I’m so glad you loved it. I’m embarrassed to say you’d find my anatomy very rudimentary given your background. To be honest, it’s basic but well researched for each class and I mostly go by feel. This class in particular, I wanted to include mobility, strength and lengthening for all sides of the hips. Drills that could be expanded. New movement to familiar movement. Happy hips but also quite grounding as it encourages focus. Two birds (pardon the pun) with one stone ✅
I think I have started this class ten times. Perhaps the build up increased my appreciation levels but I found that class incredible. I loved the movements and transitions. The bent leg lunge into warrior 2 allowed me to get incredibly deep into my warrior. You know I love all the classes and sometimes I need a shorter class because of life but I love a full class like this. The chapters don't affect how I practice I like a straight run through with my babies being the only interruption. My littlest one just jumped on me conveniently at the end of shavasana shouting wake up daddy. Long winded way of saying thank you for your generosity to all of us home practitioners and I hope that you feel and are nourished by the gratitude we feel towards you.

Oh Fiona what a Quality practice you share with us all 😇 I’ve never done such unique poses - dynamic bridge was just wow and challenging for the hips, the unique hip rotation variation was the first ever I’ve done and so was the warrior 3 with hands behind the knee! I am on vacation and therefore had time for the 60 minute class which I thoroughly enjoyed. Your creativity makes your classes so enjoyable, especially after practicing yoga for almost 20 years when most of the poses are so familiar. Which is great on one hand, but different movements also make it more interesting. In any case - THANK YOU for this fantastic flow. 🤗

Hi Mike, thanks so much for your kind message and practicing with me so often. Really lovely to read. The mat I use is a manduka. It’s 20 years old. It has a lifetime guarantee would you believe? It’s rather heavy but it’s the best. Doesn’t scuff. Super grippy. A quality mat. They also offer more light weight ones as well as travel versions. I’ve tried many. This is my fav. 😊🙏
