Spearfishing Coastal Shoals STACKED With Spanish Mackerel

An unbelievable day out spearing the inshore reefs and shoals off Townsville, finding great vis and bait stacked up is what we often hope to find. We all managed to bring home some nice fish and some crays to top off the day.

I’m using a Spearblu 80 and 120cm roller at the moment. The crays we normally find anywhere from 7-15m deep

how come the water is green when your going down but then has a more clear vis the further down you get?
