There is something wholesome about a fanbase that reacts so strongly to seeing a frog themed chair.

The funniest part of the Direct was how they made sure to show the froggy chair but didn't say anything about it, because they *knew* just the sight of it would make the fanbase explode XD

I just now realized after watching the direct twice, froggycrossing and failboat, that on the island kapp’n takes you to, the coconut trees are on grass
You can do that normally by putting a sand path down and planting them on it :)

New horizons is my first animal crossing game, and i just want to say, seeing people freaking out about a froggy chair in the best way is so adorable. I'm so happy for you guys lol.
Yeah! I didn't know about the froggy chair at all. I did hear about most the NPCs that are coming and the gyroids, but that's it. I didn't know about the morning exercises lol.
@@Zodia195 I think that was.... In the first game? It wasn't back in wild world, the oldest version I've played. But it's honestly so adorable and reminds me of a Japanese class I took where we always started with stone stretches, lead by a sweet, old professor
Same I just never knew that the old games had more things well until now of course, I was never really intrested, til my sister brought then I was a little more interested.
@@Mrmeeseekz2865 and there are things from old games that arent still in new horizons, like more fruits, so even if we wont be getting more major free updates there is still a chance we will get more things from the past either in small updates or more dlc. It is exciting to think what could be next in the future!

I'm not that familiar either. I've only played new horizons and not the other games (to be fair, I did have a Ds but it just wasn't something that I played. I had those little dog games where you take care of them and carnival). I think it's mostly because of how popular the item is than the actual item itself. Like, it's just a chair but because it's so well known and wasn't an item in new horizons, a lot of people are excited to see it

smash fans have gotten a lot of news over the years that it's kinda lost some of its charm, whereas i think most AC fans went into this direct not expecting much more than the Roost so its was pretty unexpectedly amazing.
Except for VERY happy kingdom hearts fans, like Aki's cant be compared

A year later, and this definitely remains as my favourite game-specific Direct in recent memory. Everything shown here was just perfect (except for the pricing of the Expansion Pass, but let's not focus on that).
Damn animal crossing looks like it's going to come back in popularity. I'm not a fan of animal crossing, but the new updates looks so cool!

RELAX SUZANNE. They did give us A LOT of things we didn't ask for. The most requested features were Kapp'n and Brewster, not Happy Home Designer or an RV plaza.

In this game we can put furniture outside so we could make real cool stuff for the exterior of the rooster, with tables, chairs, etc, or even put it on the beach! Could u imagine? Still I like the design but that little detail is the only thing I actually disliked from it all

I may be a new person to the Animal Crossing community but I recognized some of the characters that their bringing back and that they added so much which makes me happy!
I've only played mobile and wanted to do the switch game and hope one day to get one but since I'm going to get a job soon, maybe I'll buy my own switch and the game!
And I'm so happy that this game is made for people to relax and enjoy and create their own world like Minecraft since they are coming out with updates as well and both games make me happy in all ways but this will bring people together and hope to see more from Nintendo.

I didn't even know how much I needed to watch this! My mind was so blown I didn't even understand about Animal Crossing POV until I watched this video. I was thinking it had to do with the camera app on your Nook phone and I was underwhelmed. This update just continues to blow my mind!

I'm so glad Brewster's Roost is back. It's a very cherished memory between my little brother and I, since we used to play City Folk on the Wii together. We would always hop on every Saturday and go to the Roost to watch K.K. Slider.
