Watching his Zelda journey is like experiencing part of our childhood all over again. Sometimes he over thinks things and makes it even more difficult when it's a simple solve but I think it's safe to say that we all love and appreciate @Deebeegeek and are here if he needs help
As a 90es kid, Ocarina of Time were the first video game I ever laid eyes upon, while the GBA port of A Link to The Past were the third video game I owned. I'm now closing in on 30 and still struggled with going to sleep every night because I were so excited to play more the next day. I genuinely never would have imagined that my cold old heart were even capable of that level of excitement anymore, yet Tears of The Kingdom proved me wrong.
I love the series because of how much fun it is and the personal story you can tell in each one. I've always imagined my Link as the same link that pretends to have amnesia throughout the years and is sick of everyone around him saying he isn't worthy, even though he's proved his worth 10 times already
I discovered Zelda when I was little and was in love with knights and stuff like that. So I found Zelda and completely fell in love with the game. And when Zelda BOTW come out with all its regions and weapons and upgradable armors it blew my mind. And now we’re 2 days away from the release of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom and I’m shivering!
This series just has that magic that I have not been able to find on any other video game series, it's incredible really. The way it is so simple at first glance but the more you look into it it gets more complex, the music with all the hidden references everywhere, all the callbacks from other games i just really love The Legend of Zelda
Zelda has been a family tradition, my big bro & my mom introduced me to this amazing world, I grew up playing all of the games My first game was A Link To The Past for the SNES, and my second was Oracle of Ages in the GBC, One of the reasons I fell in love with the franchise was the story of every game(even tho when I was I child I didn't understand anything haha but now that I do, I love it more) Another thing I love it's the music, I always find the soundtrack of each game fascinating But the thing I love the most is that to this day, we still share that love for Zelda games in my family, and we'll are excited for Tears of the Kingdom❤
These games are such a significant part of my life, you have no idea how much they have influenced me. I love the characters, the lore, the music, the world building and storytelling. It's amazing to see how far it has gone and to still be part of this amazing community :)
I became a fan as a kid when my brother purchased Ocarina of Time. The exploration, the puzzles, the mechanics, the humor and sadness inherent in every game... it's just such a dynamic and interesting series to play. So many Zelda games are iconic, genre-defining entries. Zelda I, Ocarina of Time, Breath of the Wild... game changers.
This is the most excited I’ve been for a game since…forever. It’s like I’m a kid on Christmas morning again. The level of hype I have going into this game is undefined. But at the same time I’m super bummed about saying goodbye to Breath of the Wild. I hope many people including myself find it easy to come back to BotW after a game like Tears of the Kingdom.
YES, I feel very much the same. I've never felt this hyped in my LIFE. I don't think people are going to just forget BotW though. I love Majora's Mask, and I still also love Ocarina of Time. I still play them both from time to time. (pun intended) Usually I play them back to back. I think it'll be much the same with Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild.
I'm one year older than Link (🤭). I played The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the very first time when I was 13 (Those *BEAUTIFUL* N64 years!!!), while I was recovering from a tedious, almost traumatic surgery... and I immediately knew I was in front of a total masterpiece, an utter work of art. It helped me get through all my loooooong convalescence, and became my very first, *actual* English teacher, since my mother tongue is Spanish; I'm Mexican (and never been abroad... yet, unfortunately). I was a bit devastated when I knew Nintendo wasn't celebrating Link's anniversary the way they did with Mario's... Nevertheless, my absolute love for The Legend of Zelda franchise couldn't possibly be greater than it already is today. Well... in fact, it can, actually: I do believe everyday I love it more and more! 😍 Had I the honour of winning the *HUGE*, copious giveaway you've prepared for us, DeeBeeGeek, I'd be eternally grateful; words couldn't possibly be enough to express my gratitude, if I won. And even if I don't win it, you're the best. Every time I feel stressed or a bit down, your videos make me smile and laugh (too hard, sometimes); it's as if I had a good old friend far away, in Ireland, helping me through my stress or sadness. You're everything, man. Thank you for existing! 🫶🏼🫂🥇💕👏🏼🙌🏼❤️🔥🏆
I grew up with the Zelda series, I love the adventure, how you can explore in each game, I love the story too, the music, the bosses, the dungeons, how you have to solve a lot of puzzles through all the game And with BotW the thing I love the most, was the liberty to literally do whatever you want I'm ready for Tears of the Kingdom The collector's edition looks amazing
I’m a fan of this amazing series probably because of its story. It really captured my attention when I was younger, yet so too did the then-big feeling “open” worlds, at least compared to games I used to play. It also wouldn’t hurt to mention the music, which is always a masterpiece.
I love every aspect of the games, the story, the music, the puzzles, the characters, I love that every game introduce a new mechanic, like explore the seas in WW or the skies in SS, the transformations in MM, the time traveling in OoT, its just amazing, I love this series
I'm pretty new to Zelda and I feel so grateful I found out you were as well because it makes me feel ok to be learning about the series just now and I don't feel judged about it, I've always loved deep and meaningful stories and as a die hard fan of kingdom hearts just getting into Zelda I feel like it's something I missed so hard on, it's amazing.
The lore and music in these games amaze me. For BotW it’s obviously the massive open world to discover and all the little details within. I am so excited for Tears of the Kingdom. Good Luck to everyone and thank you for giving away such an amazing item!
I originally started playing as a kid, but when the series was truly starting to pull me in its carefully crafted universe was when I started to understand the story and characters and trough that I got heavily into dungeons their unique theme, atmosphere and their PUZZELS. oh dear lord I love solving the puzzles. I always feel like a little hero myself solving them. I can't wait for the highly possible return of them in tears of the kingdom!
That's one beautiful looking collector's edition box! Grown up with Zelda my whole life and it's a series I cherish with all my heart. Zelda games always bring the most excitement to me and I cannot wait for Tears of the Kingdom!
The world of Zelda was introduced to me as a wee kid in 1998. I still remember how immersed I was hearing Link's shield and sword clink as he was running around Kakariko Village. I have been a huge fan ever since! And a fan of you since your BotW playthrough :D
Every time I pick up a Legend of Zelda game I have a wave of nostalgia come over me. Bringing me back to so many parts of my childhood where I was engulfed in the world with Link, Zelda and Ganon once again. It still has that excitement over me. The music, the visuals, the story. Just incredible!
What has kept me a fan of the series for around 11 years now is the ambiance and the vibes it gives off. There's just something about its world that feels enchanting, even in its darkest versions. It's so rich, and even though people have called botw's hyrule empty, to me that emptiness has always felt so heavy, so purposeful that it never bothered me in any way. It was a hyrule that was grieving, but thriving nonetheless.
@@MAPOtheKid exactly ! It's justified emptiness, and it doesn't take away from the world at all ! You can still look left and right and only see things you can interact with. It's peaceful yet heavy with unspoken feelings and memories. I remember for some time at first getting on the horse stressed me out a bit because of the riding music, I felt like I was disturbing the peacefulness of it all. Something about that theme just added tension.
Ιf TotK capitalizes on the feeling of camaraderie and companions, it will be perfect thematically. In BotW, we saw a destroyed and distant Hyrule thus the "emptiness" was justified. In TotK, the same Hyrule rebuilds and all races fight together, as Hyrule is getting repopulated.
My dad and i used to play zelda back when i was young, he passed away sadly after contracting a heart disease while on vacation. Zelda is one of the fondest memory i have of him which is primarily the reason why i love the zelda series.
One of the things i love most about Zelda, it’s that throughout its history and many games… it has never disappointed. I’ve always been able to see the love and care behind every piece of story and character presented, and I’m sure Tears of the Kingdom will be the epitome of just that! ❤
I’m a fan of the series because breath of the wild in particular is the game that got me into the series to begin with ever since I’ve beaten the wind waker ocarina of time and majoras mask
The lore. The music. The world-building and the attention to details in this series is timeless and truly a masterpiece. You can return again and again, and always discover new things.
What made me love Zelda was that my Dad was always into it and even my grandfather was into it. And growing up watching them play Zelda made me love it and finally playing it myself. Just a series I’ll always hold close to me
The Legend of Zelda became a part of my most cherished childhood memories and made my love for the creative arts grow. I admire the pure beauty of the art, story, characters, and worldbuilding this series made me experience. As a child, I fell for the sights, but as an adult, I fell harder for the journey. 💛
I suffered from childhood depression. I remember using breath of the wild as a way to escape. Link has always served as a symbol of strength in my life. I feel that I’ve grown and developed with the series. I cannot wait to make even more memories with tears of the kingdom.
Something about the symbols and big ideas in this franchise just creates magical storytelling to me. The little details that flow between different games and the ties that connect each version of these same characters together always draw me in and keep me hooked.
The first Zelda game I played was Ocarina of Time, I was 8 years old, I’m 31 now, and I can’t forget how amazing was playing this game. Since then, Zelda is my favorite game, and I know it will always be. Breath of the Wild made me cry so much, the history is amazing, and was so nostalgic see the ruins of the temple of time. I know that Tears of the Kingdom will be even more amazing!
Twilight princess was my first Zelda game when I was around 7 years old and now just thinking about it makes me nostalgic. It's played such an important part in my life ever since and is what made me love video games as much as I do today. I can't think of a series that holds as much significance for me as this one. Just listening to the main theme can make me tear up. It's just such a good series, it has everything, the soundtracks, the characters, the story, all the small details and love put into each game
The Legend of Zelda has been a staple of gaming for decades. It is a series of Legendary status, utilizing music, aesthetics and story to wow gamers since 1986, and will continue to do so for many more years. How can you not love such a gigantic and fantastic series?
Ocarina of Time changed my life when I was 9. The aesthetic, the music, the combat, the story, I was enthralled! The Zelda adventures have a special place in my heart
I need to have this. I've been playing since I was 10, thanks to my dad introducing me to majoras mask and ocarina of time on his 64. I'm 31 and been a fan ever since, even playing older games. I was so obsessed and still am with this series. It helped me get through my worst times in my life. Anytime I was depressed, zelda brought me out of it and made me happy. If I got this, I'd definitely be sharing it with my bff. ❤ Seeing you open this makes me think of how excited i was as a child at first discovery of the series. Shaking and excited. Zelda and Link bring alot of joy. Best video game series you can get into.
You have always been so generous to us. Thank you! Thank you for your generosity, your time, your talent, the laughs and all the shenanigans over all these years!
This series means so much to me, the story, the music, the gameplay, every single game has made me feel not like I'm playing a game, but like I've gone on a true journey and adventure
I love the Zelda series, because it is just so complex and interesting to play or watch videos about. Also these games have a special place in my heart as I played them since I got my first console.
I've been playing Zelda games as long as I can remember. As a kid I had the original NES golden cartridge. The new steelbook reminds me of that actually. My whole life it's been one of the best series to give you the feeling of exploration and discovery, and botw was the biggest example of that, I can't wait, and hardly believe that tears of the kingdom is so close. Thanks for doing your zelda series, been great to see you explore hyrule.
phantom hourglass was one of the first games i ever played and the series has stayed dear to me ever since. when i was younger, playing the ds games and looking things up about other games from the series that i couldn’t play at the time, brought me so much comfort and joy. even when i picked up breath of the wild at age 21, i could tune into that same comfort and joy i felt when life was simpler.
Agree! Phantom hourglass is so underrated! Its my fave as well and also the first one i played. The game mechanics are still different to anything previous. Zelda fan ever since
I also started with Phantom Hourglass but my child brain couldn't get past a certain part and later sold it. However, my interest in Zelda games didn't wane and I played nearly every game (recently finished Phantom Hourglass) to this day. I love this franchise.
Ocarina of Time was one of my first games I played when i was a kid, I played every new game that came out and always had something I loved about each one. I know when Tears releases I'm gonna spend more time on it than even botw
Man, the first Game of Zelda I played was MM, I didn't know anything of that green guy from Brawl was, but as soon as I started from My old N64 playing, I couldn't stop, I had so much fun just spinning on goron or swimming on zora, even thought I didn't even knew how to read! After that, I kept playing more Zelda, OOT, TPP, SS, to the point I knew the entire story, making me love it even more Is the inner child of mine who enjoy playing those dungeon and exoloring, and is my more mature loving every single story of the games
I fell in love with the Zelda series because of the amazing music and art in the games. As a musician, Zelda soundtracks feel to me almost like a love letter to music. From Koji Kondo to Manaka Kataoka, they’ve always managed to integrate it into the games and stories almost seamlessly. Music becomes more than just the soundtrack, it becomes a character that’s part of the story. It elevates the sense of adventure.
I grew up with Zelda. It has always been and still is my favorite game series. Stories and adventures, peaceful an exciting or sad and scary. Zelda has it all. And the music is still legendary. For me each Zelda game has a different something special that makes them magical
Zelda has always been so special to me :) I grew up playing Link to the Past on the SNES with my grandparents and I still have those save files to this day 💚 It’s been so fun to see your journey with the series and I can’t wait to experience TOTK for myself!
I started playing this series as a kid. it taught me about adventure, kindness, how to overcome a challenge…and that some endings are bittersweet. A lot of these games don’t exactly have happy endings, but they tell beautiful stories and they shaped the way I see the world today. So glad to be alive rn y’all
I first got into the Legend of Zelda with Skyward Sword as a kid. It was the first "serious" story-based game I had ever played, so it's quite special to me. I was so excited when I found out you would be playing through it. I can't wait to see how you like the rest of it! Enjoy! :)
You should have been playing A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, or Twilight Princess as you first Zelda since they were on the aame system. Skyward Sword was a mediocre Zelda game.
@@ChrisMS0815 Personally, to me all Zelda games are damn good in their own right. Hands down, 1 of the best game series of all time, there's always something to appreciate with each entry in the series imo
What I love about the world of LoZ, is the nostalgia. It brings me back to my childhood, loved feeding carrots to epona, the tasks, being spooked at nighttime, and saving the world of course 😅
I haven't been this hype for a LoZ game since Twilight Princess. TLoZ is such an amazing series. So many puzzles that still confuse even the smartest of people. My first LoZ game was Wind Waker. I'm so amazed by the evolution of the timeline. TLoZ will always be my #1 favorite game series. TLoZ truly encompasses my childhood and I'll never forget it. Whoever reads this, I hope you have a blessed day!!
A Heart's Journey with The Legend of Zelda Ever since the golden cartridge of "The Legend of Zelda" first graced my trembling, 8-year-old hands, it was clear that this wasn't just a game - it was a portal to a universe where courage, wisdom, and power wove an enchanting tapestry of adventure. The Legend of Zelda wasn't merely an escape from the mundanity of everyday life; it was an awakening. It taught me the value of persistence in the face of adversity. Each puzzle was a challenge, a riddle that demanded tenacity. Each monster, an embodiment of fear to be conquered. The narrative wasn't just about saving a princess; it was about realizing the hero within oneself. My love for Zelda isn't just about the intricate dungeons, the epic boss fights, or the rich lore etched into every corner of Hyrule. It's about the goosebumps I get every time I hear the stirring melodies of Koji Kondo, echoing through the chambers of my heart. It's about the friendships forged and the bonds strengthened through shared triumphs and defeats. There was a time when life mirrored the darkest themes of Majora's Mask. A personal tragedy had left me feeling like Link, lost in a strange, uncaring world. But just as Link finds his way, guided by the strength of his heart and the friends he meets, so too did I find solace in the trials of Hyrule. Every solved puzzle, every conquered dungeon, became a testament to my resilience, a beacon of hope in the bleakest of times. The Legend of Zelda is more than just a game series to me. It's a companion that has walked with me through every phase of life, a timeless saga that grows and evolves just as I do. It's a testament to the enduring power of storytelling, a testament to the magic that can be woven from pixels and melodies. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, in its collector's edition, isn't just a game - it's a treasure chest, brimming with memories and adventures yet to be had. To own it would be to hold a piece of my heart, a piece of my journey, crystallized in time for me to revisit whenever I wish. It's not just about winning a game; it's about embracing a piece of my soul, my very identity. Thank you for this opportunity to express my love for a series that has shaped my life in countless ways. The Legend of Zelda, in all its incarnations, will forever echo through the chambers of my heart, a timeless lullaby to the hero within us all. Thats why I love... the legend of Zelda!
I love the music in the Zelda series, learning Song of Storms and Gerudo Valley on piano when I first got Ocarina of Time and (my favorite) Majoras mask will always make me love Zelda ❤
I cannot believe we are only 2 days away. I am definitely going to be mesmerized in totk just like I did with botw. So many precious memories are waiting to be relived. HYPE!
The way The legend of Zelda brought my siblings and I together during quarantine was completely beautiful, since then I do really owe these games part of my good relationship with them.
I’m a fan of the series because I LOVE the music. So many classics, and the themes are so easily recognizable and memorable I can remember the themes of the games within the first notes of listening. The sound of the series has always been a favorite aspect of mine.
Been a fan of the Legend of Zelda games ever since I was a little kid almost 30 years ago. I started out with Link's Awaking DX as one of my first videogames, so much nostalgia to this series!
I initially played BOTW and after loving everything about it, I went back to older Zelda games such as Wind Waker and Links awakening and fell in love with them as well! They’ve bought nothing but joy into my life over the last year and a half and brought me out of many dark moments. The series holds a special place in my heart ❤
I can't believe we've come full circle from reacting to the announcement, to waiting years for a trailer, and now it's finally here. We love you Dee, and the rest of our geeky community
Hi Julia, this is Torque, one of DeeBeeGeek's staff, could you take a peep at this video please. th-cam.com/video/-bcnoe4WbZo/w-d-xo.html (Don't worry, this is the real DBG account replying to you ^^)
I’m a fan of the Legend of Zelda series because I’ve been playing it since the 1990s. Every new Zelda game I’ve played and enjoyed. My favorite was Ocarina of time but these latest additions could take the cake. Zelda is more than just a game for me, it’s my childhood.
Breath of the Wild was my first Zelda game too, and I love the exploration so much. I've spent hours and hours just wandering aimlessly, especially during lockdown when we couldn't wander ourselves. It's a beautiful world.
Zelda is such an amazing game and one of my favs was Majoras mask (BOTW was amazing too). I remember as a young teen girl playing Majoras mask and OOT too. After my dad passed it was my one escape. I would spend hours riding Epona around listening to the beautiful soundtrack.
First time I played Zelda I was 8 yo, a friend of my mother cracked the rom on my pc and I started playing Ocarina of time, now I realize listening to those melodies that I’m grown up and those days are not coming back but I preserve special memories of those days, every single Zelda game marked and will mark an entire generation of players that are gonna feel nostalgic one day, Zelda is not just a game but a friend that you meet and you can’t let go, that’s why I love Zelda!
The world building and Lore behind every signal location are truly amazing. The time and effort the devs put into the world of Zelda is truly incredible. That’s why I love Zelda games .
I grew up with Legend of Zelda, one of my favorite memory's of Zelda was when Majora's mask came out and my brothers got stuck. I just used to play around in the world for hours even if I wasn't progressing, then I open the path up the mountains and started my journey. I am the youngest out of my brothers. so it was a big deal for me back then.
What I love most about this game is that you have a huge and magical adventure where it's right in your hands, you can play wherever and whenever you want, take it everywhere and marvel at every second of this splendid game
I’ve been playing since I was a toddler, starting with A Link to the Past. It’s the lore, the characters, the music, the aesthetic, the story. It’s the whole thing. I lost a lot when growing up, and Zelda has been one of the few constants. It was a time I could spend bonding with my parents, and a source of community as I aged.
I love this series because my uncle introduced it to me many years ago. We have a n64 and I was only allowed to play a few games. I went through our game collection and ocarina of time stood out to me so i popped it in and just ran around hyrule. Then the 3ds came out and I played the remastered version so many times. That’s why I love the legend of Zelda series.
I got the BOTW from a friend having been told how good it was. I was skeptical at first but fell in love immediately. I can’t wait to carry on my journey as a relative newcomer to the Zelda franchise in TOTK
My favorite thing about The legend of Zelda franchise is probably its universe and it's world-building I really think they're so special. Wether it's from the main plot or in tiny little details of our exploration we keep finding out more about the history and the cultures of Hyrule : hearing lost myths and stories about ancient heroes and past battles or alliances. It just makes the entire world of Zelda feel so much more real and deep and I often think it would be so great to live in there just for a day. That's also why BOTW was just so much of an experience since the open world is an invitition to exploration which really is the core of the games. I just love that we get to have our adventures and go after rumors and quests in this Ghibli-like universe. I love finding out more about the legends of hyrule, the lore behind the game, the different ruins and cities across the land. Growing up with those games was honestly one of the best thing that happened to me.
I started the Zelda series when I was in a really low time in my life. & It got me through. I love Zelda because of the shear beauty, deep lord, & puzzles!!! ❤
I am a fan of the The Legend of Zelda franchise because it helped me survive my father's passing when I was a kid. It all comes down to The Song of Healing. Started my TLoZ journey when I was around 5, when Ocarina of Time came out. I didn't know how to read English back then, but my best friend helped, and go through it, had fun learning songs, chasing cuckoos, learning how to parry Ganondorf's attacks was awesome. To date, for me, the frozen, ending shot is my favorite of all times. Years later, Majora's Mask came out. A whole different experience. I was 8, still grieving over my father's passing; And then, we learned "the song of healing". The tune itself is very melancholic for me, but when we used it to "cleanse" the "ghosts" of certain characters, so they can move on, I don't know, it hit different you know? I was an only kid, only had my mother who returned very late from work, so, the game was my escape, wishing I could play that song to bid a proper farewell to my dad. Up until now, I continue listening to soundtracks of the games, exploring dungeons, completing incredible sidequests. It's kind of hard to explain, when something just resonates with you, but this franchise does :) So, thank you for this amazing unboxing, for not opening the art book 😄 🤣 and for doing this giveaway. Best of luck to everyone!
I love Zelda games because theyer heavily lore related. And the fact that each game is just an extension of another really builds more layers onto pre-existing lore.
I really love the way the game make me feel while im playing, the music, the art, that moment when you are playing and just smile is the reason that make me a fan
I've loved the legend of Zelda since minisb cap I've always loved how deep and mysterious the lore is and watching people basically be detectives just piecing it together has always been so much fun I can't wait for this game
I love the nuanced mechanics of the game from having to adapt to the environment and also to specific enemies, the enemies, and the freedom I am able exhibit through the very open world of Hyrule.
I just got into this series but I was instantly captivated by the amazing elements in the games. The Zelda series is honestly one of the most beautiful put together franchises out there with the amazing scenery, music, lore/story and many more things.
I've been a Zelda fan since I played Ocarina of Time as kid. I've pretty much played all of them since then, but I enjoy that they made Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom fully open worlds to explore. I love the music and sound design of the games... It really helps immerse you in them and of course, you can immediately recognize Zelda music just from a few notes on most things.
I honestly just love the art book its so cool to see the designs for everything and it would be really fun to draw some of the pictures in there myself!
One of my favourite things is that in the breath of wild memory 14 Zelda says how she’s turning 17 the next day, which I watch that cut scene before my 17th birthday which was two days before tears of the Kingdom came out
I have been a fan since ocarina of time and haven't been able to shut up about the franchise after playing it 🤣🤣 the worldbuilding, storytelling, the music, everything about the zelda games is so immersive. And thats why i love them so much.
I really love how you started your Breath of the Wild journey knowing NOTHING at all and now look at you, a huge Zelda Nerd, time sure flies
It’s awesome
man you are 100% right i just bought today the zelda game and watch for my zelda collection (yes i want to start a mini zelda collection)
Watching his Zelda journey is like experiencing part of our childhood all over again. Sometimes he over thinks things and makes it even more difficult when it's a simple solve but I think it's safe to say that we all love and appreciate @Deebeegeek and are here if he needs help
the same thing happened with me 🥹
I love botw and I’m sad to see it go but somehow you made me more excited for totk
As an ‘80s kid I have fond memories playing Zelda from its beginnings. In my 40’s I’m still enjoying this amazing series!
you and me both :) Same
Me 3. :)
SAME!
Same, same. 42 year old Zelda fan here. Cheers to the future games to come! I wonder where they will take the series next?
Huh
I discovered Zelda when I was little and was in love with knights and stuff like that. So I found Zelda and completely fell in love with the game. And when Zelda BOTW come out with all its regions and weapons and upgradable armors it blew my mind. And now we’re 2 days away from the release of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom and I’m shivering!
The universe, the lore, the music, the characters, the puzzles, the dungeons..... LITERALLY EVERYTHING IN THIS FRANCHISE IS A MASTERPIECE!!!
I just said the same thing
YESSS ME TOO
Infact The Best franchise.
Well… Zelda II exists, and Tri-Force Heroes, and Four Sword Adventures… fine games but not masterpieces lol

The way it is so simple at first glance but the more you look into it it gets more complex, the music with all the hidden references everywhere, all the callbacks from other games i just really love The Legend of Zelda
Zelda has been a family tradition, my big bro & my mom introduced me to this amazing world, I grew up playing all of the games
My first game was A Link To The Past for the SNES, and my second was Oracle of Ages in the GBC, One of the reasons I fell in love with the franchise was the story of every game(even tho when I was I child I didn't understand anything haha but now that I do, I love it more)
Another thing I love it's the music, I always find the soundtrack of each game fascinating
But the thing I love the most is that to this day, we still share that love for Zelda games in my family, and we'll are excited for Tears of the Kingdom❤
These games are such a significant part of my life, you have no idea how much they have influenced me. I love the characters, the lore, the music, the world building and storytelling. It's amazing to see how far it has gone and to still be part of this amazing community :)

I think it'll be much the same with Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild.
never say goodbye to botw it’s more like brb
This franchise never ceases to bring me close to tears or just straight up making the water flow, it's an amazing experience
Had I the honour of winning the *HUGE*, copious giveaway you've prepared for us, DeeBeeGeek, I'd be eternally grateful; words couldn't possibly be enough to express my gratitude, if I won.
I grew up with the Zelda series, I love the adventure, how you can explore in each game, I love the story too, the music, the bosses, the dungeons, how you have to solve a lot of puzzles through all the game
And with BotW the thing I love the most, was the liberty to literally do whatever you want
I'm ready for Tears of the Kingdom
The collector's edition looks amazing
I’m a fan of this amazing series probably because of its story. It really captured my attention when I was younger, yet so too did the then-big feeling “open” worlds, at least compared to games I used to play. It also wouldn’t hurt to mention the music, which is always a masterpiece.
Most amazing music in the business 👌
I can’t wait to see what’s in the art book. Thank you for not spoiling it. Always so generous and considerate with the community.
Everything in BotW is purposeful, brilliant game.
@@stefanostsougkranis5851 it really is
And it really isn't that empty when you compare it with other open world games. It's just lacking towns but that's because hyrule was destroyed
Even the tv show? :D
I’m a fan of the series because breath of the wild in particular is the game that got me into the series to begin with ever since I’ve beaten the wind waker ocarina of time and majoras mask
Honestly I don't like botw story cause it's only memories and not stuff that's happening in the present and nothing changes afterwards
The lore. The music. The world-building and the attention to details in this series is timeless and truly a masterpiece. You can return again and again, and always discover new things.
I just love the stories told in Zelda games. The characters, the music and everything else. They just always make me wanting more of them.
I've only played Breath of the wild but the freedom, puzzles, characters, stories, and emotions you experience when you play are unique.
After that, I kept playing more Zelda, OOT, TPP, SS, to the point I knew the entire story, making me love it even more
Is the inner child of mine who enjoy playing those dungeon and exoloring, and is my more mature loving every single story of the games
There’s also pokemon, honestly has no reason for the music to slap that hard.
I grew up with Zelda. It has always been and still is my favorite game series. Stories and adventures, peaceful an exciting or sad and scary. Zelda has it all. And the music is still legendary. For me each Zelda game has a different something special that makes them magical
As an artist I would cry to have the art book in my hands GOOD LUCK EVERYONE 💖
Agreed, I loved the concept art
Same
Same! I’ve been drawing from the red art book in preparation for TOTK
Zelda has always been so special to me :) I grew up playing Link to the Past on the SNES with my grandparents and I still have those save files to this day 💚
It’s been so fun to see your journey with the series and I can’t wait to experience TOTK for myself!
I started playing this series as a kid. it taught me about adventure, kindness, how to overcome a challenge…and that some endings are bittersweet. A lot of these games don’t exactly have happy endings, but they tell beautiful stories and they shaped the way I see the world today. So glad to be alive rn y’all
Most of them do have happy endings though.
@@ChrisMS0815 stop trying to clown on there childhood I personally grew up on skyward sword as well and it’s a great game
@@ChrisMS0815 Personally, to me all Zelda games are damn good in their own right.
Hands down, 1 of the best game series of all time, there's always something to appreciate with each entry in the series imo
@@Fred-tw2zo I'm definitely clowning it, idc.
The lore of this game is INSANE! I don’t think I’ll ever stop finding new secrets in the game. It’s just unexplainable how epic this game is.
This game series is what got me properly into gaming as a child, and I'm glad it's still going strong
A Heart's Journey with The Legend of Zelda
Ever since the golden cartridge of "The Legend of Zelda" first graced my trembling, 8-year-old hands, it was clear that this wasn't just a game - it was a portal to a universe where courage, wisdom, and power wove an enchanting tapestry of adventure.
Oh my God. Your comment brought tears to my eyes. I feel it so much *-* Really beautifully written.
No shit... I've never seen such a beautiful description for The Legend of Zelda. It sounds like a lyrical work. Nice!
I love the music in the Zelda series, learning Song of Storms and Gerudo Valley on piano when I first got Ocarina of Time and (my favorite) Majoras mask will always make me love Zelda ❤
The lore. The music. The world-building and the attention to details in this series is timeless.
Best series ever and it's not even close.
I cannot believe we are only 2 days away. I am definitely going to be mesmerized in totk just like I did with botw. So many precious memories are waiting to be relived. HYPE!
The overall feel of botw is honestly unmatched. Can't wait to play the sequel!
The way The legend of Zelda brought my siblings and I together during quarantine was completely beautiful, since then I do really owe these games part of my good relationship with them.
How can you not be a fan? The characters, the story, the music, ... ❤ Love it all!
I’m a fan of the series because I LOVE the music.
So many classics, and the themes are so easily recognizable and memorable I can remember the themes of the games within the first notes of listening. The sound of the series has always been a favorite aspect of mine.
I have always loved the series since watching my dad play a link to the past when I was just a young boy
Been a fan of the Legend of Zelda games ever since I was a little kid almost 30 years ago. I started out with Link's Awaking DX as one of my first videogames, so much nostalgia to this series!
This game series got me through some tough times as a kid; it was and still is a great world to escape to :)
To simply put it, this series just absolutely captures the sense of adventure.
Been a Zelda fan since super Nintendo days. Nostalgia to say the least. This series is more than a game for me.
You won on the next video!
Hi Julia, this is Torque, one of DeeBeeGeek's staff, could you take a peep at this video please. th-cam.com/video/-bcnoe4WbZo/w-d-xo.html
(Don't worry, this is the real DBG account replying to you ^^)
The thing I LOVE about your Zelda journey DBgeek, is that you approached EVERYTHING with childlike wonder. Made me smile.
I love the Legend of Zelda series because it offers great story, open world, memorable characters, and enchanting music.
I’m a fan of the Legend of Zelda series because I’ve been playing it since the 1990s. Every new Zelda game I’ve played and enjoyed. My favorite was Ocarina of time but these latest additions could take the cake. Zelda is more than just a game for me, it’s my childhood.
I love the detail of the story and how Zelda has evolved over the years
Its just amazing! I bought an OLED Zelda switch just for this game.
I love the story and the journey we have to go on, on every single Zelda game. It always feel fresh.
Breath of the Wild was my first Zelda game too, and I love the exploration so much. I've spent hours and hours just wandering aimlessly, especially during lockdown when we couldn't wander ourselves. It's a beautiful world.
Not only is the legend of zelda series so nostalgic for me, it has such incredible story lines and unique character building.
Oh yes, please. I absolutely need it! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
How can I make it mine?!
Years later, Majora's Mask came out. A whole different experience. I was 8, still grieving over my father's passing;
And then, we learned "the song of healing".
It's kind of hard to explain, when something just resonates with you, but this franchise does :)
So, thank you for this amazing unboxing, for not opening the art book 😄 🤣 and for doing this giveaway.
Zelda’s just been the best games for passing those summer vacations - and now looking back also holds some of my bets game-related memories :3
