Wow, so lovely. I am planning to make a birthday card for my husband and you gave me a fantastic idea. One thing I want yo ask, if I combine watercolor and quilling together, what paper I should use and how to do that. Do you have any tutorial about that ? If you do, please share the link. I would like to watch that too. Thank you for all the lovely pattern you show us.
I have a video on using watercolor to paint on quilling. You can watch that here 👉 th-cam.com/video/u_nl9CORz9Q/w-d-xo.html And you can absolutely make a watercolor painting, then incorporate quilling over it. Any quality watercolor paper would be heavy enough to hold the weight of your quilling just fine.
This is really lovely. You’re so awesome at using the needle tool to make those coils… I’ve tried, but just can’t make it happen. How long did it take you to get the knack of it? Thanks again for all you inspiration xx
Love your tutorials. Have you tried press & seal instead of wax paper? Saw on someone's video they use this & stays in place, doesn't rip the paper & doesn't stick to glue. You can lift it repeatedly & restick.
Depending on the project I either use Elmer's Glue-All, Tacky Glue, or clear glue. I'll always show and mention which I use and why in each video. If you store your glue upside-down, it will help with clogging. While you're crafting, you can also place a slightly damp paper towel in the bottom of a cup and put your opened glue bottle upside-down on top of that. The moisture will help your nozzle not clog as well.
For the most part, I use regular Elmer's white glue. I do sometimes use other types of glue but I'll mention when and why in each project. I also have a video that covers glue and quilling. You can watch it here if you're interested 👉 th-cam.com/video/cmfFUvu64Uw/w-d-xo.html
I use Elmer's Glue-All and I squeeze it into the needle-nose bottles. It can be tricky and I do sometimes make a mess, but luckily you don't need to fill up the bottles very often. You can always apply a tiny dot of glue with a toothpick or another thin tool if that's easier for you.
I made a video recently experimenting with different surfaces and I was really happy using plastic sheets but I use wax paper because the price is right for me. You can see that video here if you're interested in what I found 👉 th-cam.com/video/fn3zBxsV_zo/w-d-xo.html
Your tutorial is great, but you didn't show how to assemble the heart and daisies on a card. Do you glue the final product on the card? Please help me out. Thank you
I have a couple links in the description box to other videos where I use the same heart and show how to add flowers to it. If you wanted to do something like what I show at the end of the video, you would make the heart outline exactly the way I show in the first video link, but add your daisies and leaves instead of the little vines and flowers I used. The description box is also where you'll find the link to the heart template. The example I share is made on a piece of mat board but you could make it on a card as well. I would just be careful how much glue you use or your card stock could warp. I hope that helps!
Daisy is my favourite flower. These are beautiful! Thank you!
I haven’t quilled before nut looking forward to it. Your videos are easy to follow.
Hope you enjoy it now!
I LOVE all of your tutorials. Thank you for sharing your techniques!
Glad you like them 🤩
Love your tutorials, you have really helped with some tricky problems!
Happy to help!
Beautiful! I'll have to try this one!
Que bello trabajo, y con margaritas el corazón es muy bello !!!
I absolutely love your direction. You are clear and easy to listen to. Thank you
That's so nice to hear! Thank you!
Thank you for a simple (read that as elegant but understated!) design with great instructions!
You’re so kind, thank you!

Love the design can't wait to try it. Always enjoy your work.
Very pretty! I should say fringing is the least favorite part of quilling for me.
They have a machine that does but I’ve only seen it on the internet.
You can buy schredder scissors for less than $10.
@@joannclupper7902 Thanks JoAnn, I didn't know what those kind of scissors were called. 👍👍😊 ✂
I do like that it adds a bit of texture though. Sometimes, it's needed!
Thanks for sharing another pretty project. I'm new to quilling and really enjoying your videos!
Thankyou so much for your inspiration. You are very generous. Beautiful work.
So pretty!!! Your videos are so helpful. You are also so calming which is really nice.

Scissors work! Fringe tool, $30 & didn’t work! Battle getting $$ back! Thanx for tutorials!
I've heard mixed reviews about the fringing machine and the fringing scissors, too 🤷♀️
So cute and beautiful.. your works are very neat .. a good presentation..
Thank you very much!

@@ThePaperyCraftery it was amazing, ur step by step guide is very helpful, will be on the look for ur future uploads

It can take some time, but just a "feel" thing. It's usually not a problem to use a slotted quilling tool, and it can be easier to get the handle of.
@@ThePaperyCraftery thank you
Beautiful project. Are those 1mm quilling strips and could you please mention the GSM too
In this project I'm using 1/8" strips which are closer to 3mm. You can use whatever width or weight you feel comfortable with.
Muchas gracias aprendiendo algo nuevo

I’ve heard that works too!
What kind of glue do you use? How do you keep the little tube from clogging up? You instructions are excellent. L

Hi, may I ask you why use wax paper and not any kind of plastic? Thank you!

How much long Fringe strip
In this video I mention that I use a strip between 4-6 inches for the fringed center of the flower. I hope that helps!
the fringe machine is not worth it I paid 45.00 for it and that is where I earned how to curse !!!
😂 I have a whole video on the fringe machine and my feelings about it!
