This is the first time I've ever posted any type of comment on TH-cam. But, after seeing the AI audition, then following a search to here, I came away thinking...WOW ! Your voice strongly reminds me of Eva Cassidy, only far more soulful. Your inflective-filled runs are appealing to ALL age groups. From one approaching the end of his, to one just beginning their journey: Never forget WHY you sing and play....It's not money , fame or fortune,. It's because you HAVE to. The "business" side can be brutal. DO NOT EVER let that reach where your music lives. From someone who's learned....Give it all away, to yourself.

Alicia Keys wishes that she wrote this song. Seriously though, I can't believe more people haven't commented on this. What an incredibly beautiful voice; perfectly controlled but still overflowing with emotion and character. This woman has the complete gift. I don't really know that she'll win American Idol, just because I'm not sure that she really fits into that particular idiom; her talent completely transcends that. If she doesn't win, I hope that it doesn't discourage her. She's way too important to stop doing what she's doing.
