Is the Ranch Fairy test kit from Sirius Archery worth it?

Thank you! We plan on trying the Orion and the Apollo test kits this year! I want to try and get down to around 600 grains, 700 was a bit much for my bow.

Cheaper than buying a 1/2 to a dozen arrows & trying to figure out how to tweak the bow so much. Looks like it is worth it.

Exactly. For $80 you get to test two different spine arrows and different target tip weights. Can’t beat it!

What is your draw length and draw weight? I am looking at getting the test kit but am not sure of what spine arrow I want to get.

My draw weight is around 70 lbs and draw length is 28 1/2". If you take a look at ranch fairy's youtube channel he walks you through everything you need to know.

200 spine is extremely stiff

It is but with the amount of weight that is up front (300 grains) it seemed to shoot the best out of my bow.

So do you send the stuff you’re not going to use back? Or how does that work?

It's all yours. You do not send anything back because the arrows are cut to your length and custom to you.

So you get 4 arrows with the kit?

Yes, you get 2 arrows of one spine weight and 2 arrows of another. Mine were 200 spine and 250 spine. I believe you can choose different spine weights for both sets of arrows.

Yep he got me here i honestly feel goofy not realizing these things on my own after hearing it all laid out. Makes so much sense lol. Do you know much about the insert choices for the appollos? On the sirius website theres like 6 options but not a real clear indication of what the options actually mean. You cam tell the weight difference and the material used but beyond that i cant tell which ones i need. It seems like they have options listed that shouldnt work with the appollos? I think they are supposed to be a half out insert and not the sleeves but seems like sleeves are an option im not sure what the deal is with that.

I'm not familiar with the appollo arrows. But I am sure that if you called them they could explain the whole kit to you!

Not promoting. We get nothing from it we just wanted to test it out and ended up liking the results! The arrows and heads have killed 2 bucks this year and counting.
