Great Ali! Allowed me to achieve forward shaft lean naturally without club manipulation..Upper body and head tilted slightly back at impact creates the desired 3 or so degrees of loft reduction..All 3 elements are done naturally..Low point in front of ball..Forward shaft lean..Full release squaring the face..All elements in a brief but comprehensive package.. COOL..😎..

I struggle with this and it's difficult to get handle forward. I can get the club face closed but sees to pull it left. crazy assed game.

exactly what happens to me, straight left off the club face (LH golfer). Any chance you could do some slow motion footage as well?

Great information. For those few of us that are disabled and play from a semi-seated position in a Solorider cart, and can't slide forward, would you suggest that we should preset our body in the impact position before taking the club back? this should keep the low point of the swing ahead of the ball. thoughts! glen

Can you use this technic with longer irons, like 543 irons, and rescue clubs.

Interesting how what used to be called undesirable hip sway has now become an integral part of a good swing.

I immediately compared your impact position with all top players..All identical.. From Harry Vardon throughout the last 120 years..All virtually identical..Mind boggling!!

@@AliTaylorGolf When I was a kid I saw Trevino hitting 100 yard wedges At Westchester country club and I kid you not you could throw a towel over them.. he still today was the greatest ball striker that I’ve ever seen I never saw Hogan hit balls..

You are teaching things that happen in millisecond. I have always believed that the club face is designed to square itself, be it you have a good fundamental grip and you don’t manipulate or impede the club face through the swing.

I think it’s important to be aware of clubface. Many golfers hold the club well but have learned a feel of impact that they think is square but is far from it.

Hate when the diagram shown to pick the video doesn't appear in the video.
