I absolutely love this umbrella! What I love most is how good this tutorial is. I cannot wait until tomorrow morning to apply your technique for the walls! I just have to get a needle nose bottle now! Thank you so much.
I'm new at paper quilling, and thought maybe to difficult, but after watching your videos , I am feeling more confident. Thank you so much for you inspiring me to continue with this beautiful art.
This is the best way I’ve seen it done! I can’t wait to try it tomorrow. I like that glue bottle you have. I hope they have it in Hobby, Lobby or Michaels.
I love the rainbow in this! So peppy! And thank you for the template! Can't wait to make one! I think I'll make it into a card, with a hanger, so the recipient can hang out in the window (like stained glass) or on the Christmas tree......
This rainbow is so beautiful, very well explained and inspiring. With Loads of Love.. stay blessed and connected. Would like to see more videos of your's Good Luck.
Hello, I have already learned a lot from your videos, thank you. You have interesting projects, for example this umbrella. I would like to know if and how you save suggestions for possible repetitions. Do you have any video on this topic? Maybe you have it but I missed it?
You've probably made a plan for this umbrella or some other product. If you would like to make the same product, either save the plan or redraw it for the heir? Or preserve it in some other way. Thank you for your patience☺
Got it! You should be able to reuse the template a few times before it gets too damaged to work with. But I copy my templates all the time when I'm making multiples of things. I either print them out again, or just trace over them to get a new copy. I hope that helps!
That does happen from time to time. Try using less glue and see if that helps! Also, one side of the wax paper is more "waxy" than the other. Make sure that side faces up 🤩
Thank you! I included a link to my free template page of my website in the description box for this video. You can print yoir own copy of the umbrella template there. You’ll find the link under the links for the supples 🙂
Hi, you mentioned that you have the patern of the umbrella for downloading. Mat I Knowles where? Thanks. You explain hos to do it very clearly. Thanks à LOT.
So glad you enjoy this one! I link everything in the description boxes for each video, but here is the link to all my templates 👉www.thepaperycraftery.com/quilling/free-quilling-templates/ The umbrella is towards the bottom of the page. I hope that helps!
Certain projects need to be built on a cork board so you can use pins to keep everything together as the glue dries. I use the wax paper to build my quilling on because the glue will not stick to it but I can still see my template through the wax paper. There are other materials you can use too. I made a video comparing some here 👉 th-cam.com/video/fn3zBxsV_zo/w-d-xo.html
Yes, the pins stick right in the cork to keep your quilling in place while you're working, then you'd remove your work from the cork board and attach it to your final surface. Also, be warned, Tacky Glue is a little trickier to use in a needle-nose bottle. You can try keeping it upside down while you're not using it and also keeping the end of the nozzle wet by resting it on a damp paper towel or sponge to keep the end from clogging because Tacky Glue sets up so quickly. Mine still clogs too quickly for my liking in the bottles so I like to just use them for thinner white glue.
I've never seen any quilling supplies at my local Michaels, though I haven't been in quite a while, so that may have changed. The Joann's near me has had some quilling supplies, though not a brand that I have used. I do have links to the exact supplies that I use in the description box for this video.
In the description box for every video, I leave links for any templates that you may need. If you follow the link, you’ll be able to print your own copy of the template.
No, you don’t have to pay at all. The description box for the videos can be hard to see on some devices so here is the direct link to all my templates. You’ll find the umbrella on that page 🙂👉 www.thepaperycraftery.com/quilling/free-quilling-templates/
I love Umbrella ☔

You can do it! Paper quilling doesn't have to be super tricky and fiddly 😊 It's just paper!
Just beautiful
Thank you! 😊
Very pretty. I am looking for a new hobby and quilling just might be the thing for me.
This is the best way I’ve seen it done! I can’t wait to try it tomorrow. I like that glue bottle you have. I hope they have it in Hobby, Lobby or Michaels.
They may have something similar. If you don't find something you like, I do leave links to exactly what I use in the description box for each video.
Love the umbrella. Thank you for this video

I'm not sure I follow what you mean by repetitions. I'd love to help but I think I may need a little more explanation about what you're looking for 😊
You've probably made a plan for this umbrella or some other product. If you would like to make the same product, either save the plan or redraw it for the heir? Or preserve it in some other way. Thank you for your patience☺

This looks amazing! Definitely going to try this one! (Just found you here on TH-cam and I love all your videos!) Lots of love from the Netherlands :)
So glad you've found me! Thank you for watching!
Beautiful umbrella#maroofa art stroke
Thank you so much!
What is the size of this umbrella? How much would you sell it for. 🤔 would you put in a shadow box frame
Thank you for the tutorial! How did you manage to get it off the wax paper so easily? Mine didn’t come off very cleanly at all.
That does happen from time to time. Try using less glue and see if that helps! Also, one side of the wax paper is more "waxy" than the other. Make sure that side faces up 🤩
Love it. How to I get the template for this project? & what size paper is used??
Thank you! I included a link to my free template page of my website in the description box for this video. You can print yoir own copy of the umbrella template there. You’ll find the link under the links for the supples 🙂

You are so talented. I’m a beginner , Why do you glue to wax paper?
Certain projects need to be built on a cork board so you can use pins to keep everything together as the glue dries. So you put a corkboard under it so the pins would stick in it I guess? I usually use tacky glue and I’m sure that’ll go in the needle nose bottle!
Yes, the pins stick right in the cork to keep your quilling in place while you're working, then you'd remove your work from the cork board and attach it to your final surface. Also, be warned, Tacky Glue is a little trickier to use in a needle-nose bottle. wow
i love it a lot. how long have you've been doing quilling ❤
Thanks! I've been working with quilling for about 8 years
Id use thicker paper rathe than the hassle of glueing. :)
That will absolute work too! I'm just a big fan of using the supplies that I have handy 🙂
What width are you using?
These are 1/8” wide strips. In metric, the closest would be 3mm. Anything wider would work well for this project too.
@@ThePaperyCraftery going to give it a go. Thanks for the detailed instructions.
Ooh that means thinner than 5mm too . Ooh .
Can I get this paper at Micheal Craft store?
I've never seen any quilling supplies at my local Michaels, though I haven't been in quite a while, so that may have changed. The Joann's near me has had some quilling supplies, though not a brand that I have used. I do have links to the exact supplies that I use in the description box for this video.
How do I order templates or download
In the description box for every video, I leave links for any templates that you may need. If you follow the link, you’ll be able to print your own copy of the template.
I couldn't find the template do I have to pay for them
No, you don’t have to pay at all. The description box for the videos can be hard to see on some devices so here is the direct link to all my templates. You’ll find the umbrella on that page 🙂👉 www.thepaperycraftery.com/quilling/free-quilling-templates/
Que nombre es el papel , donde trabajas que no se queda pegado , gracias exelente trabajo.
Pongo enlaces en el cuadro de descripción del video a todos los suministros que utilizo para este proyecto.
You do beautiful work. I love it. Thank you.
Thank you!
So beautiful 😍
