Its awesome outside in a yard! I changed the video tx to a 200mw and now it has unbelievable range even flying through the woods! I have had it about 600 feet high carrying a Mobius mini cam all under 250 grams.
I have one as well, bought for indoor trainning. I must say that as you pointed out that it's too unstable to fly FPV indoors unless you are an expirienced FPV pilot. And the noise makes it totally lack the WAF (wife acceptance factor) for indoor flying
i definitely enjoy watching your videos man!...when you fly, i can see the kid in you come out :-) ...the same focused and fascinated expression we all where when all of us fpv addicts fly around.....have a great time, and happy flying brother!
looks like a well built flying tank. I love it. But that fpv is appalling. :/ Im not very up on this sort of thing never having flown fpv, but is it always that crackly and flickery?
most cameras that you'd buy for a DIY build are much higher resolution and the flicker isn't so bad. these toys are built on a budget, but they do the job
great information vid! , my dislike is the loud sound of some drones. there has to be a way to quiet the props or motors. some of the few that do record with sound cant pick up anything but the wind and motors.maybe gunshots or firecrackers...lol. would larger props and lower rpms help this? second question, whats the difference between a drone and a quadcopter?
I have the same setup. This drone is suppose to have 3 flight modes.Like user Risk Rarius said, Red, Blue, and Green. However, like you, i can only get red and blue. I need help with the settings so I can get the Green flight mode working as well. any update?
Nice flying.,.. Have a couple of so called fpv machines and a couple of Parrot machines too. Not any good at it....my own fault as I'm not patient enough to practice. Hence i get bored quickly. How long did your X5 last after that flight in the Monsoon?👅
I just used my inductrix non fpv little ones cheap controller and it binded right away. Was off and running. I have a Taranis QX7 so it won’t work with these dsmx receivers. Too big for indoors. Knocked my chocolate milk over with it trying to disarm withbthe cheap controller stick and I couldn’t fly it at night outside LOS cuz the lights only on the back but it’s perfect for my car dealerships repair center flying between the 6 lifts and rafters and hanging lights and alignment machine. Lol. Good times. Mechanics love me now. Lol. I paid $40 for it u onopened so it was worth it. Never would have paid the $249 they wanted when it was still an active product. Got a vortex 250 pro too for another $40 unopened as well. $750 worth of stuff for $80. Can’t beat that.
What about green Mode ??? I get red Blue Green in order of stability (Acro is Red, Easiest is Green, blue is somewhere in middle) mind you I just rebuilt it with a Rakon Heli. So not sure if Ive set it up well enough.
I need help with the settings so I can get the Green flight mode working as well. I have the same setup as shown in this video, but I can only get Blue and Red modes
Yes - you can set all of that up on your transmitter. I was flying it "as is" out of the box...but agree that some tuning does help for indoor flight. Thanks for watching!
That is the analog FPV signal. It was especially bad in my house b/c there is alot of interference. It's much better when you fly out in a field. But that's generally what analog FPV signals look like unfortunately. Thanks for watching!
Yea I hear you buddy...my most reliable machines are my Hubsan's. Those were my first multi rotors. Still flyable almost 19 mnts on....almost indestructible too.👍
Ha! You are right about the Inductrix 200. However, the Nano QX FPV is a pretty good indoor flyer - lightweight and pretty responsive. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!
If Blade have done what they have done with their Heli's then you can download the models TX setup from spektrums web site load it onto the card reader card and bind and fly ! that easy
Ready Set Drone so. im new to all of this rc stuff in general. especially drones. but i read somewhere that brushless is a very good thing as far as quadcopters go because they arnt as basically "controllable" as brushed. basically what I got out if it is something about the response can seem lagged especially with deceleration. i cant remember exactly what it said. but is this true?
You just bind it wrong.. you dont have to keep the bind button on when binding.. just wait for untill 3 beeps and then release the bind button... it doesnt matter if the transmitter is set up already or not.. it will always bind
Depends on a couple of things. First - how much do you want to spend? And second, do you want to fly indoor or outdoor? For a cheap one that is less than $100USD, this one is pretty good JJRC H32GH th-cam.com/video/0tf-xRvG2Ik/w-d-xo.html If you want to spend a bit more, the Blade Nano QX FPV is really good th-cam.com/video/UDKuJ0ECI7w/w-d-xo.html Both of those are pretty easy to fly and would be a good intro to FPV. Thanks for watching!
i dont understand you guys... that a really easy quad to fly ? why dont you fly in acro ... that when you really have control ...it seems like a nice quad altho i would prefer a little higher rates ....
Induction fans are really not that good, very inefficient, plus the motors have to work 5 times harder just to make the craft lift off, not to mention zero improved performance, I guess that's why the thing is so loud. The camera quality looks like a Blair Witch project film. LOL Happy flying!
actually ducted fans are very efficient that's the whole point. this thing has a cage around the props and the duct isn't that great though.. and it's way to noisy for sure!
rayikaikin they may be as far as the amount of air that they can push, but as far as energy uses, they are not. That is the reason the motors have to work so hard and why they are so load, but it does look cool. ;-)
however if your spending this much ? Don't bother with this get the Blade Torrent which is a much better quad to start with and the money you save can pay for a bunch of lipo pack;s and you;ll have a much better setup that will fly better handel better and you can upgrade the quad when you want to with more powerfull motors and fly a lot more for the money!! cheers
Thanks Niki. I agree that this quad is over priced and not the best flyer. When it came out it was unique, but today there are many that are similar, better and cheaper. Thanks for the comment!
Are you using the stock toy radio controller? If so you'd be surprised how much a nice radio can make a difference. Also if your new to multi rotors you may just need practice behind the sticks
Yes, a Spektrum radio is going to be a better flying experience than the toy that comes with it. Also, be sure you have it on a level surface when you plug it in so that everything calibrates properly. If you plug it in while it is not level, it will be very difficult to fly. If you are just learning, check out some flying tips here: th-cam.com/video/eEKJq9tU85A/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for the well explained video on binding the INDUCTRIX 200 with the DX6i. I'm up and flying. God Bless.
Just to let you know, you don't have to re-bind it every time you turn it on. Just make sure your transmitter is on first and then the quad.

Shadrik Easton its about electro magnetic radiation
Thanks for the review! We were wondering how this compares to the smaller version of the inductrix.

Great Video! you put a Lot of How to Info in it...Much Appreciated!!
10 years later.... let’s get this thing in the air
Nice flying.,.. Have a couple of so called fpv machines and a couple of Parrot machines too.

Good job a sweet little bugger, your having all the fun enjoy your day 👌
can't you add (exponential) to your Tx settings, to calm it at center stick ? also dual rates for really mellowing it down for indoors ?
Yes - you can set all of that up on your transmitter. I was flying it "as is" out of the box...but agree that some tuning does help for indoor flight. Thanks for watching!
Thinking of getting one as a craft to go between my emax tinyhawks and hawk 5 . Any place still sell it ?
I don't think so. This video was a few years old. And it only works with Spektrum radio.
Ready Set Drone i still have a mlp6 remote from my crashed blade zeyrok . would it work if it is a 6 channel DSMX?
how fast? camera is sketchy
sweet little flyer thanks for sharing
why is it that the video feed choppy and pixillated? I have yet to find a smooth video feed. is it the copter signal that distorts the video?
That is the analog FPV signal. It was especially bad in my house b/c there is alot of interference. It's much better when you fly out in a field. But that's generally what analog FPV signals look like unfortunately. Thanks for watching!
Yea I hear you buddy...my most reliable machines are my Hubsan's.

Do you have a link where I can grab one up?
Thanks! This lil guy looks fun. I'm gonna grab one right now :)
Nice flying!
249.99? Hell No. Seriously Over Priced. Thanks for the video, I will pass on this little guy.
ERVARGAS NYC u pay for the blade name
If it's too big for indoors and too small for outdoors, it must be a Blade.
Ha! You are right about the Inductrix 200. However, the Nano QX FPV is a pretty good indoor flyer - lightweight and pretty responsive. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!
Nice Review, PS nice house
Why can't you show how to bind? I don't have a manual.
how much is it
$250 USD
Nice
If Blade have done what they have done with their Heli's then you can download the models TX setup from spektrums web site load it onto the card reader card and bind and fly ! that easy
you dont have to bind every time you use it only thr frist time the you turn on the transmitter then the quad and they should connect instantly
are the motors brushed?
Brushless motors!
Ready Set Drone so. im new to all of this rc stuff in general. especially drones. but i read somewhere that brushless is a very good thing as far as quadcopters go because they arnt as basically "controllable" as brushed. basically what I got out if it is something about the response can seem lagged especially with deceleration. i cant remember exactly what it said. but is this true?

no telemetry?

that is basically just a prop guard around the props i think thye need to go back to the drawing board and look up how ducted fans work
You are correct. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.
nice blue light on the power button tho lol
:)
Nano quads are my favorite at the moment as they are quiet enough to fly in the dead of the night👅
thx 4 review reallyhelped
I saw one in hobby store 3years ago I don’t like the way it starts up plus very noisy
Is your name kelly
16:12 like a horror movie I like it
My Sky viper 2400hd has better video reception in video then this...not worth the money in my op.
What is the best fpv drone for if you are moving on from syma
Depends on a couple of things. First - how much do you want to spend? And second, do you want to fly indoor or outdoor? Will it be easy to fix
and does it have the fpv
And how a bout my 3rd drone
should i stared on fpv drone or the camera drone
I am so glad I didn't buy that POS quad.
I felt a sleep you could just decide to fly if you so obsessed with Drones
SevenHeal9871 XD
You felt a sleep?
Did you get its consent first?
i dont understand you guys... that a really easy quad to fly ? why dont you fly in acro ... that when you really have control ...it seems like a nice quad altho i would prefer a little higher rates ....
Over priced and extremely noisy. 👎

If you feel that its twitchy add some expo

Thanks. Buy it cheap at auction. No more than 50 bucks.
I don't believe those little things can actually fly! I've got a Blade heli and it's a piece of rubbish that can't be controlled at all!

Revive the s eye quardcopter
200 hub to hub
not to loud
felt asleep...talk less, fly more. 😉
Quit the comparisons and get to the actual binding. Too much talk.
I hate inhouse videos as does just about everyone it so uninteresting...oh well
horrible video quality
That intro his horse shit and comes on way too soon. Caused me to turn off the video immediately.
+Tyler Parrott Sorry you didn't like it.
