    What's up guys! In this video I review the XMark Fitness adjustable weight bench model number 7604. This XMark Fitness FID workout bench has a weight capacity of 1500lbs and is made of 11gauge steel! The 7604 weight bench is rated 4.7 stars on Amazon. This XMark weight bench weighs 85lbs, has 7 back adjustments, 3 seat positions and 4 leg holder positions. This model along with the 9024 commercial grade weight bench by XMark can also use the the preacher curl "XM-7455" and leg curl/extension "XM-7455" attachments. I think this is an amazing Olympic weight lifting bench for the price point and really great choice for a lot of home gyms!

    I've got that exact bench along with the preacher curl and leg attachment and I love it. I use it every day for either legs, abs, dumbbell, or cable exercises. Never once considered making an upgrade, it's a keeper. I also have the Xmark functional trainer which I'm also really happy with and a set of Bowflex adjustable dumbbells. From my experience Xmark products are all HD and well designed while being much less expensive than most of the other high profile brands and shipping has always been free. Oh, I also bought one of their dip stations, refurbished for around $120 delivered, it also exceeded my expectations.

    Great video!! I Decided to buy this bench a month ago. Easy to assemble. I LOVE how sturdy it is. The only thing I’ve noticed is the 0 degree setting is still at a slight incline. Not sure if anyone else noticed this. Don’t think it makes a big difference but I just noticed this when looking at it from the side at a distance. I can tell this bench was built to last. Great buy for the $$.

      I was thinking of getting the 9024 since it's the same price as the 7604. Does your 9024 have the degree markings on the spine like the 7604? I don't see the degree markings in the pictures on Amazon. I'm also hoping the preacher curl attachment becomes available soon.

    I'm curious to know how durable the red handles are on the side that adjust the back padding? Do the handles have really good welds or can they bend or break off? I'm thinking about making a modification when I get mine by making a tricep lever much like Matt Wenning's tricep bench. The lever would be a 2 piece that you clasp from both sides that would be screwed together, but there would be a hole on each side that fits over the handles that turn when you press or extend. In theory it sounds good whether or not it would move smoothly or over time the red handles would start to bend or snap is another issue. I was thinking about bearings that could rotate freely over the handles so that even if its clasped tightly, the design could move to its functional purpose. I've thought about this for some time, but the only thing left to consider is how strong are the red handles? Everything else I think checks out to try this.

    Mat, have you been able to get in touch with XMark fitness to find out when the leg attachment will be available? I tried but No email reply and I called but they don’t answer there phones. I hate companies like that. I like the bench because of the leg attachment. Any other Very good mid range benches that you’d recommend that have the leg attachment? I looked at the Power Tech but that’s in the $600’s with bench and leg attachment.
    I wanted to add that the gap in the Xmark bench looks really wide in the video! Is it more of a gap than the SCS bench ?

    • @MattTolbers
      @MattTolbers  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I did get in touch with them a little. I sent them an email with quiet a few questions one being about when the leg extension attachment would be back in stock and they didn’t respond to that question but did get back to me about the main thing I asked them for. They got back early the next morning so they were quick to respond. I’ll message them again soon with that being the main question and I’ll let you know what they say. As far as gap in the bench they are about the same, it’s an average gap size for a bench and shouldn’t be an issue for most people. I don’t know of any benches at the price of the XMark or less that I would recommend that has leg extension/curl attachment. Most are cheap and crappy the lower you go in price.
