Y’all have a great day too and thanks for watching
Love my Hondas
Hard not to love the Hondas, just don’t love the price 😉
@@BacktoCountry hahaaaa. Right
When it's hot my 5500w onan onboard has to have the cover off to keep running.
I would take the duel fuel over the remote start ( I did) and propane ONLY
Pros and cons to everything, glad you got what works for you.
First time here, and also a first time fuel generator user. One question (from a newbie). I purchased a Champion to use for emergencies to power a portable 8,000BTU air conditioner and/or 5 cu ft min-freezer. The owner's manual says that this is a floating neutral generator and that to prevent electric shock, it needs to be 'grounded' using a copper rod, etc. Is that necessary, and did you ground yours? Thanks for your awesome video!
So the correct answer is “for safety it should be grounded” There is a grounding lug on the front of the generator and you can run a wire from that to a new rod or pre-existing. The truth is, no I have never run the ground and have had zero issues. But if we ever did have a fault, there is the risk. Thanks for watching, if you want to see how to put in a rod easily check out our video on grounding in our electrical installation videos
@@BacktoCountry Glad you have a video on the grounding rod! That's my next stop. Thank you, I really appreciate the advice!
With full tank, in the real world, what is the run time?
@@jjohnston6645 depends on the load, but running my RV With Air conditioner I average around 8 hours or more.
