Do you use all organic products in your bread and scones? I'm trying to figure out costs and pricing. I've been making and selling, bread to friends, but have recently started selling my sourdough through pop-up sales at a local shop. I can only bake 3 loaves at a time in my oven, so time is a big factor for me.

@@lisakornhaus170 I don’t use all organic. I try to when I can and when it doesn’t drive my price up too high.

Can you do a video detailing how you set up and run your bread club? I can’t wrap my mind around how to set that up, but I have several customers that are requesting something like this.
Love your channel!!! ❤ Thank you for sharing all that you do.

I just started following you and I can so relate to your business model. I have a small home bakery in my small kitchen, I do sourdough bread, cookies and cinnamon rolls. I sell wholesale to one local store and it is going well. When you say you sell to grocery stores, is it a locally owned or like a well known grocery store chain? Also when you drop off your bread do you keep up with rotating it and do you credit them for what doesn’t sell, or if it’s out of date? I’m having issues with the store I sell to keeping stale bread on the shelf and trying to sell it. I cannot keep up with all of it because I do custom orders as well. I would appreciate any advice you could share and thank you for your videos!

@@ceisman2259 sounds like you are doing great. It is a local chain, it’s locally owned but they have 7 locations. They sell out in 2 days so I haven’t had that issue yet. I am working on my organization to make sure I stay on top of all the orders but it is a lot!! I wish I had more advice for you!

@@madarafarms thank you that was very helpful! I love your videos I can’t wait to see your new space when you finish it. My husband agreed today that I can get a small bread oven because my gas oven stopped working yesterday and it’s only 3 years old I think I burned it out baking so much bread in it!

I love your videos! I have a homeschooling momma to 4 in SC. After watching you, I was inspired to open up my own microbakery and it had taken off!! I see you are using your in home oven, as am I. My oven is currently electric, not convection. I'm trying to decide if it's worth upgrading our home oven to a electric convection, or just waiting and maybe eventually investing in a bread oven. Thoughts??

@@jessicamarvin6615 i am so happy to hear this!! Nothing makes me happier! I wouldn’t get a convection oven because that is going to move the air around in the oven and reduce your moisture. I would stick with what you are doing if it’s working then upgrade to a bread oven.
