@Andrew Harmer Hi Andrew I have never had a problem with the stitching coming apart. I go through about 3 pairs a year, but gloves are gloves not much stands up to gill rakers and lobster spines for long.

How do you like your Riffe gloves? I have a pair and the stitching came apart with a couple months use. Just wondering if I got a bad pair, or if that is a reoccurring problem.

Thanks! It is a bit of trial and error at first, I gauge it off my finger, obviously different for everyone.

heard of more then a few wetsuits comming apart due to the stitching.
@Matt Wilson Thanks mate, I was anticipating the line running out before I got to the surface so I clipped off my belt reel just in case, then the reel handle got tangled with the belt reel line.
I lost big kingy with a shot in the stomack .now i only shoot near the head.i stone couple big ones this way.one was a huge gt.
I wedge the camera back a fingers gap between my head and the back of the camera.
how hard is it to stone one of those beasts?

@UncleT0ny I usually aim between the anal and dorsal fin as it is a guaranteed holding shot, they will usually run till they die. They can be inquisitive at times and offer a good stone shot if you are confident to take it.
That's gotta be the gutsiest fishing sequence ever....you spear a large mackeral in deep water and bleed it before getting out....

I generally aim between the anal and dorsal fin on big mackerel, get a shot through there and it’s never coming off, went in a bit high on this one but came out in a pretty good spot, cheers!
