Motsoaledi tells SIU: show us officials that must be fired

- Home Affairs Minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi says the SIU should identify
officials who should be fired and those that should be criminally
charged. This follows a raid at immigration offices. Motsoaledi says
the SIU should also identify foreign nationals that hold fraudulent
documents.

It is logical for an asylum seeker or refugee to be an economic migrant. The wars, threats or either oppressions they are running away from have only one major consequence which is threatening or destroying their economic prosperity. Understand the law and rights properly. Any situation of wars , life threatening etc only destroys people's economic lives. You cannot separate refugees needs to economic migrants needs too. People who designed these laws or policies didn't design them properly. Either economic migrants, asylum or refugees share the same needs. The needs of education, safety, social security and also of contributing at the highest level of economic success. These are basic layers of social security embedded in all human kinds. Why have the policies been designed to separate their needs? Very strange approach.

Typical unprepared SA journalist. Motswaledi has to correct some of these journalists all the time. No factual or even cursory legal knowledge of SA immigration laws, the journalist just asking questions as if in a tavern somewhere.
