I hope the STi30 is more reliable than the STi29. I've had 2 replaced under warranty due to them cracking around the spokes in less than a year of riding. Finally binned them for a tougher wheel.
Good to know about the warranty, what process did you take?
@@MTBAlex WTB were hopeless. Ended up taking back to the store where I purchased the bike and they replaced both wheels. WTB tried to just replace the rim and nothing else which wasn't acceptable. They know there's a problem with the rear wheels but have never issued a recall.
Gorilla tape works, just a mess if you ever need to remove it!

Don't get the XT or XTR, they creek for heavier people. I'd stick with the Deore
Got a SLX, it was only 20 more than Deore.
