Business is often complicated due to like you said the several confusing business models leading to procrastination to actually choose one when really we all should focus on the skills along the way. These skills not only are permanent for the rest of your life but also provide real life experience and open so many new doors in life.
I stumbled upon this video at the right time! Such a good video! I've been trying to level up my mediocre skills for the last 2 years and this year I'm trying to turn it into money while I have a lot of free time on my hands until around December. In the last couple of months I've been reaching out to people, offering my services and I didn't quite understand why it's not working out. But it was the wrong market. And the way I offer it/ package it also could be a lot better. It now makes perfect sense why it didn't work out and even if it would've, I wouldn't make a lot of money for it to be sustainable and quit my 9-5. This week I bought a course related to selling design skills (which I already have at a pretty okay level) and it talks pretty similarly on how to sell that specific skill and package it well. I guess we'll see how it goes in a couple weeks from now. Have a lot to do to set myself up for success, but I have nothing to lose at this point (apart from taking up a new, more time consuming 9-5 job in december if I don't figure this out until then so I'm pretty determined).
