This is so fire dude. I learned about how black music evolved during the slave trade in college and dude its insane how much determination african people had to keep their tradition. Its very heartwarming to see that even through going through the worst shit in the world, they managed to sneak their culture into forced European tradition. And they created something even the europeans couldn't do and now the music industry is led by a majority of african influence. Although its tuff cuz the industry is controlled still by predominantly rich white people, the african tradition seems to continue to dominate even over oppressive power. Great job on this dude, its beautiful, did you use samples or midi instruments?
@@Posur856 thats cool man, i make music too. I dont rlly use samples tho to be honest i mostly work with midi. Samples are so fire tho i feel like its just tuff to get out of the comfort zone sometimes
Yeah it is kinda hard to work with samples sometimes, which is why I sometimes just ignore the tempo of the sample I’m using and use sidechaining, EQs, or micro-chopping to mold it into what I want it to sound like. Even though I love sampling (Teebs’s and J Dilla’s albums are what got me into making music), I do want to try to break away from it a little bit and try to incorporate my own synth pads into my beats.
this is awesome i was expecting this to have 100k views or something when i heard it. you've done amazing with the graphic design and the sampling. when you get this uploaded to Spotify ill def try my best to make it one of my top albums for the year.
This is great man the ambience got me moving no cap 🔥
Loving the samples 🔥
Keep on going man that’s fire
