    What's the seat height?

I'll test ride that. Would have to change the mufflers before I owned it.

As Rench Ranch commented to Xulu Foxtrot, there are aftermarket options already being designed - I know Akrapovic already has one going into production, and Rench claims s&s is doing one that is more closely in line with the FTR1200 custom concept model that was used to promote the release. I've put my deposit down on the race replica already, happy riding!

Outstanding looking bike for sure....it really does look very similar to the flat track bike it's based off of. The haters on here are just trolling to troll, this bike is what was promised and more. I can't wait to throw a leg over one of these and see what it can do.

Agreed! S&S already has an aftermarket exhaust for the FTR 1200 that really makes it look like the prototype show bike. To get that dirt-track high mount system, the catalytic converters have to go. Motorcycles still have to meet certain FMVSS regulations (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) and emissions. To hide the catalytic converter, it had to be under the bike. No where else to put it. If it was in the mufflers they would be as big as the factory cat / mufflers on the Scout. The aftermarket doesn't have to deal with the Federal regulations requiring the cat as the OEM does when they launch new bikes. In addition this bike has to meet Euro 4 standards too. It's a lot to ask the Indian / Polaris engineers, so IMHO this is why the exhaust looks like it does. Still looks nice.
But on a bright note, for sure there will be companies like S&S, Bassani, Trask, etc.. that will make cool aftermarket custom pipes. Can't wait. Cheers!

I have RC components matte black excalibur eclipse slip ons on my thunder black scout 60. I'd be real interested to know if they have some plans for this bike.

Wow. That's about as interesting of a comment as Bob Smith is for a name. Lol. Do you buy generic brand everything too? Probably a Harley guy even. Or you have a 94 shadow. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

These guys are just mad they can’t buy one, either wife won’t let them or no money because why would they even take the time to watch this video or take the time to write a comment, I think it’s funny

I believe these are the latest S &S pipes in the testing stage. It looks like they’ll be available as an option when the bikes are delivered. It makes the bike look a lot better for me.

Love the high pipe look, but I bet it would be horrible for a passenger (if you could even safely put a passenger on with those).

      They just blew it.
We wanted a street tracker not another street fighter
I was prepared to drop 20k on a bike with one seat and carbon fiber everywhere
Like that prototype they teased us with.
Going to buy a BMW r nine t next week.
If it’s anything like my dads bimmer
I’ll have it for 45 years , if I live to be 93.

      @8654ZuluFoxtrot 6 ปีที่แล้ว

What is a “street tracker”? Not bagging on your comment, but I don’t understand at all why anyone would want to ride a flat track bike on the street. The RnineT isn’t a street tracker, it’s exactly what you just said you didnt want...a street fighter, just a naked one.

I'm a fan of the Springfield dark horse. I bought my first bike this past July. Thunder black scout 60, getting my experience in on it has been a blast. I'll buy an FTR1200 as soon as my 60 is paid off. I'd love to open my barn door and have both asking me to go out. Then, Springfield. But if wife has her way it'll be Springfield before FTR.

There are less mods too. If they had designed it to flip and switch parts from standard scout to bobber. And back I'd have been all about it. But, they made it totally independent except for motor.
