That fight was clearly the result of Imperial Hubris. "We're in a Star Destroyer, they're in corvettes. What threat could they possibly pose?"
That commander learned that lesson the hard way.

When you took the side shot against the already activated CR90, it looked like you had a double arc on a different CR90. Might have been a better choice if able?
Gary, was this in turn 4 after the Arquitens was deployed? If so, I seem to recall that I did not actually have the CR90 in double arc. It was incredibly close.
ION Radio yeah, it’s close, camera angle etc will make it look like you have, but you won’t. I know when I’ve played I see what I think is a double from one angle, but when you look at it straight, it’s not.
Interesting.. Star Destroyer with Flight Commander but no Squadrons? Curious would have gone first round with expert Shield Tech or Captain Brunson.
The initial idea was to build up using all squadrons with this fleet. It was a poor choice to begin with as ultimately I lost a turn before I could start rebuilding this fleet how I wanted to.

Eric, they are definitely stars of this campaign. They hit hard right away.
Why did you chance the damage from 0 to 2 when you fired with the corvettes?
In most cases changing a blank to a double was due to using Turbolaser Reroute Circuits.
18.10 Looks like you kill the CR90, 7 hits 2 redirected 5 to hull? Would have made quite a difference.
Peter, the CR90 still had 2 front shields and only took 3 hull damage. I agree, one less CR90 would have changed the game.
Opps yep you are right, might have been better to stop that redirect, using an evade could have at best for him only equalled the effect, reroll the double into any hit and it would have died. Like the reports waiting for round two now.
