Welcome back to the next instalment of Operation MUD! Since episode one I tracked down an absolute bargain bike to start my odyssey into the world of riding off-road. Here is the full story of new bike day.
The DRZ is a classic, tried and tested green lane machine. With a (hopefully) bulletproof motor and easy maintenance I decided this was the bike for me. Let's hope it doesn't prove too tall after all...

Awesome choice for learning off-road! Would love to hear your thoughts on the Scrambler 1200 XE as you get more experienced offroad, do you think you'll use it much for greenlaning now that you've got a DRZ?
Thanks Dan! I’ll be honest… I don’t foresee taking the scrambler off road for a while now I have the DRZ. Its so heavy and so expensive I’m too scared to ride it 😂 (haters going to hate, that’s the way it is at the moment)
