeo 110 better of these two.

Will the walkera 150 work/bind with a spectrum transmitter?
I don't think it will b/c I think that Walkera uses the FRSky/FlySky receiver, which I don't think works with Spektrum. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!

Yes - the camera is a 5.8Ghz real time transmission. It is not as clear as a DJI or other camera, but pretty good for a FPV racer. Thanks for watching!

It appears tough but when crashed it has to be replaced because of the board design.
This drone is good for beginners. And those who have no betaflight knowledge. The durability is not the best, the spare parts are second choice. But it's a good racer, good to fly out of the box
