AutoShanghai2023 was beautifully designed and the video nicely done. I've seen a lot without being there. - Thanks! - But there was no car that I would like to buy, no eye-catcher that attracts me. A pity. There is no art in building big and expensive cars.

Yes, just that they don't get the spotlight. The new MG7 is pretty nice IMO.
China, being huge, will remain a large market for ICE and hybrid cars. One example is BYD: despite eclipsing Tesla in BEV sales, the other half of their sale are hybrid, although they don't advertise it much (the opposite of Toyota, lol). As they begin exporting these cars, it will have huge implication in the growing 3rd world markets which legacy makers in the west tend to overlook by hastily producing plans of "going full BEV in 2030s".
When is the 2024 Shanghai Auto Show?
I think before allowing flying car, we have to test it at very low altitude (1m)
But the question is, what of either fuel engine , either electric engine , cost the most in consumption .. danger, ergonomic navigation...
