Enjoyed the series. I think the winner is well deserved.. he has everything, his body shape is quite good and he has endurance, stamina , strength. Everything well balanced.
this took a very interesting turn when all the overrated people were out of the challenge and it was down to 5 underrated competitors even the more known competitors like the car dealer guy and the mountain climber guy were the first to be eliminated from the final quest i bet so many people were so disappointed
I guess because they all rooted for contestants they're familiar with? As for me I don't really mind since this show did what it's supposed to do, find the most balanced physique. Not the most popular physique, I guess. Writing this I'm actually sad that Min Cheol lost since I've been rooting for him.
I didn't mind because they're all very competitive and they won so they deserve it.
@@sapphireemerald6109 Was also rooting for min cheol. but that 1st challenge was too disadvantageous to him, he will surely pass the 2nd and probably 3rd? but i doubt he can beat the top 2 on that last challenge. At the end of the day the top 2? had overall well balance stats while having better endurance than most of the contestants.
The design choice of the last 2 quests was very strange and a lot of it came down to luck. Nobody was beating the car dealer in the atlas stone no matter what. The climber was never going to win the tug of war (except for a drastic mistake). In terms of them trying to highlight the "best body," a multi-event combined total score would've worked far better for the finals especially.
Design issues aside, the challenges were grueling and everyone worked their asses off and a lot of them came down to the wire so I can't complain too much

Omg that would have been amazing actually bcs its clear that they were all good at different things which kind of made it unfair imo for example the mountain guy could have gotten into top 3 if he passed the first challenge
Yeah, single Elim always felt awkward to me in these reality TV contests, but there's something to be said about watching two finalists go at it, be it Iron Chef, Physical: 100, gbbo, or any other competition TV show.
Here's hoping S3 implements a points system or something, especially for the team challenges when there's almost always heavy imbalances in team comp.

In my opinion they should have displayed the finalists (especially the last three) a bit more in the other episodes so the audience could feel a little more connected to them
Yes, I thought about that too, but maybe they were so under the radar initially that the editors thought to keep it that way as it had happened.that said, yeah I thought the show started off strong but got a bit tedious to watch towards the end because it's all about endurance.

It's funny you mention that. I rewatched the first episode to see if the winner popped up much and it seems like they intentionally hid him in the first episode. He doesn't get an intro (maybe half get some sort of intro shot/line), and you don't see him fall off the bar (they probably showed 40 of the 50 in the group, and he got around top 10 so they should be showing him). He's barely visible in a select few shots and that's literally it.
It makes sense he wouldn't get as much screentime in the first episode with a lot of big names but he gets a ridiculously small amount in reality

Congratulations to the 5 of them!!! I really wish that people will watch the final episode even without their favourites. These 5 are really great people overall, not just as athletes. Please support them and the other contestants.
Some people are weird but I guess a show is a show. People will expect things they want to, even if it's made up just to entertain them

As soon as they announced what the challenge was I knew the big guy was going to drag everyone with him lmao. Also having the smallest guys on the opposite end seems kinda unfair.
The producers and editors of this show needed to realize that we need to feel connected to the players as the show goes on or else it feels so bland. Like literally the top 5 guys were men they barely showed. The literal winner its like “ok who is that.”

So happy with the winner! Woo Jin-Young. 👏👏🏆🥇 The real dark horse. Got given so few screen time and no hype but the man was always hardworking humble kind and just letting the results talk for himself! In the battle, he won against a strong and bulky competitor and he always won with a big difference when he was in Sexy Yama team. Congratulations champion, so well deserved! Even his story is so touching, been preparing for the Olympic Games just to to know before that finally you will not have the opportunity to participate because your sport was not chosen by the government.

Some of the comments here, SMH. They all made top 5. Give them some respect. At the last episode, they had worries that the sport or activities they are doing aren't popular and so they didn't get noticed and some even looked down on them. Why are some of you doing the same here when they all made top5.
I know it is a show and we all got our favorites, but isnt it amazing that so many athletes participated and gave us some amazing physical feats to watch? Jo Jin Hyeong and Kim Sik, holding that stone for 2 hours was insane. I like that although they are competitive, the majority of them respected each other. Wish we also do the same.
Don't need to be the strongest or fastest, but absolutely need top-notch muscular endurance.

Interesting game! These 5 well deserve to be in the finals. They are top in terms of strength, stamina, hanging etc. Besides the biggest guy and the mountain rescuer, the other 3 are all rounders actually.
there were actually alot of people that could’ve been at the top like choo sung hoon, or sungbin, or maybe the earlier competitors who could have made it further like the wrestler or eun sil, or the gymnast guy and my first favourite who sadly didnt even make to the 2nd quest agent H but since its not a drama series like squid games we cant really be certain who would really make it in the end, those 5 were pretty underrated and very lucky and its pretty interesting how the most under looked competitor ended up winning the whole thing
right? I was honestly surprised that I enjoyed watching this show lol. the winner was really unexpected but it was really satisfying. I wasn't expecting him to win against the cyclist(just because the cyclist was bigger lol) which was the main point of the show, that it's not just about your physique haha.
the other best part is that all of the top 5 guys were from the combined group who won the ship carrying round😩✊

@@Rqblt Sungbin got beaten fair and square in a test of strength endurance. The guy who beat him is a national cyclist and strongman lol. Other ppl got way more fkd over like the wrestler guy whos team lost etc. The crossfit guy was just very well rounded and deserved the spot and win and the other guy had amazing endurance from national lvl cycling but also competed in strongman so he was quite well rounded. Neither guy got there by being lucky
This show really just proved it's not the athlete that makes the man but the man that makes the athlete. Never expected the end result but was amazing to see everyone's sportsmanship and excel in their individual fields.
I am crazy about the show. It's the best so far I've seen. Great jobs, I love all the contestants. Hope to see you all in the screen soon.

I feel bad for mountain climbers. I had high hopes for him since the beginning and he fought well. Over all congratulations to the winner because he fought well to the end as well and he told the mountain climber that he was going to win as well
The mountain cllimber could of got top 3. by a fraction of a second, he would of beat the other 2 in a endurance and speed test. but unfortunate he lost by a tiny bit.

Can you believe there is always karma? Mincheol was yielded his opportunity by the first place winner from the same team to participate in the rope climbing game which he won to qualify for the final. He was then eliminated by the first place winner in the 5-man tug-of-war by a split of a second.

It was a good show, but I see one major flaw which were the team challenges. There were some strong players in weaker teams that could have had a chance to win it all, but got eliminated as a result of this. If they decide to run another series, they need to keep it individual somehow. My humble opinion.

I read the comments. There's a bunch of bitter people bashing the top 1. You might think the "random guy" pops out of nowhere and won, but ain't his fault that he got less screen time. I'm rooting for Kim Min cheol, got sad but still accepted the winner. The top 1 won OVERALL. Stamina, Strength, Endurance and Mental. Keep that in mind airheaded people. It's not about the body, how big it is, how lean, the muscles or their body sculpt. Most of all this is not about who's famous or who got the most screentime. Lol, y'all so bitter for nothing. I was thinking when it was down to 2, that they could have kept jiggling the rope to make it harder to use the key... but obviously if you're physically exerting yourself so hard... who's to say you remember tactics.

I just wish they evened out the heavy with the light weight in this challenge. All the heavier guys were on one side.

The lesson learned: to have the fittest physique you need an average strength, a strong willpower and an outstanding endurance. And of course a bit of luck ;)
What makes you think the strength is average ? Being bulky =/= strong.
The winner Woo Jin Yong won during the battle quest against a strong and bulky competitor. Unlike some other look alike « strong/bulky » and very hyped competitors who choose slim ones for the battle quest.
He won also the last quest which is a strength one against a very strong competitor. Hae-Min who eliminated the competitor/Sung-Bin who the program sold us as the strongest one since the beginning.
The lesson that should be learned is never underestimate someone based on how the body is bulky. Bulky =/= strong.

lol yeah everyone wanted him to make it at the final 5 its sad to not see him and choo sung hun watching the final quest with the other losers but this aint a drama series where the main focused character makes it to the end this was very competitive and sadly everyone wasnt safe from losing but yeah if this were a goddamn anime series or literally another drama like squid games someone like sungbin would’ve actually survive the whole thing

Please season 2
NGL I think the final challenges missed the mark in terms of what they're trying to highlight. Of the final 4 challenges 2-3 were mostly/entirely endurance-based while the first was pure strength. They should've done a challenge focused in each of the categories they mention (strength, balance, agility, endurance), with a combined total score to crown the winner. Would've made for a much more balanced conclusion. Plus the ordering of events played a key role. Had the smaller climber not been in the tug-of-war, then the eventual winner would've lost.
Despite these design issues though, the last 2 challenges were incredibly close and made for a solid conclusion, so it's not bad overall by any means.

Now that I've seen all the episodes I have to say one thing. The women lined up with the men was totally unfair. That shouldn't belittle the performance of women. But a woman could not have won the last 5 tasks in the final. Maybe one or two. However, with the tasks where pure physical strength is important, it would have been over. if there's a second season, I'm hoping for a separate contest.

Sung Bin and Hae Min winner they have the body and I think Hae Min lost because he’s Arm is exhausted and strain in other quest he did ..
Than why did they lost.. Won Jin Young also performed 2 times the flip challenge just before. You should know the final took place the same day while the previous quests took place days before.
I wish the editing gave also a % of the attention and hyping they gave to Sung Bin since the beginning to the winner/Won Jin Yong. So we will not still have people underestimating him even after he won.
He was consistent since the beginning.
For the quest 0, he had a better results than Sung Bin and Hae Min.
The quest1: Sung Bin choose a slim competitor, not his height at all. Hae-Min choose the small judoka women. While Won Jin Yong choose a strong/bulky competitor.
The next quests: Won Jin Yong won with a big difference everytime with Sexy Yama team.
The body is not because it’s pretty shaped or bulky but it’s when you are polyvalent and have an all round strength.
Of course heaviest one will win this lol. I think this is not a good final battle. It's not fair for small players

The final was not a single game, it was split into 4 games. Strength will only win you this 1st one, you have to have other attributes in the games afterwards as well

So logically that means everyone takes part in all games and the one with the best results combined together wins. You are not the weakest just because you are bad at one game.

What if strength was the final and the weakest guy made it there? He would‘ve lost there anyway. So it doesn‘t matter whether it‘s the first or the last game, the overall best participant will win. You have to be good at every discipline

Poster boys or high-profile people are obviously necessary for advertisement.
Guys like Sung Bin, Choo Sung Hoon, or Agent H all served their purpose
of making people initially interested in the show and keep tuning in
every week to watch it.

Kind of annoying how Sung Bin absolutely dominated the competition only to lose to some random guy before the finals but whatever, well played to everyone who made it to the final
I’m not sure how sung bin dominated the whole competition. He did not win in the first quest (body hang), their team comes only second in the ship challenge, and basically in the last game he has a weaker stamina than Hae-Min.
this competition made sure that no one was safe from losing even someone as dominant as sung bin it was already explained and shown how much of an advantage the cyclist guy had that the challenge fitted him pretty well to his physique and endurance he was even ahead of the group at the very start of that challenge and compared to sung bin he was seen less tired than him but hey im pissed too choo sung hun doesnt make not even the people i rooted for in the top 5 how they were the first to get eliminated and then it was down to the lesser known people at that point

@@macristinacuriano8776 well in the ship challenge it was clearly a team game and he did the best he could with the team he had i think, yes he lost the body hang but he owned his 1v1 game in the fighting arena challenge and led his team to victory in the sandbag game, i think to the large majority of watchers he seemed to be the favourite. His physique was on paper the most aesthetically perfect looking and he probably got the second most screentime of any contestant so he seemed to be the best contestant in my eyes

Just finished watching the finale of Physical 100, and oh man, it was anti-climatic to say the least. The winner of the most perfect Physical body was anything but perfect...no offence. I never would have picked him from the beginning, yet somehow, he managed to sneaked it in. Go figure.
The best moment belongs to Sim Euddem at the Revival Challenge where she was leaning back on the rope with her Wonder Woman stance. That was so cool!
I am sorry but abs and big arms and big legs are important but far frok THE MOST important.
What you need is balance, like our ancestors, not beautiful but useful. This Guy was in my top 5 since episode 3.
There is luck in this show of course, but at the end I think à well balanced body took it.
Dude you‘re clearly a keyboard warrior with no clue! The Champion Woo Jin Young had nod only stamina, endurance, speed and power, but most importantly willpower. He deserved 100% to win! You’re just a hater who is mad because someone won who hardly had any screentime.

Honestly, I think it should have been called best All-Around, not best "Physique" because I think that the mountain rescue guy/ice climber had the best physique hands down. His plaster cast was awesome. I think he could have won the whole thing if it wasn't for this last fraction of a second loss on the 5 way tug of war. His physique seemed good for tile, and triangle and he was good at ropes due to the rescues.

@@andyanderson8129 True, individual challenges; that’s why I thought he would have been good at triangle run and ropes from ice /mountain climbing and yes the tile was team but he seemed agile and fast. Oh well, it’s all fun and good.
I do think by doing that you’re discrediting the other competitors certain people have built there body for their sport or hobby. If they did what you asked people like the car dealer would have no chance and you wouldn’t have the body diversity. So I understand where you’re coming from but like how they did this

Episode 9 is not as good as the others. Its a little bit a let down for me, but overall a great show.
