That first band is one of the more talented bands in this series. They're all playing in the same rythm and tempo and nothing sounds extremely off-pitch

The first band is not even close to be one of the worst after what ive seen.
The band itself is good, it's the singer that's the issue. I was relieved when the solo finally came and he finally stfu.

1st band is actually nothing wrong, the style of vocals is very popular with punk (not melodic, more like screaming statements)... Its basically a toned back version of screamers metal or death metal.
The first band’s lead singer and guitarist look like the same person.

Being a pro musician for past 30+ years this is one of the most inspiring gut wrenching, toe curling, hart and soul hurting, terrible, worse than noise thing I've ever seen or heard AND believe it or not all these people on these videos just needed someone to actually sit down with them and teach them how to count. It's hard to believe that the greatest musicians in the world once sucked as bad as these people do. Gotta start somewhere!!! Lol
Some people literally have no capacity for rhythm whatsoever. Others are completely tone deaf and just can't connect what they hear with what they sing. I'm not sure how the science works, but I sure have witnessed it. It seems simple to keep a basic beat for someone who innately has rhythm, but for others, counting won't fix it.
Like you, I too am a "pro musician" and yes, we "pro musicians" are far better than these worthless and weak little kids playing together for the first time. Hooray for us! Hooray for us!

That second band...phew. Guitarist : I just learned the riff to Sweet Child of Mine, Bass guy : I know the words, "Drummer" I own a drum set let's form a band! How do you have three people form a band and have absolutely NO sence of time or rhythm?
Bassist: Not even playing in the same key... And when he's singing he's not playing... Then when he stops singing, he tries to play the parts he missed FAST to "catch up"... It's a literal disaster... I didn't think any band could be this goddamn bad.

It has to be a goof. Because the guitar player had the guitar sound and the lick. The singer wasn’t that far off from Axl’ s voice. They could have quickly whipped the song into shape unless they were all high on glue. Lol
Final Countdown band sounds like a Shaggs audition
I still enjoyed the first one, because at least they had allright timing and the earsplitting vocals was entertaining in of itself, but the second one..

it's ok if you're just having fun with your friends, locked up in the garage playing music badly, but what possessed some of these people to actually get on stage and perform in front of people?

That first vocalist sounds like Trey Parker performing metal for old people back in the old south park intros and he's so into it I'm splitting apart from laughter. Also at 3:15 I'm convinced he says "dying on the toilet"

The only thing wrong with the first band is bad production. They might sound good running through a good system.

The GnR band is kinda incredible. If I got the best musicians I knew together, and our intent was to do the worst and funniest Sweet Child of all time, we couldn't have touched this. This is high level concept art here.
Exactly. People keep saying those guys were goofing around. No, they weren't. That level is almost impossible to imitate for someone who can play. Some say the guitarist had decent tone, so he must have been fooling around. What tone? He sounded like my friend who doesn't play the guitar but insists on playing mine every time he comes over. I was cringing at my first recordings from back when I took up the electric guitar, but I was never that bad. I would practice a song for hours on end before I hit that rec button in the privacy of my home. Just practice the god damn thing to death before you get on stage.

A fusion of Alternative, Acid Rock, Avantgarde, Jazz Rock, and no-holds-barred playing.
You know those older guys in the first band are the ones on the music forums talking about gear and amps and how at their last gig they played their new amp and it slayed. Or they did a mod on whatever amp and blah blah blah. My new $3,000 Les Paul was so worth it and we brought the house down the first night I played it. Or could tell from memory the entire schematic of a 50 year old rare amplifier and argue over whether pick up covers sacrifice tone.

The first band is having a lot more fun than I have playing by myself.
As far as the second guys play Gn'R, I think the most humane thing that could be done would be to put cinder blocks around their ankles and toss them in mom's swimming pool to cool off for ten minutes.

I've been playing music for about 35 yrs, and I think I'm ready now to make my move up into this Worst Bands In The World Compilation category. Someone should organise a tour, I might get a gig as a roadie. that version of sweet child was like road kill
The second band really managed to capture a more intense version of the song. It was also pretty impressive that the rythm guitar player managed to nail the song AND rythm section

Real reason why these people are bad is cause they don't recognize their mistakes. Normal bands would stop and sense something is wrong, correct it then start over. If these guys have that, they will definitely improve.

The first band is way tighter than, say, The Germs... I feel bad you included these dudes. Also, this video is one of the reasons I have those nightmares where I have to play a show in my band but I realize we haven't practiced at all and I don't remember any of my parts or the words.

Where to begin with all of this..hmm? My very first "band" that I was ever in, as a kid, knew enough not to go on stage until we were "tight". I can't believe that those bands that actually played in front of people thought that they were "tight".
