This is one of those times where it would be kind of smart to utilize some outsourced manufacturing. It be cool to see some of this kind of software in one those portable handheld’s. I’m happy to see this. The price is still out of reach for most everyone. And the limited production doesn’t help matters. I’m happy to see all the time going into the software. Seems like there could be a range of different case material options. As well as modular add-ons, based on price point. The price goes up, the quality goes up, the more parts are made locally. Give people options. Just ideas for brands like this. Happy to see it even happening. Much love for sharing their work
This goes for most synth manufacturers. They can hate on Behringer all they want but they're the ones putting synths into the hands of people that can't afford them
The answer would be to get some people to work on combining LMN3 (sequencer) and Zynthian (synthesis engine) into to same device package. The software is open source, and the processor hardware is Raspberry Pi based. That would be one potential way to have big sound in a tiny portable unit, and it supports the use of VSTs in addition to any of its own integrated soft-synths. Check examples of those out, as most demos are pretty neat. If they can be made to work together nicely, that may make for the best low-cost option. (In theory anyone could produce the devices, but cost, quality, and hardware UI could vary.)
This is so cool! I love innovative synths that break the boundaries. Personally it’s super inspiring for creating stuff. I also love how it’s a powerful tool with a simplistic appearance. These are the kinds of hardware that get me excited! Great video!

Awesome demo and absolutely agree, its a great portable sampler with superior big sound. That's hard to beat anywhere. I love the drones on this also. Currently attempting to incorporate with eurorack which is similar of course but cv and midi is tricky. Love the lemondrop.
This demo shows how guitarists can construct background chord progression loops! With just root notes using synth tones! Simple drone swells, doads and tritones. A subtle, infinite palette with a keyboard 🎹. Efficient creativity; pedal arrays offer at significant costs.

I will agree with that. If you like hardware and physically touching knobs, there is that angle. It's a lot more limited than I expected from using both other soft and hardware. A bluetooth Korg controller and a iOS device would get the same or better results, as you said.
